METHOD AND COMPUTER PROGRAM PRODUCT FOR THE MAINTENANCE OF COMMERCIAL AIRCRAFT
A method schedules maintenance on aircraft of a fleet. The method includes: determining the required items of maintenance of an aircraft, including deadlines; if the deadline of the maintenance is within the first period of time: specifying a maintenance station adequately equipped for carrying out the maintenance work in the flight network for carrying out the maintenance work in a specific ground time of the aircraft; if that deadline is in the second period of time: specifying a time span required for carrying out the maintenance within the second period of time, and specifying the routing of all aircraft in the flight network in consideration of the technical data of the aircraft and the technical requirements of the individual flight routes. and carrying the maintenance work at the specified maintenance station in the provided ground time.
DETERMINING RESTROOM OCCUPANCY
Techniques for determining bathroom occupancy are disclosed herein. In this regard, one or more sensors may determine whether a plumbing fixture is in use. When a plumbing fixture is in use, the one or more sensors may trigger a visual cue that indicates that the plumbing fixture is in use. Additionally, the one or more sensors may send (e.g., transmit) information indicating that the plumbing fixture is in use to one or more computing devices. The information may include a start time of the fixture's usage, an end time of the fixture's usage, a duration of the fixture's usage, etc. The computing device may analyze the information from a plurality of fixtures associated with a location and present the analysis to a user, for example, via a dashboard.
DETERMINING UTILITY INFRASTRUCTURE AND CONNECTIVITY INTERRUPTIONS
An approach for determining an infrastructure service interruption is disclosed. The approach relies on utilizing UAVs (unmanned aerial vehicle) to map electronic signals (e.g., Wi-Fi, etc.) that emanates from building structures (e.g., residential, commercial, etc.). Electronic signals having a certain frequency or multiple frequencies may be used. Essentially, the approach can detect power/signal loss by comparing differences in Wi-Fi signal maps pre and post event (e.g., severe thunderstorm, etc.). The 24/7 event monitoring is carried out by using UAVs and the UAVs can operate on a regular or event driven schedule vs. continuously operating multiple fixed data collection units.
Managing edge devices in building management systems
A fixture that includes an electro-mechanical (EM) element; a communication interface; a processor; and a computer-readable storage media coupled to the processor and having instructions stored thereon which, when executed by the processor, cause the processor to perform operations comprising: receiving, from a service via the communication interface, parameters for scheduling an operation of the fixture; determining, based on the parameters, a plurality of commands for the EM element and a respective time to execute each of the commands; providing, at the respective time, each of the commands to the respective EM element for execution; providing, via the communication interface, an indication of completion of the operation of the fixture to the service.
Automatic triage model execution in machine data driven monitoring automation apparatus
Machine data of an operating environment is conveyed by a network to a data intake and query system (DIQS) which reflects the machine data as timestamped entries of a field-searchable datastore. Monitoring functionality may search the machine data to identify notable event instances. A notable event processing system correlates the notable event instance to one or more triaging models which are executed against the notable event to produce a modeled result. Information of the received notable event and the modeled results are combined into an enhanced representation of a notable event instance. The enhanced representation conditions downstream processing to automatically perform or assist triaging of notable event instances to optimize application of computing resources to highest priority conditions in the operating environment.

Method and system for determining a state change of an autonomous device
A method and a system determine a change of state of an autonomous device, such as an autonomous vehicle. A plurality of performance parameter values obtained by monitoring at least one performance parameter during the autonomous operation of the device is received. A performance quantity quantifying the quality of autonomous operation of the device, in particular the quality of driving of the autonomous vehicle, is determined based on the obtained performance parameter values and information associated with a flux of software and/or hardware related to the autonomous operation of the device. Further, a change of state value for the device is determined based on the performance quantity.
Systems and methods for scheduling tasks
Methods, apparatuses, and systems for scheduling tasks to field professionals include: storing, in a database, a plurality of records reflecting characteristics associated with completing a set of technical services, wherein information in each record is derived from historical experience of completing each of the technical services; receiving a request for a new technical service associated with a location; and assigning a field professional to perform the new service having determined from information in the database a likelihood that the field professional will complete the new technical service in a single on-site visit at the location.
