The request includes a payment amount and an identifier associated with the first user. The method includes facilitating a first adjustment to a balance associated with the financial account of the first user in the data store identified based on the identifier. The method includes generating a link associated with the first adjustment and transmitting the link to the first mobile device. The method includes, upon receiving from a second user operating a messaging application, an indication that the second user has interacted with the link within the messaging application, facilitating a second adjustment of a balance of a financial account of the second user according to the payment amount.

Method, system, and computer program product for automatically re-processing a transaction

A method for automatically re-processing a transaction in an electronic payment processing network independent of a merchant system or a user includes: receiving a first transaction message associated with a payment transaction; generating a first authorization request; communicating the first authorization request to an issuer system; in response to determining that the first authorization request failed, automatically determining a second payment device associated with the user based on profile data; automatically generating a second authorization request associated with the transaction; communicating the second authorization request to a second issuer system; and in response to determining that the second authorization request was approved by the second issuer, processing the transaction based on the transaction data and the second account data.

Systems and methods that allow fulfilment of a transaction wherein a first party initiates the transaction, for example, at a point-of-sale device, and a tokenized account of an anonymous second party is identified as an account optimal for completing the transaction. The tokenized account of the anonymous second party is identified based on the transaction information. The tokenized account of the anonymous second party is matched to complete the transaction for reasons including a financial advantage or incentive associated with the tokenized account of the anonymous second party and not available to the first party at the time of the transaction. This financial advantage may be shared between both parties. The tokenized account of the anonymous second party may receive a financial benefit or other valuable consideration for completing the transaction. The tokenized account of the anonymous second party is reimbursed for costs associated with completing the transaction.

Systems and methods disclosed herein include a mobile solution to enable users to perform financial transaction over a network using a mobile device. These techniques allow users to maintain a single personal account identifier or number (“PAN”) on the user's mobile device and to utilize it to access a plurality of linked financial accounts and sub-accounts. Any one of the accounts can be selected by a user on the mobile device to remotely deposit funds to that account based on an image of a financial payment instrument. The image can be obtained using image capture technology on the user's mobile device. Users can perform a financial transaction using the verified images over a network in order to conduct a remote financial transaction such as applying a deposit, a payment, or cash load to a designated account which is linked to the user's mobile account in real-time or near real-time.

One method includes: receiving a primary payment source account of a user for a purchase transaction originating at the merchant, the primary payment source account having an identifier associated with one or more supplemental payment source accounts; receiving supplemental payment source accounts of a user for applying to a payment transaction originating at the merchant; receiving, from a user device, preference settings to apply one or more of the supplemental payment source accounts to a payment transaction; receiving a transaction authorization request from the merchant or merchant acquirer for a transaction amount; and determining a combination of payment source accounts to use in the payment transaction, from a group comprising one or more supplemental payment source accounts and the primary payment source account, and any of one or more preference settings.

Disclosed herein are system, method, and computer program product embodiments describing the creation and funding of tax-advantaged accounts at a point-of-sale. By immediately funding the tax-advantaged account at the point-of-sale using a funding and payment mechanism, the disclosed embodiments may effectively and instantly fund a tax-advantaged account at a point-of-sale. The funding and payment mechanism overcomes the lapse in availability of funds inherent in legacy systems. Thus, an account holder may then immediately pay a provider from the tax-advantaged account for qualified expenses. The disclosure also presents a credit feature allowing prospective account holders to initially fund the tax-advantaged account. At the point-of-sale, the prospective account holder may link their newly created tax-advantaged account to other accounts, allowing the system to detect potential over-contributions. The disclosure also presents a retroactive analysis feature that analyzes linked accounts to create tax-advantaged transactions in transactions completed earlier in a plan year.

PEER-TO-PEER TERMINAL AND CONTRACT TRANSACTION SYSTEM

A peer-to-peer terminal includes a bid data obtaining unit, a bid data transmitter, a contract result calculator, a contract result transmitter, a contract result receiver, and a contract result selector. The bid data obtaining unit obtains bid data. The bid data transmitter transmits the bid data to another peer-to-peer terminal. The contract result calculator calculates a contract result from a bid data set obtained by the bid data obtaining unit and including the bid data. The contract result transmitter transmits the contract result to the other peer-to-peer terminal. The contract result receiver receives, from the other peer-to-peer terminal, another contract result calculated by the other peer-to-peer terminal. The contract result selector selects one contract result from among the contract result and the other contract result.

TRANSFERS USING CREDIT ACCOUNTS

Disclosed are various embodiments for transfers using credit accounts. A request to send a specified amount of funds from a specified credit account to a recipient is received from a first client device. A transaction identifier for the request to send the specified amount of funds to the recipient is requested from the computing device. A first notification is sent to a second client device, wherein the first notification comprises the transaction identifier and the second client device is associated with the recipient. A second notification is received from the second client device that the recipient has accepted the specified amount of funds. A funds transfer is then initiated to the monetary account for the specified amount of funds.
