Recordation of device usage to public/private blockchains
A personal blockchain is generated as a cloud-based software service in a blockchain environment. The personal blockchain immutably archives usage of any device, perhaps as requested by a user. However, some of the usage may be authorized for public disclosure, while other usage may be designated as private and restricted from public disclosure. The public disclosure may permit public ledgering by still other blockchains, thus providing two-way public/private ledgering for improved record keeping. Private usage, though, may only be documented by the personal blockchain.
Blockchain-based trustable guarantees
Disclosed herein are methods, systems, and apparatus for processing blockchain-based guarantee information. One of the methods includes receiving a first cyphertext of a first digital document specifying a guarantee from a first computing device associated with at least a first guarantor and one or more zero-knowledge proofs (ZKPs) related to one or more values associated with the guarantee, and the first digital document specifies one or more predetermined conditions of executing the guarantee; verifying that the one or more ZKPs are correct; storing the first cyphertext to a blockchain based on performing a consensus algorithm; receiving a first message from a second computing device associated with a beneficiary or a representative of the beneficiary.
Device with built-in bill capture, analysis, and execution
Systems and methods for secure and efficient bill capture, analysis, and execution are provided. A method may include capturing, via a camera embedded in a smart card, an image of a bill. The bill may include a plurality of text fields. The method may include processing the text fields via a microprocessor embedded in the smart card. The method may include determining, based at least in part on the processing of the text fields, a balance amount and a payment recipient associated with the bill. The method may also include executing a payment for the balance amount from an account associated with a user of the smart card to an account associated with the payment recipient. The executing may be performed via a wireless communication element embedded in the smart card which may be configured to provide wireless communication between the smart card and a payment gateway.
Contactless message transmission
A system and method uses one or more repurposed data fields in a payment transaction message to pass the merchant consumable data from a mobile device to the merchant system using an existing channel. The merchant consumable data relate to loyalty or rewards.
Methods and systems for smart contracts for security and filtering
A blockchain value transfer method including receiving a transfer request, executing a first smart contract function to perform data analytics on the transfer request and a second smart contract function to implement a security response responsive to compliance with a security criterion, and recording a result of execution of the second smart contract function to at least one of a relational database, a non-relational database, and an analytics service.
Systems and methods for minimizing user interactions for cardholder authentication
A method and system include providing a user interface associated with an issuer of an account; receiving, at the user interface, a request to generate a token associated with a user account; generating at least one token associated with the user account; authenticating one or more elements associated with the user account, wherein authentication may be one of prior to and subsequent to the generation of the at least one token; and receiving the at least one token. Numerous other aspects are provided.
Methods for facilitating funds disbursements and devices thereof
Systems and methods for facilitating a disbursement of funds to a payee are provided. The methods include receiving a payment request from a payor; generating a code, such as barcode, a Quick Response (QR) code, a Near Field Communication (NFC) code, or a textual string, that corresponds to the received payment request; transmitting the generated code to the payee; validating the code when the code is entered into a payment disbursement machine, such as an automated teller machine; and disbursing at least one of the funds and a payment voucher via the payment disbursement machine.
Transaction-enabled systems and methods for royalty apportionment and stacking
Transaction-enabled systems and methods for royalty apportionment and stacking are disclosed. An example system may include a plurality of royalty generating elements (a royalty stack) each related to a corresponding one or more of a plurality of intellectual property (IP) assets (an aggregate stack of IP). The system may further include a royalty apportionment wrapper to interpret IP licensing terms and apportion royalties to a plurality of owning entities corresponding to the aggregate stack of IP in response to the IP licensing terms and a smart contract wrapper. The smart contract wrapper is configured to access a distributed ledger, interpret an IP description value and IP addition request, to add an IP asset to the aggregate stack of IP, and to adjust the royalty stack.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR MANAGING TRANSACTIONS IN DYNAMIC DIGITAL DOCUMENTS
A system software and method which relates to the field of computing technology or business process models or computer systems or distributed computer systems or computer networks relating to general purpose devices that can be programmed to carry out a set of data table or hash table updates, validations or modifications supporting, enabling or executing public and private services, financial transactions and commercial applications. More specifically, the present invention is directed to distributed and decentralized computing in which said distributed network is supported and encrypted by cryptographic technology, hash functions and distributed public or private keys or other related technology. System and methods for managing dynamic electronic documents on a private distributed ledger comprise establishing a dynamic electronic document comprising a first state object, wherein the state object references a prior approved first transaction; proposing a second transaction comprising as an input the first state object and as an output a transaction command to alter the state object as well as what parameters are required to validate the second transaction; validating the proposed second transaction; and updating the state object on a private distributed ledger to reference the second transaction.
USER INTERFACE FOR TRANSACTIONS
The present disclosure generally relates to techniques for managing contextual transactions. In some examples, at a sender electronic device, a first user provides authorization to purchase an item for a second user. In some examples, at a recipient device, the second user selects one or more attributes for the item and requests to claim the item. In some examples, an electronic device displays a representation of an item and a purchase affordance for purchasing the item using a payment system that is available on the electronic device.
