Methods and arrangements for optical code classification
An optical code reader classifies a code depicted in input imagery, so that appropriate decoding actions can be invoked. This classification may identify, e.g., (a) whether the code is of a continuous tone or sparse mark variety, (b) which one of different reference signals it includes, and (c) which one of different protocols is used in expressing reference and payload signal components of the code. A great variety of other features and technologies are detailed as well.
METHOD FOR EMBEDDING USER INFORMATION IN WEBPAGES AND ELECTRONIC DEVICE IMPLEMENTING METHOD
In a method for embedding user information in webpages, user information of a user who logs into a target website is obtained. The user information is converted into color values. The color values are embedded in a target webpage of the target website. If a webpage is leaked, a user who leaks the webpage can be traced.
Method and system for generating watermark on the basis of graphic, terminal, and medium
The invention provides a method and system for generating a watermark on the basis of graphic, a terminal, and a medium. The method includes acquiring a watermark image and at least one watermark unit image; acquiring watermark encryption information; determining the distribution information of the watermark unit images in the watermark image according to the watermark encryption information and a preset encryption model, the distribution information comprising imaging regions of the watermark unit images in the watermark image; and overlaying each watermark unit image into a corresponding imaging region in the watermark image to generate the watermark. The watermark encryption information has a one-to-one corresponding relationship with the distribution information of the watermark unit images in the watermark image, and the corresponding relationship can be defined by a user so that others cannot crack the watermark without knowing the encryption model, thereby improving the watermark cracking difficulty. Moreover, the method can generate the watermark according to the watermark image and the watermark unit images input by the user, and provide personalized customization of the watermark under the function of encryption to improve the user experience.
Systems and methods for digitally watermarking resources produced by an online software platform
Systems and methods electronically uniquely imprint a digital watermark on produced resources, such as on data or electronic documents produced by an online software platform (OSP), in nearly invisible ways that are likely to survive subsequent processing. In one embodiment the OSP stores a plurality of resource digital rules used for producing resources for respective relationship instances of primary entities with other entities; receives a dataset on behalf of a primary entity, in which the dataset includes data representing a relationship instance between the primary entity and a secondary entity; in response to the received dataset, produces a resource based on applying one or more of the plurality of resource digital rules to the dataset; and digitally watermarks the produced resource with a digital watermark such that the produced resource is identifiable via the digital watermark as having been produced by the OSP.
System and method of data transfer in-band in video via optically encoded images
Data are encoded into one or more optically encoded images. The optically encoded images are then inserted as image data into a video sequence—i.e., in video frames. Data are transmitted in-band within the video, via any conceivable video distribution channel or format. The video may be trans-coded as required—because the data are optically encoded, any video processing that even crudely preserves the frame images will preserve the optically encoded data. This scheme of in-band data transfer in video is very robust. A video receiving apparatus receives the video, inspects the image data from video frames in memory, detects optically encoded images in the image data, and decodes the optically encoded images to recover the data. The frames carrying optically encoded images are typically discarded and not rendered to a display. The data from a plurality of optically encoded images may be concatenated, and further processed.
System and method for creating a temporal-based dynamic watermark
Systems and methods for dynamically and automatically generating digital watermarks are provided. Watermark payloads utilized in generating the digital watermarks are altered based upon changing conditions, such as environmental characteristics associated with playback or distribution of media content. Changing conditions may also encompass a change in the distribution/presentation chain of devices associated with the playback or distribution of the media content.
Method for watermarking a machine learning model
A method is provided for watermarking a machine learning model used for object detection or image classification. In the method, a first subset of a labeled set of ML training samples is selected. The first subset is of a predetermined class of images. In one embodiment, the first pixel pattern is selected and sized to have substantially the same dimensions as each sample of the first subset or each bounding box in the case of an object detector. Each sample of the first subset is relabeled to have a different label than the original label. An opacity of the pixel pattern may be adjusted independently for different parts of the pattern. The ML model is trained with the labeled set of ML training samples and the first subset of relabeled ML training samples. Using multiple different opacity factors provides both reliability and credibility to the watermark.
Authenticating identification and security documents and other objects
This patent document discloses physical documents including metameric ink pairs. One claim recites a document comprising: a first surface; a second surface, in which the first surface comprises a first set of print structures and a second set of print structures, in which the first set of print structures and the second set of print structures collective convey an encoded signal discernable from optical scan data representing at least a first portion of the first surface, in which the first set of print structures is provided on the first surface with a first ink and the second set of print structures is provided on the first surface with a second, different ink, and in which the first ink and the second, different ink comprise a metameric pair. Of course, other claims and combinations are described as well.
COLOR MANAGED EMBEDDING SYSTEM FOR EMBEDDING SIGNALS IN COLOR ARTWORK
The present disclosure relates generally to signal encoding for printed objects such as product packaging, labels and hangtags. One implementation obtains a color image representing CMY color channels, and alters the color image to include an encoded signal by altering values representing CIELAB a* and b*, all the while keeping L* on or within a predetermined tolerance of a contour representing a constant value. Other implementations are provided.
SENDER-BASED CONSENT MECHANISM FOR SHARING IMAGES
Control of sending content based on originating party consent is defined at the time content is sent or is pre-defined by the originating party. Metadata and originating party identifiers are attached to files to control sharing functionality at the operating system level and/or the application level. Only files consented to be sent may be shared by a receiving user. When consent is given to share a file, the receiver who subsequently shares the file becomes the controlling sender having authority to consent to further sharing of the file.
