Deconvolution of digital images
A method for deconvolution of digital images includes obtaining a degraded image from a digital sensor, a processor accepting output from the digital sensor and recognizing a distorted element within the image. The distorted element is compared with a true shape of the element to produce a degrading function. The degrading function is deconvolved from at least a portion of the image to improve image quality of the image. A method of indirectly decoding a barcode includes obtaining an image of a barcode using an optical sensor in a mobile computing device, the image comprising barcode marks and a textual character. The textual character is optically recognized and an image degrading characteristic is identified from the textual character. Compensating for the image degrading characteristic renders previously undecodable barcode marks decodable. A system for deconvolution of digital images is also included.

Systems and methods to simulate physical objects occluding virtual objects in an interactive space
A system and method to simulate physical objects occluding virtual objects within an interactive space may obtain output signals conveying three-dimensional positions of surfaces of a user object. The three-dimensional positions may be conveyed in a point cloud. Point cloud images may be obtained from the output signals. An individual point cloud image may depict a two-dimensional representation of the point cloud. A current point cloud image may be aggregated with one or more previous aggregate point cloud images to generate a current aggregate point cloud image. A mesh may be generated based on the current aggregate point cloud image. The mesh may include a set of vertices. The mesh may be generated by assigning individual vertices to individual points in the current aggregate point cloud image.

Signal processors and methods for estimating transformations between signals with phase deviation
A phase deviation method determines an offset between a reference and suspect signal by analyzing a phase deviation surface created by computing a deviation metric for phase shift and then analyzing a surface formed from the deviation metrics for an array of offsets. The phase deviation method analyzes the deviation surface to determine an offset that minimizes phase deviation. This method is applied at increasing levels of detail to refine the determination of the offset.
