Virtual reality streaming
A cloud network server system, a method, and a software program product for experiencing a three-dimensional (3D) model are provided. 3D model data associated with a 3D video game is uploaded to the cloud network server system. The system is used to design for example a computer game that renders non-spatial characteristics such as, smell, reflection and/or refraction of light, wind direction, sound reflection, etc., along with spatial and visibility information associated with 3D objects displayed in the 3D video game. Different versions of the 3D model are created based on memory, streaming bandwidth, and/or processing power requirements of different user terminal computers. Based on a virtual location of a user in the 3D model, parts of at least one version of the 3D model are rendered to the user.
WIRELESS DEVICE
A wireless device supporting Wi-Fi Direct service includes: a display; a communication unit; and a controller configured to cause: transmitting resolution information including a plurality of resolutions that are supported by the wireless device to a second wireless device; receiving an entire image including a first image and a second image from the second wireless device if a resolution of the first image is not one of the plurality of resolutions; displaying the first image by removing the second image from the received entire image when the entire image is received; and receiving the first image from the second wireless device without the second image if the resolution of the first image is included in the resolution information, the second image being an image that is added to the first image such that a resolution of the received entire image corresponds to one of the plurality of resolutions.
EFFICIENT IMAGE TRANSMISSION
A mobile telephone receives, constructs and displays an image from a server over a mobile telephone network. The server determines the parameters for data transfer from the server to the mobile telephone, the capabilities of the mobile telephone, transfer task requirements, and apportions the processing between the server and the mobile telephone for each of a plurality of elements in each image, thereby to meet the task requirement, which can include being within a predetermined time for task completion, or being the fastest means for task completion. Parameters for data transfer from server to telephone include server transmission bandwidth, phone reception bandwidth, data channel bandwidth, transmission protocol, and channel accessibility. Phone capabilities include the data processing speed, the available memory, display size, and the data processing software available; Task requirements include the maximum transmission time and the minimum display resolution of the image.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR HYBRID FORMAT SPATIAL DATA DISTRIBUTION AND RENDERING
Systems and methods are described for providing spatial content using a hybrid format. In some embodiments, a client device receives, from a server, surface light field representations of a plurality of scene elements in a 3D scene, including a first scene element. The client device provides to the server an indication of a dynamic behavior of a second scene element different from the first scene element. Further, in response to the indication, the client device receives from the server information defining the first scene element in a 3D asset format. The client device then renders at least the first scene element in the 3D asset format.
Generating a tree map
A method for generating a tree map for tree map visualization includes obtaining node information of a plurality of nodes to be processed, the plurality of nodes to be processed being sub-nodes sharing a same parent node and the node information comprising at least sizes of the nodes; determining from the plurality of nodes a plurality of candidate nodes whose sizes are less than a threshold size; determining at least one super node including the plurality of candidate nodes based on the node information of the determined plurality of candidate nodes, a screen size, and the threshold size, such that when displaying in a zooming-in mode the super node on the screen, all candidate nodes in the super node are displayed at display sizes not less than the threshold size; and determining data required for displaying the tree map based on the determined super node.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR SYNCHRONOUSLY DISPLAYING CLOUD INFORMATION
A system and method for synchronously displaying cloud information. The system includes a selection module configured for an individual to select a target scene; an initialization module configured to acquire a 3D scene of the target scene; an acquisition module configured to acquire an attribute information of the individual, a 3D scene information of the individual and a real-time motion information of the individual in the 3D scene by time or at the same time; an interaction module configured to perform interaction of information acquired by the acquisition module between different individuals; and a communication module configured to enable communication between different modules. The method includes: (S1) selecting a target scene by an individual; (S2) acquiring a 3D scene of the target scene; (S3) acquiring information by time or at the same time; and (S4) performing interaction of the acquired information between individuals.

During runtime of the frame generation engine, the frame extractor exports the frame data for use external to the frame generation engine.
