AVATAR GENERATION METHOD, APPARATUS AND DEVICE, AND MEDIUM
An avatar method, apparatus and device, and a medium are provided. The method includes: acquiring a target image in response to a user input; and obtaining an avatar corresponding to the target image by using a first generator; the first generator being trained and obtained on the basis of a first sample image set and a second sample image set generated by a three-dimensional model. In the present disclosure, by using the first generator, the generation method for an avatar is effectively simplified, thus improving generation efficiency, and avatars in one-to-one correspondence to target image can be generated, so that the avatars are more diversified. Additionally, the first generator is easy to deploy in various production environments, thus reducing the performance requirements on hardware devices.
METHOD, APPARATUS, AND SYSTEM FOR GENERATING POSTURE VIRTUAL IMAGE, AND VIRTUAL REALITY DEVICE
Disclosed are a method, an apparatus, and a system for generating a posture virtual image, and a virtual reality device, to resolve a technical problem that the virtual image generated based on the prior art is not realistic enough. A method for generating a posture virtual image of a user includes: separately obtaining initial images of key regions of a first part of a user; extracting position information of feature points from the initial images; integrating the initial images according to position information to generate a first part image; and generating a virtual image according to the first part image. The initial images of the plurality of key regions can represent the first part of the user accurately, thereby a real feature of the first part of the user is accurately presented, and a real-time experience of the user during interaction is improved.
Custom-made artificial nipple
An artificial nipple is formed of an elastomeric polymer by use of 3D printing after imaging of a mother's breast in an active state of lactation. The artificial nipple used as an attachment to a baby bottle or as the nipple component of a pacifier. Use of an artificial nipple formed in this manner mitigates a problem with nipple confusion, as may otherwise manifest in newborn offspring.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR ANIMATED EMOJI RECORDING AND PLAYBACK
Systems and methods for managing an animated emoji playback are provided. In particular, a server may monitor user interactions, wherein the user interactions include users interacting with objects of other users. The server may detect an action performed by a first user of the users on an object of a second user of the users and determine if the detected action is a triggering action defined by the second user that triggers a playback of an animated emoji of the second user. In response to determining that the detected action is the triggering action, the server may preset the playback of the animated emoji of the second user to the first user.
User Representations in Artificial Reality
The disclosed technology can execute rules for an ambient avatar to perform physical interactions based on a status of a represented user and/or a context of a viewing user. The disclosed technology can further evaluate and select movement points that support avatar movement in an artificial reality environment. The disclosed technology can yet further detect trigger conditions and transition a user presence in a shared communication session. And the disclosed technology can generate stylized 3D avatars from 2D images.
Virtual, augmented, or mixed reality device
A portable virtual, augmented, or mixed reality device, including: a mount intended to be worn on a user's head; a display screen attached to the mount and intended to be arranged in front of one of the user's eyes; a plurality of ultrasound transducers attached to the mount; and a control circuit configured to control the display screen to display images, and the ultrasound transducers to generate, in air, at a distance from the mount, a pressure distribution detectable by the user's hand to obtain a haptic effect.
Facial features tracker with advanced training for natural rendering of human faces in real-time
Tracking units for facial features with advanced training for natural rendering of human faces in real-time are provided. An example device receives a video stream, and upon detecting a visual face, selects a 3D model from a comprehensive set of head orientation classes. The device determines modifications to the selected 3D model to describe the face, then projects a 2D model of tracking points of facial features based on the 3D model, and controls, actuates, or animates hardware based on the facial features tracking points. The device can switch among an example comprehensive set of 35 different head orientation classes for each video frame, based on suggestions computed from a previous video frame or from yaw and pitch angles of the visual head orientation. Each class of the comprehensive set is trained separately based on a respective collection of automatically marked images for that head orientation class.
System and method for generating acupuncture points on reconstructed 3D human body model for physical therapy
System and method for generating acupuncture points on reconstructed 3D human body mesh for physical treatment are disclosed. The computing device obtains a first two-dimensional image of a human subject that captures at least a predefined portion of the human subject; processes the first two-dimensional image of the first human subject using a trained human body recovery model to obtain a plurality of parameters representing a three-dimensional human body mesh with corresponding acupuncture points. The trained human body recovery model includes an iterative three-dimensional regression module that is supervised by a discriminator and that minimizes a combined loss below a preset threshold. The combined loss includes a discriminator error that provides a measure of whether the obtained three-dimensional human body mesh with corresponding acupuncture points correspond to real human shape, pose, and acupuncture points.
Methods and systems for evaluating a size of a garment
A method for determining a size of a garment, comprising: receiving an image comprising a representation of the garment and a representation of a reference element, the reference element having a predefined shape and predefined dimensions; identifying the representation of the garment within the received image; identifying the representation of the reference element within the received image; determining first dimensions of the representation of the reference element within the received image and second dimensions of the representation of the garment within the received image; determining real dimensions of the garment using the first dimensions of the representation of the reference element within the received image, the second dimensions of the representation of the garment within the received image and the predefined dimensions of the reference element; and outputting the real dimensions of the garment.
Output of virtual content
This specification describes an apparatus, method and computer program relating to virtual reality, particularly augmented reality (AR) or mixed reality (MR). The method may comprise providing, based on a position associated with a display means, different first and second sets of virtual content for overlaid display at the display means at a first time and determining that the first set of virtual content is prioritized over the second set of virtual content. Based on the determination, the method may comprise prioritizing display of the first set of virtual content over the second set of virtual content at the display means, and enabling display of the second set of virtual content at a second, subsequent, time.
