Generation of digital 3D models of body surfaces with automatic feature identification
A computer system obtains at least one 3D scan of a body surface; automatically identifies, based on the at least one 3D scan, one or more features (e.g., nose, lips, eyes, eyebrows, cheekbones, or specific portions thereof, or other features) of the body surface; and generates a digital 3D model of the body surface. The digital 3D model includes the identified features of the human body surface. In an embodiment, the step of generating of the digital 3D model is based on the at least one 3D scan and the identified features of the body surface. In an embodiment, the digital 3D model comprises a 3D mesh file. The digital 3D model can be used in various ways. For example, output of a manufacturing process (e.g., a 3D printed item, a cosmetics product, a personal care product) can be based on the digital 3D model.
THREE-DIMENSIONAL VIRTUAL IMAGE DISPLAY METHOD AND APPARATUS, TERMINAL, AND STORAGE MEDIUM
A three-dimensional virtual image display method is provided for a terminal. The method includes obtaining a first model map and a second model map of a three-dimensional virtual image, and determining a target region of the three-dimensional virtual image. The three-dimensional virtual image comprises a first model and a second model, and the target region is a joining region of the first model and the second model. The method also includes setting brightness of each pixel point in the target region in a shader to be a same value, the shader being configured to set illumination environmental data of each pixel point in the three-dimensional virtual image and the illumination environmental data at least comprising the brightness; and rendering the first model map and the second model map through the shader, so that a brightness of each pixel point in the target region displayed after rendering is equal.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR MARKING AND DISPLAYING SPATIAL SIZE IN VIRTUAL THREE-DIMENSIONAL HOUSE MODEL
The present disclosure provides a method and an apparatus for automatically generating and displaying a relevant dimension in a virtual three-dimensional house model. The method includes: acquiring a plane layout and a three-dimensional house model of a single house; aligning a top view or a cross-sectional view of the three-dimensional house model with the plane layout to obtain a correspondence relationship between a unit length of the three-dimensional house model and a unit pixel of the plane layout; calculating a real length corresponding to the unit length of the three-dimensional house model according to the correspondence relationship; and calculating a real dimension of a room and/or an object in the house according to the real length corresponding to the unit length of the three-dimensional house model for the purpose of presentation.
MULTIPLE USERS DYNAMICALLY EDITING A SCENE IN A THREE-DIMENSIONAL IMMERSIVE ENVIRONMENT
Techniques configured to enable multiple users to dynamically and concurrently edit a scene that is viewable in a three-dimensional immersive environment are described herein. The techniques use region locking so that content being edited by one user viewing and editing the scene in a three-dimensional immersive environment cannot be edited by another user concurrently viewing and editing the same scene in the three-dimensional immersive environment. Accordingly, a scene can be divided into multiple regions that can be locked to provide an element of protection against user interference that can result when two users are editing, or attempting to edit, the same content.
CHANGING TACTILE SENSITIVITY OF INTERACTIONS WITH MIDAIR INTERFACES
A reflection is captured of a subsonic signal reflected by a contact surface. The contact surface is contacting a simulated surface of an object projected from a midair interface (MAI) device. A difference between the subsonic signal and the reflection is converted into a measurement of a flow in the contact surface. When the measurement is in a range of measurements, a change is caused in a temperature of a volume of a medium, the simulated surface being projected in volume of the medium, where the change in the temperature causes a second change in the flow in the contact surface.
Three-dimensional image space transformation
A three-dimensional image transformation, executing on one or more computer systems, can mathematically transform a first two-dimensional image space onto a second two-dimensional image space using a three-dimensional image space. The three-dimensional image transformation can project the three-dimensional image space onto the first two-dimensional image space to map the first two-dimensional image space to the three-dimensional image space. Thereafter, the three-dimensional image transformation can project the second two-dimensional image space onto the three-dimensional image space to map the three-dimensional image space to the second two-dimensional image space.
Control of a device with respect to its numerical model
Method and system of simple, precise, rapid and automatic control to verify fit between a manufactured device and its digital mock-up modelling it beforehand. The system includes a scanner configured to produce a three-dimensional cloud of points representative of the device, as well as a processor and a memory configured to superpose the cloud of points on the digital mock-up, coordinate the cloud of points with polychrome images captured during the scanning of the device and stored in a memory, disperse the cloud of points into several sets of points, each set of points corresponding to an object identified in the polychrome images, establish a correspondence between the sets of points and nodes of a treelike structure identifying the digital mock-up, and evaluate a fit between the cloud of points and the digital mock-up by analyzing the correspondence between the sets of points and the nodes of the treelike structure.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR SPATIO-DATA COORDINATION
The invention is directed to spatio-data coordination (SD coordination) which defines the mapping of user actions in physical space into the space of data in a visualisation. SD coordination is intended to lower the user's cognitive load when exploring complex multi-dimensional data such as biomedical data, multiple data attributes vs time in a space-time-cube visualisation, or three-dimensional projections of three-or-higher-dimensional data sets.
METHOD AND DEVICE FOR MEASURING FEATURES ON OR NEAR AN OBJECT
A method and device for measuring dimensions of a feature on or near an object using a video inspection device. A reference surface is determined based on reference surface points on the surface of the object. One or more measurement cursors are placed on measurement pixels of an image of the object. Projected reference surface points associated with the measurement pixels on the reference surface are determined. The dimensions of the feature can be determined using the three-dimensional coordinates of at least one of the projected reference surface points.
IMAGE PROCESSING APPARATUS, IMAGE PROCESSING METHOD, AND RECORDING MEDIUM
The present disclosure relates to an image processing apparatus and an image processing method as well as a recording medium by which distribution of content that can be displayed from a free viewpoint can be performed favorably in real time. A deciding unit estimates, in a case where, according to a result of comparison in corresponding relation between multiple pieces of joint information of an imaging target estimated from a captured image and multiple pieces of character model joint information of a desired character model, the multiple pieces of joint information and the multiple pieces of character model joint information are incoincident at least in part thereof, the character model joint information having no corresponding relation with the multiple pieces of joint information and decides all of the pieces of character model joint information. A posture estimation unit estimates a posture of the whole body of the character model, by using as an initial position, the decided character model joint information. The present technology can be applied, for example, to a distribution system that performs real time free viewpoint distribution.
