Method to verify identity using a previously collected biometric image/data
A system for remote identity verification including a computing device configured to capture a first image of the user a first distance and capture a second image at a second distance and then processing the images to create one or more facemaps. The facemaps are processed to verify that the images were captured from a live person. If the facemaps represents a live person, the facemaps and a user identifying code are sent to a trusted image server. The rusted image server configured to, using the user ID code, retrieve a trusted image from a database and generate a trusted image facemaps. Then, compare captured image facemaps to the trusted image facemaps. Responsive to a match between the captured image facemaps and the trusted image facemaps, send a message to the computing device, a third-party server, or both providing notice of the match.
Fingerprint encryption method and device, fingerprint decryption method and device, storage medium and terminal
Fingerprint encryption method and device, fingerprint decryption method and device, storage medium and terminal are provided. The fingerprint encryption method includes: acquiring a fingerprint image; dividing the fingerprint image into a plurality of block images according to a preset window, wherein a size of the block image is the same with a size of the preset window; determining identifiers of the plurality of block images, wherein the identifiers of the plurality of block images have a first preset order; and determining, according to the identifiers of the plurality of block images and a received encryption order, a plurality of encrypted block images to obtain an encrypted fingerprint image. Security of fingerprint storage or fingerprint transmission is enhanced.
Enrollment with an automated assistant
Techniques are described herein for dialog-based enrollment of individual users for single- and/or multi-modal recognition by an automated assistant, as well as determining how to respond to a particular user's request based on the particular user being enrolled and/or recognized. Rather than requiring operation of a graphical user interface for individual enrollment, dialog-based enrollment enables users to enroll themselves (or others) by way of a human-to-computer dialog with the automated assistant.

SELF-SERVICE TERMINAL AND METHOD FOR OPERATING A SELF-SERVICE TERMINAL
A self-service terminal (100) and a method (300, 600) for operating a self-service terminal are disclosed, wherein the self-service terminal (100) comprises: an imaging device (102), configured for providing at least one digital image (104); at least one processor (110), configured for: determining whether the at least one digital image (104) comprises a face of a person; if the at least one digital image (104) comprises the face of the person, cutting out from the at least one digital image (104) an image region which comprises the face of the person; and a storage device (108), configured for storing the image region.

FINGERPRINT-BASED ENROLMENT ON A CHIP CARD
The disclosure relates to an enrolment method carried out by a smart card using an internal or external electrical power supply, comprising: determining an applied mode among a first and second mode in which the electrical power supply is respectively below and above a predefined threshold; obtaining of N fingerprints in the form of image pixels, N being an integer greater than or equal to 2; extracting digital data representative of characteristic points of the fingerprints by a reading of the pixels at a predetermined resolution level; and generating a fingerprint template by aggregation of the digital data, the enrolment further comprising: determining based on the applied mode of at least one among the number N and the resolution level, so that the fingerprint template has a higher definition in the second mode than in the first mode.

Systems, devices and methods for managing a fingerprint sensor
Some disclosed methods may involve receiving an indication of a digit touching a surface of an apparatus in an active fingerprint sensor area, obtaining current fingerprint image data from the digit and performing a first authentication process based, at least in part, on the current fingerprint image data. Responsive to determining that the first authentication process is an unsuccessful authentication process, some methods may involve obtaining non-digit image data after the digit has been removed from the surface, performing a second authentication process based, at least in part, on the non-digit image data and providing a notification regarding the outcome of the second authentication process. In some examples, the non-digit image data may be obtained and the second authentication process may be performed without providing a notification regarding the unsuccessful outcome of the first authentication process.
