Randomized multi-fingerprint authentication
Some disclosed methods involve randomly or pseudo-randomly selecting one fingerprint authentication case from a plurality of fingerprint authentication cases stored in a memory, each of the fingerprint authentication cases corresponding to one or more fingerprints used during an authentication process, the fingerprint authentication cases including a plurality of multiple-fingerprint authentication cases for which two or more fingerprints are used during the authentication process. Upon determining that the selected fingerprint authentication case is a multiple-fingerprint authentication case, some methods involve controlling a display system to provide a multiple-fingerprint authentication graphical user interface (GUI) indicating at least two digit placement areas corresponding with a fingerprint sensor system area of a fingerprint sensor system, controlling the fingerprint sensor system to obtain fingerprint sensor data corresponding to each of the at least two digit placement areas and performing the authentication process based, at least in part, on the fingerprint sensor data.

METHOD FOR SELF-MEASURING FACIAL OR CORPORAL DIMENSIONS, NOTABLY FOR THE MANUFACTURING OF PERSONALIZED APPLICATORS
Method for self-measuring dimensions of an area of keratinous materials of a user, preferably for use in the manufacturing of a personalized applicator for applying a cosmetic product, to said area of keratinous materials, the method using a mobile image capture device, and a minor, at least one characteristic dimension of said mobile image capture device being known beforehand, the method comprising: a) said mobile image capture device is placed in a predetermined position with respect to said area to be measured and in front of the minor, b) at least one image comprising said area to be measured and at least a part of said mobile image capture device is captured in the minor by said device, and c) from said at least one image, several landmark points delimiting the area to be measured are detected in order to measure at least one dimension of the area by using at least said at least one characteristic dimension of the mobile image capture device.
SYSTEM, METHOD AND COMPUTER PROGRAM PRODUCT FOR EFFECTIVE DOCUMENT CAPTURE E.G. DURING ONBOARDING
A system supporting identity verification for an end-user, the system including a hardware processor configured for sending a link, which directs an end-user to a software functionality, such as but not limited to a web application, native app/native sdk, web app desktop, web sdk, which is operative for end-user identity verification, to an end-user's mobile phone, thereby to open an identity verification session when the end-user clicks on the link; and wherein data is elicited from the end-user via the software functionality activated by the end-user's clicking on the link. Typically the software functionality processes at least one image captured by at least one end-user's cellphone during the session or in real time or near real time, and for at least one image so captured, detects, and communicates to the end-user that the image is of unsatisfactory quality.
METHOD FOR THE PHYSICAL, IN PARTICULAR OPTICAL, DETECTION OF AT LEAST ONE USAGE OBJECT
Disclosed is a method for the physical, in particular optical, detection of at least one usage object. The method includes the step of carrying out at least one physical detection process, for example by a user and/or an implementation device, in particular of at least one photograph, of the usage object, so that the usage object may be detected in such a way that an image of the usage object as detected during the detection process is shown at the same time as the database object shown on the screen in an identical manner or in a manner identical to scale, wherein as a result of the detection process, the usage object is associated with at least one usage object class, for example a vehicle type, by the processing unit and/or the CPU and/or the user.
AUTOMATED THREE DIMENSIONAL MODEL GENERATION
In various example embodiments, a system and methods are presented for generation and manipulation of three dimensional (3D) models. The system and methods cause presentation of an interface frame encompassing a field of view of an image capture device. The systems and methods detect an object of interest within the interface frame, generate a movement instruction with respect to the object of interest, and detect a first change in position and a second change in position of the object of interest. The systems and methods generate a 3D model of the object of interest based on the first change in position and the second change in position.
Electronic Devices and Corresponding Methods for Unlocking Displays as a Function of a Device Geometric Form Factor
One or more sensors of an electronic device detect a geometric form factor of the electronic device. A fingerprint sensor situated beneath a first display of the electronic device receives fingerprint data. One or more processors authenticate an authorized user of the electronic device using the fingerprint data with one or more processors. The one or more processors select between the first display and a second display of the electronic device as a function of the geometric form factor and unlock the selected display in response to authenticating the authorized user of the electronic device.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR RADIOGRAPHIC EVALUATION OF A NODULE FOR MALIGNANT SENSITIVITY
Systems and methods of guiding a clinician in a medical procedure for a nodule involve receiving three-dimensional (3D) image data, generating a volumetric vector map based on the 3D image data, and displaying the volumetric vector map in a way, e.g., via a heat map, that assists a clinician in performing a medical procedure. The systems and methods involve identifying volumetric parameters of the nodule in the 3D image data, generating a voxel map based on the volumetric parameters, identifying a maximum attenuation value in the 3D space of the voxel map, applying a differential equation, e.g., a gradient, to the 3D space of the voxel map from a voxel with the maximum attenuation value to other voxels within the voxel map, and generating a volumetric vector map based on the result of applying the differential equation.
