Automated image processing and insight presentation

Systems, methods, devices, computer readable instruction media, and other embodiments are described for automated image processing and insight presentation. One embodiment involves receiving a plurality of ephemeral content messages from a plurality of client devices, and processing the messages to identify content associated with at least a first content type. A set of analysis data associated with the first content type is then generated from the messages, and portions of the messages associated with the first content type are processed to generate a first content collection. The first content collection and the set of analysis data are then communicated to a client device configured for a display interface comprising the first content collection and a representation of at least a portion of the set of analysis data.

Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to a cooking appliance using artificial intelligence and an operation method thereof. The artificial intelligence cooking appliance may include: a driving device for cooking a product to be cooked; an image sensor configured to obtain an image related to the product to be cooked; and at least one processor connected operatively to the driving device and the image sensor. The at least one processor may control the cooking appliance to obtain the image related to the product to be cooked, to obtain cooking information of the product to be cooked, on the basis of the image, and to cook the product to be cooked, on the basis of the cooking information.

SYSTEM AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING A MEDICAL IMPLANT
20220327679 · 2022-10-13 ·

A system and method for forming a medical implant using a printing device. The printing device includes a print head having a heated nozzle, a heated build plate for receiving the printed material thereon, and a reflective plate having an active heater. A method for forming a medical device includes extruding a printing material by contiguous deposition to form a porous object having a lattice-like structure. The medical device, such as a spinal implant, may have interconnected pores and different regions, each having a different porosity for encouraging bone growth therein. The printed medical implant may be designed to be patient-specific, customized, and printed on-demand.

Prioritized device actions triggered by device scan data

Systems, methods, devices, server computers, storage media, and instructions for prioritized device action triggered by device scan data are described. In one embodiment, a mobile device performs a method that involves executing a messaging application with an image capture interface and a scanning input. An associated scanning mode comprises capture of scan data from a plurality of input/output modules of the first client device, analyzes the scan data to identify one or more scan data patterns by matching at least a portion of the scan data against a set of data patterns, and selects a priority system action based on the results of the matching of the portion of the scan data against the set of data patterns. In some embodiments, the priority system action is selected based on a priority ranking for identified scan data types.

OPTICAL RECEIPT PROCESSING

Techniques for providing improved optical character recognition (OCR) for receipts are discussed herein. Some embodiments may provide for a system including one or more servers configured to perform receipt image cleanup, logo identification, and text extraction. The image cleanup may include transforming image data of the receipt by using image parameters values that optimize the logo identification, and performing logo identification using a comparison of the image data with training logos associated with merchants. When a merchant is identified, a second image clean up may be performed by using image parameter values optimized for text extraction. A receipt structure may be used to categorize the extracted text. Improved OCR accuracy is also achieved by applying on format rules of the receipt structure to the extracted text.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR CONTENT RECOGNITION AND DATA CATEGORIZATION
20230111437 · 2023-04-13 ·

A system and method for decentralizing data and determining performance of different entities in multiple geographical and categorical markets whereby the system may determine complimentary entities to a user's entities or other existing entities for presentation to the user of overlapping procurements and demographics to gather a deeper understanding into the same results yielded by their competition whereby users will be able to provide more personal experiences for each consumer, as well as achieve pricing discovery, greater brand awareness, and marketing strategy.

SEMANTICALLY-GUIDED TEMPLATE GENERATION FROM IMAGE CONTENT

Techniques for template generation from image content includes extracting information associated with an input image. The information comprises: 1) layout information indicating positions of content corresponding to a content type of a plurality of content types within the input image; and 2) text attributes indicating at least a font of text included in the input image. A user-editable template having the characteristics of the input image is generated based on the layout information and the text attributes

AUTOMATED PALLET PROFILING

Systems and methods for profiling a pallet in a warehouse can include a turntable that rotates the pallet, conveyor belts that move the pallet, and a vertical profiling structure, having cameras mounted at different locations, in a stationary position proximate to a side of the turntable. A photo booth can also be used to provide uniform lighting. A computing system can instruct a conveyor belt to automatically route the pallet onto the turntable, instruct the cameras to capture image data of the pallet as it rotates on the turntable, receive the image data, and retrieve image-based models of the pallet that were trained using images of pallets having unique identifiers. The computing system can determine, based on applying the image-based models to the image data, whether the pallet's unique identifier is identifiable, and transmit, to a warehouse management system, a notification indicating whether the unique identifier is identifiable.

Targeted alerts for food product recalls

A system and associated method may utilize a processor that receives recall product instance group (RPIG) information (RPIGI) identifying a set of instances of products having a product type identifier (PTI) that are a subject of a product recall. The processor receives, from an imaging device associated with a user, an image containing a product instance. The method further comprises applying a classifier and determining a PTI. Based on the image, secondary product information is also identified. These may be compared with the RPIGI to determine a product instance membership. Information related to the product instance membership in the RPIG may be displayed.

Rendering of Object Data Based on Recognition and/or Location Matching

A system described herein uses data obtained from a wearable device of a first user to identify a second user and/or to determine that the first user is within a threshold distance of the second user. The system can then access an account of the second user to identify one or more items and retrieve model data for the item(s). The system causes the wearable device of the first user to render, for display in an immersive 3D environment (e.g., an augmented reality environment), an item associated with the account of the second user. The item can be rendered for display at a location on a display that is proximate to the second user (e.g., within a threshold distance of the second user) such that the item graphically corresponds to the second user. The item rendered for display may be an item of interest to the first user.
