A METHOD OF PROVIDING FEEDBACK DATA INDICATING QUALITY OF FOOD PROCESSING PERFORMED BY AN OPERATOR

A method and a system provide a feedback data indicating quality of a food processing performed by an operator. The method and system involve acquiring at least one image data of a food product from an operator; and processing the acquired image data. The processing includes detecting whether undesired objects are present in the food product, obtaining, in case undesired objects are detected, position data of the undesired objects within the food product, and utilizing the position data in issuing a feedback indicator indicating a position where the detected undesired objects are present within the food product processed by the operator.

SYSTEMS, DEVICES, AND METHODS FOR OBJECT QUALITY MONITORING

A technique for monitoring the quality of objects is disclosed. A container includes a multiple sensors and is configured to receive an object. The sensors monitor various metrics associated with the quality of the object, and a display is affixed to the container for displaying a visual indication of the quality of the object. The visual indication is based on data collected from the sensors. A quality monitoring module is executed by a processor to control the sensors to switch operation between a first mode of operation and a second mode of operation based on a detected change in one of the metrics monitored by the sensors.

Methods for managing operational data associated with connected devices based on policy

This disclosure relates to the analysis of data generated by one or more connected systems and devices. Operational data obtained by one or more connected devices and/or systems, such as a connected thermostat and/or wind turbine system, may be used to detect and/or predict impending failures and/or suboptimal performance. By detecting and/or predicting anomalous system and device performance, various actions may be taken to improve system and device performance and mitigate failure conditions.

System and method for mechanical transmission control

A method of controlling an operation of a mechanical transmission system includes receiving motor-load data corresponding to the mechanical transmission system. The method further includes receiving, by a digital motor unit, one or more motor input parameters and generating motor parameter estimates of one or more of the plurality of motor parameters. The method also includes receiving, by a digital load unit, one or more motor parameter estimates from the digital motor unit and generating load parameter estimates corresponding to one or more load parameters. The digital motor unit and the digital load unit is a real-time operational model of the motor unit and the load unit respectively. The method also includes controlling the operation of the mechanical transmission system based on one or more of the motor-load data, motor parameter estimates and load parameter estimates.

Program and variable change analysis

Methods and systems include ways to implement change analysis of an automated production line including at least one robot. Monitoring a plurality of operating parameters associated with the automated production line including the at least one robot followed by recording at least one change to the plurality of operating parameters. A notification is then provided identifying the at least one change to the plurality of operating parameters. The notification can include mapping the at least one change onto a graphical representation of the automated production line, thereby identifying a portion of the automated production line affected by the at least one change. As a result, at least one of the operating parameters can be adjusted in response to the notification. An action can also be performed in response to the notification. In this manner, the change analysis can optimize operation of the automated production line.

A plant or refinery may include equipment such as condensers, regenerators, distillation columns, rotating equipment, compressors, pumps, turbines, or the like. Different operating methods may impact deterioration in equipment condition, thereby prolonging equipment life, extending production operating time, or providing other benefits. Mechanical or digital sensors may be used for monitoring equipment to determine whether problems are developing. For example, sensors may be used in conjunction with one or more system components to perform invariant mapping, monitor system operating characteristics, and/or predict pressure, volume, surges, reactor loop fouling, gas quality, or the like. An operating condition (e.g., of one or more pieces of equipment in the plant or refinery) may be adjusted to prolong equipment life or avoid equipment failure.
