ELECTRONIC SAFETY FUNCTION LOCK-UNLOCK SYSTEM
An electronic safety function lock-unlock system includes a human-machine interface (HMI) device. The HMI device includes a touchscreen display for touch input and one or more cameras for capturing gesture input data and operator facial image data. The HMI device is operatively connected to a power switch unit or similar device for selectively interrupting conduction of electrical power to industrial equipment for safety. An operator initiates a lock operation with respect to the equipment using first touchscreen or first gesture input to perform a lock operation to disconnect the industrial equipment from electrical power. An operator initiates an unlock operation or condition (to remove a lock condition) with respect to the equipment using second touchscreen input or second gesture input. The HMI optionally require vocal confirmation from an operator of a requested lock or unlock operation. The HMI can compare a captured image of the operator's face to a database of authorized facial images to determine if the operator is authorized to initiate a lock operation and initiates the lock operation only if the operator is authorized. The power switch unit is set to conduct electrical power to the industrial equipment only if the number of active lock conditions equals zero.
Proximity detection system for request processing
A request is processed by a control device based on a detected proximity of a client device to the control device. The control device, which is intermediate to the client device and a beacon device, runs application software that receives the request generated using a client application running at the client device. The beacon device, upon receipt of an indication that the control device received the request, transmits a signal to detect a proximity of the client device to the control device. The application software receives data indicative of a response to the signal from the beacon device. The application software allows the request upon a determination that the data reflects the response is received. Alternatively, the application software allows the request upon a determination that the data indicates that the proximity of the client device to the control device satisfies a threshold.
Touchless motion sensor systems for performing directional detection and for providing access control
A touchless motion sensor system for performing directional motion detection includes first and second touchless motion sensors. First and second sensing units are coupled to the first and second touchless motion sensors each having a sensing unit disable input, a sensing unit disable output, a sensing unit to sensing unit motion detected output, and motion logic. The first sensing unit disable output is coupled to the second sensing unit disable input, and the second sensing unit disable output is coupled to the first sensing unit disable input.
MECHANISMS, ASSEMBLIES AND ELECTRONIC LOCKING SYSTEM
Release mechanism for an electronic locking system, wherein the release mechanism is configured such that an input member and an output member are locked against relative rotation and can rotate together within a locking ring opening when a locking member is located in an input member recess and in an output member recess, and such that the output member is released to rotate relative to the input member when the locking member is located in the output member recess and in a locking ring recess. A freewheel mechanism and assemblies for an electronic locking system are also provided.
DELIVERY SYSTEM
A delivery vehicle is configured to be able to deliver a package in front of a front door of a dwelling unit in a complex housing including a shared door with automatic lock function that is able to be opened as unlock information is input to an unlock input unit of an entrance via wireless communication. When the delivery vehicle arrives at the complex housing including the shared door with automatic lock function, and a delivery instruction for leaving the package in front of the front door is made, an on-board unit of the delivery vehicle inputs the unlock information to the unlock input unit via the wireless communication, and notifies a terminal device of a user of input date and time.
Systems and methods for synchronizing delivery of related parcels via computerized locker bank
A synchronized delivery system for delivering parcels directly to an alternate delivery location such as a locker bank in lieu of making any delivery attempt at a primary delivery location such as a home or office. The system may deliver parcels directly to the alternate delivery location when a related parcel is currently stored at the alternate delivery location awaiting pickup. A related parcel may include a parcel addressed to the same consignee, to a related consignee (e.g., such as a neighbor, roommate, or spouse), or to another authorized to pick up parcels on behalf of the consignee. When delivering parcels to alternate deliver locations, the system may facilitate a grouping of related parcels in a single locker.
Method for preventing accident performed by home appliance and cloud server using artificial intelligence
Provided is a method for preventing an accident related to children or pets that may occur by a home appliance using artificial intelligence. According to the present disclosure, the method for preventing the accident comprises comparing a distance between the home appliance and a generation position of the voice signal and a reference distance when the generation position of the voice signal is outside of the home appliance. Then, the present disclosure enables switching a door of the home appliance to a lock state when a distance between the home appliance and the generation position of the voice signal is less than the reference distance. Thus, the present disclosure may enable controlling the home appliance to prevent children or pets from entering an inside of the home appliance.
SYSTEM AND METHOD USING WIRELESS LATCHING RELAY FOR VEHICLE SHARING
A system and method for controlling a transmission of electrical signals in a vehicle wiring harness (12) of a vehicle (10). The system includes: a vehicle sharing control unit (14) including a controller (16) and a transmitter (18) for transmitting wirelessly vehicle sharing control signals (20); a wireless latching relay (22) including a receiver (24) configured for receiving the vehicle sharing control signals (20) from the transmitter (18), and a latching relay (26). In use, the vehicle wiring harness (12) is cut to define first and second ends (28, 30), and the first and second ends (28, 30) are connected in series with the latching relay (26).
Apparatus, method and storage medium
Provided is an apparatus comprising: a detection unit configured to detect a state of an electric lock provided at a doorway; a first monitoring camera arranged on the inside of the doorway; a judging unit configured to judge, at a reference time of day, whether the electric lock is locked; and a sending unit configured to send image data captured by the first monitoring camera or location information of the image data to a destination corresponding to the electric lock, when the electric lock is not locked at the reference time of day.
System and a method for applying augmented reality technique to audits
Aspects of the invention are directed towards a system and a method for applying augmented reality technique to audits related to a device. One or more embodiments of the invention describe a method comprising steps of receiving audits from a first device by a second device over a communication channel, the audits associated with one or more components of the first device. The method further comprises steps of analyzing the audits by the second device to generate an audit report of a status of each of the one or more components and generating an augmented reality image for the one or more components by the second device based on a pre-generated image, the augmented reality image exhibiting as a status in the audit report of the one or more components of the first device.
