Access control system
An access control system which relies at least in part on a non-networked path for permitting an entity access to a secured location; the entity identified by the system by means of a unique entity identifier accorded the entity; entry to said secured location secured by a barrier; said barrier identified by the system by means of a unique barrier identifier accorded the barrier; said system including a local access unit located local to the barrier; said system including a barrier controller for actuation of the barrier; said local access unit issuing an open signal to the barrier controller whereby the barrier permits the entity access to the secured location if and only if data contained in a token communicated from an un-trusted communications device to the local access unit is verified by the local access unit with respect to at least a first parameter by the local access unit.
Apparatus and method for door control
In example implementations, a method is provided. The method includes determining, by a processor, that a vehicle is approaching a door of a building based on a velocity vector of the vehicle, calculating, by the processor, a time of arrival of the vehicle at the door based on the velocity vector of the vehicle and a distance of the vehicle from the door, and controlling, by the processor, the door to begin opening at a time based on the time of arrival and an amount of time for the door to open such that the door is opened when the vehicle arrives at the door.

GATE APPARATUS, CONTROL METHOD OF GATE APPARATUS, AND STORAGE MEDIUM
A gate apparatus includes a detection unit, an alert unit, and a gate control unit. The detection unit detects whether there is an object in a baggage placement area. The alert unit gives, if there is the object in the baggage placement area, an alert about left-behind baggage. The gate control unit controls, if there is the object in the baggage placement area, a gate such that an examination target user cannot pass through the gate.
GATE APPARATUS
A gate apparatus includes a supporting portion, a first light, and a camera device. The support portion is an element that extends vertically upward from a main body of the gate apparatus. The first light is installed in a ceiling portion attached to the supporting portion. The camera device is a device that is attached to the supporting portion and that acquires biological information of a user. The camera device acquires biological information of the user when the first light 102 is illuminating light.
GATE APPARATUS, GATE APPARATUS CONTROL METHOD, AND STORAGE MEDIUM
A gate apparatus includes a determination unit, a fingerprint authentication unit, and a gate control unit. The determination unit determines a nationality of an examination target user. The fingerprint authentication unit obtains a fingerprint of the examination target user if the nationality of the examination target user is a first country and performs fingerprint authentication using the obtained fingerprint. The gate control unit controls a gate to allow the examination target user of the first nationality to pass through if the fingerprint authentication of the examination target user is successful.

GATE APPARATUS, MANAGEMENT SERVER, EMIGRATION AND IMMIGRATION EXAMINATION SYSTEM,AND EMIGRATION AND IMMIGRATION EXAMINATION METHOD
There is provided a gate apparatus that contributes to efficiency of an immigration examination system. The gate apparatus includes a communication unit, and a switching unit. The communication unit communicates with a management server, which calculates a ratio of users of a first nationality in a total number of users undergoing emigration and immigration examination and determines an operating mode of a gate apparatus based on the calculated ratio of users. The switching unit switches an operating mode for emigration and immigration examination of an examination target user to the operating mode determined by the management server.

Guidance acquisition device, guidance acquisition method, and program
Face image data is acquired and a face image is captured, and a difference between a face image indicated by the face image data and the face image that is captured or a candidate of the difference is detected on the basis of at least one of the face image indicated by the face image data that is acquired, and the face image that is captured. Guidance is acquired on the basis of the difference or the candidate of the difference which is detected, and an output unit is controlled to output the guidance.
