SYSTEM AND METHOD OF AUTOMATED LOGISTICAL VEHICLE REGISTRATION AND VALIDATION FOR REMOTE MONITORING

A system and method of automated logistical vehicle registration and validation for remote monitoring. Cameras are deployed at the gate to a trucking logistics facility to record detailed information (e.g., license plate, identification info) on vehicles. Alternatively, vehicle and drive identification credentials can be provided by a mobile application from the driver. The cameras are connected to a data center hosting the automated logistical vehicle registration and validation system. Cameras are placed around the entry gate of a facility that takes snapshots of vehicles “checking in”. The system takes this info with assistance from artificial algorithms to read data and images (e.g., photos) to compare and verify the info. Recommendations are then sent to a guard to approve entry of the vehicle.

Queue monitoring techniques

A queue monitoring system includes at least one sensor configured to monitor guests admitted from an entrance and generate a sensor signal. The system also includes a virtual queue controller comprising a processor and communications circuitry, wherein the virtual queue controller is configured to: communicate guest admittance information to an operator device, the guest admittance information causing the operator device to display a target number of guests to be admitted during a time interval; determine a count of guests admitted from the entrance during the time interval based on the sensor signal; determine a remaining number representative of remaining guests to be admitted based on the target number and the count of guests admitted from the entrance; and communicate a standby admit signal to the operator device to cause the operator device to display the remaining number.

Interactive panels are used to display information to one or more users that are interacting with the interactive panels. One or more detection devices (e.g., sensors, communication devices, or the like) detect that users may be located near the interactive panels. The information displayed to the users may be any type of information, such as user information, product information, entity information, area information, or other like information. The interactive panels may be used in any type of barrier, such as doors, walls, fee-standing structures within or outside of a building, adaptable panels that are moveable, or the like. The interactive panels may have energy harvesting layers that at least partially aid in powering the interactive panels and/or components thereof. The interactive panels may have protection layers that at least partially aid in protecting the displays and/or energy harvesting layers of the interactive panels from damage.
