In some embodiments, unique games and/or unique administrations of games and/or unique tickets useful for participating in games. In certain preferred embodiments, games which can be administrated or participated in contemporaneously with an event, such as a sporting event, music performance, or trade show (e.g., at the same time or during a live event). In certain of such preferred embodiments, participants in games make no payment to participate in the games.

A method for generating target winning numbers is provided. The method implemented by a first node includes: receiving, in a first period of time, n encrypted random parameters sent by n second nodes in a system, where n is a positive integer; receiving, in a second period of time, n mapping relationships and n keys that are sent by the n second nodes, where each mapping relationship is a one-to-one mapping relationship between an encrypted random parameter and a key; and decrypting, in a third period of time, the n encrypted random parameters by using the n mapping relationships and the n keys, to obtain a target random parameter set, and generating target winning numbers by using the target random parameter set, so that each node can generate the winning numbers and verify impartiality of the winning numbers, thereby increasing randomness of a random parameter.

A method is provided of digitally imaging a secure portion and a non-secure portion of scratch-off-coating protected documents of at least one game using middleware. The method includes: (a) generating the secure variable indicia in non-vector raster format; (b) generating vector graphics to be imaged on physical document locations; (c) assigning the secure variable indicia in a non-vector raster format to documents in and shuffling the documents throughout a print run; and (d) linking via middleware the secure variable indicia in the non-vector raster format to associated vector graphics variable indicia to be digitally imaged on the documents and to generate vector graphics-formatted data for each document in the print run. The secure variable indicia assignment and shuffling are executed by non-vector raster game generation software output that is reinterpreted by the middleware to produce related vector graphic output for the secure variable indicia.

In accordance with some embodiments, a physical game element such as a wagering chip or a playing card may be utilized to implement a promotion scheme on an electronic game table (e.g., using RFID or optical imaging technology). During a game it may be determined whether the element is associated with special functionality (e.g., entitles the player to a payout multiplier, special payout table, bonus prize or other benefit). The special functionality may have been previously associated with the element or associated with the element during the game (e.g., dynamically and/or randomly). Systems and methods of operating a wheel are described herein. The wheel includes a plurality of game wedges and a wedge selector. The plurality of game wedges includes a first variable wedge, a second variable wedge, and at least one moveable wedge. Each game wedge is associated with a respective award and a respective probability of selection. The method includes generating, using a random-number generator, a random number representing a selected game wedge of the plurality of game wedges, causing the wedge selector to visibly identify the selected game wedge, and in response to a trigger game wedge of the game wedges being the selected game wedge, shifting the moveable wedge around the wheel to change a visible size of the first variable wedge and the respective probability of selection of the first variable game wedge proportional to the change in visible size.

A lottery ticket dispensing system includes an array having bins that dispense a pack of scratch-off lottery tickets, wherein each ticket includes game play characters covered by a scratch-off coating. A pack code for each ticket pack is associated with a computer database file maintained by a central server that includes identification of some of the game play characters for each of the tickets in the pack and location of the pack. A display is in communication with the central server and, based on ticket location information from the central server, is configured to reveal to players the game play characters of at least certain ones of the scratch-off lottery tickets remaining in the array.
