Vehicle telematics and account management
Methods, computer-readable media, software, and apparatuses provide a system that may facilitate communications so that parents or other superiors may monitor driving behavior of a vehicle carrying children or other subordinates. The system may allow communications to be sent from a parent computing device to a particular child computing device to set conditions for notifying the parent or superior of the driving behavior of a vehicle. Child computing devices may collect drive data (e.g., vehicle telematics data) for the system to evaluate and determine whether conditions are met (e.g., whether parental restrictions, like a geo-fence, are violated). Further, the system may send notifications to child computing devices and parent computing devices indicating whether the drive data meets the conditions of an agreement between a parent and teen. The system may also provide a web portal for use in forming the agreement between parents and their teens.
System of conditional access where access is granted to other users when primary accessor is present in room
A method of determining access in an access control system is provided. The method including: receiving an access request to a first access control from a subordinate individual; determining a location of a superior individual; and deciding whether to actuate the first access control in response to the location of the superior individual.
RFID LOCK
An access server can be configured to receive an open lock request from a radio frequency identification (RFID) lock that is provided in response to a holder of an RFID badge positioning the RFID badge near the RFID lock. The open lock request can include a unique identifier (ID) assigned to the RFID badge. The access server can also be configured to retrieve a user record based on the unique ID of the RFID badge to determine a secondary device ID. The access server can further be configured to determine whether the secondary device ID is present in a wireless device list that characterizes a list of wireless devices communicating with a wireless network physically encompassing the RFID lock.
Key fob button sequence for accessing keypad reprogramming mode
A vehicle includes a controller, in communication with a vehicle keypad and at least one key fob authorized to access the vehicle. The controller may be configured to enter a keypad programming mode responsive to receipt of a predefined sequence including button presses of fob controls of the at least one key fob; receive a personal code entered to the keypad; and store the personal code for comparison with keypad input of a user requesting to unlock the vehicle. The controller may also receive input to the keypad; and provide keypad access to vehicle unlock functionality when the input matches a personal code stored to the controller during a keypad programming mode previously entered responsive to receipt of a predefined sequence including button presses of fob controls of the at least one key fob.
System and approach for integration of parameters from wearable cloud connected access control devices
A system and approach for integrating of health parameters from wearable cloud connected access control devices to provide life safety measures, and also for controlling access to facilities. A monitoring system may incorporate a device for a wearer or holder and a sensor at an entrance to or exit from a specified facility, and a processor connected to the sensor. The device may sense a parameter of the wearer or holder selected from a group of items incorporating heartbeat, blood pressure, blood oxygen, pulse rate, and body temperature. If the selected parameter indicates an abnormal or worsening condition, then the wearer or holder may obtain access to a hospital or health care facility. Health professionals may hold or wear a device that permits them to enter a restricted facility to aid a person within the facility needing medical assistance.
LOCAL DEVICE AUTHENTICATION
The disclosed embodiments include computerized methods, systems, and devices, including computer programs encoded on a computer storage medium, for device authentication. For example, the resource device may generate and maintain master access tokens, which may be transmitted to a computing system. The computing system may receive, from a device of an owner of the resource device, data granting a client device limited access to the resource device in accordance with various access restrictions. The computing system may generate and provide to the client device a limited version of the master access token that specifies the access restrictions. The client device may present the local access token to the resource device over a direct wireless connection, and the resource device may verify the token and grant the requested access without communication with the computing system.
Access control system for radio and facial recognition
An access control system receives a device-specific identifier of a mobile electronic device. A memory device stores the identifier as belonging to a user present in a public zone. An image processing device generates from a camera image produced by a camera a real-time template for facial features of the user present when the user present requests access to an access-restricted zone, and searches user profiles stored in a database for a reference template that matches the real-time template to a specified degree, wherein a user profile is searched only if it is assigned to a present user based on a stored identifier, wherein in the case of a match, the system grants the user access to the access-restricted zone and denies access when there is no match.
VISIT ASSISTANCE DEVICE, VISIT ASSISTANCE SYSTEM, VISIT ASSISTANCE METHOD, AND NON-TRANSITORY COMPUTER-READABLE MEDIUM HAVING PROGRAM STORED THEREIN
A visit assistance device, a visit assistance system, a visit assistance method, and a program are provided that can assist realization of an efficient visit. A visit assistance device (1) includes a visit destination acquisition unit (2) configured to acquire a visit destination user of a visitor who arrives at an entrance of a predetermined space, an image acquisition unit (3) configured to acquire a first photographed image as a photographed image of the visitor by a photographing device which is installed in the entrance, an authentication control unit (4) configured to perform control so as to perform face authentication of the visitor based on the first photographed image, and a notification unit (5) configured to perform a notification about a visit to a terminal device associated with the visit destination user in a case where the face authentication of the visitor succeeds.
System and method for cross-contamination prevention
Cross-contamination prevention systems and cross-contamination prevention methods are provided for defining and automatically enforcing access restrictions between environments where cross-contamination may occur. The system and methods can evaluate a person's exposure to contaminants in one or more locations against contamination risk posed for another location. The system can prevent or allow access to the other location based on that evaluation. Some embodiments can be implemented in a laboratory setting and configured to prevent cross-contamination between different laboratories and/or experiments being conducted.
Configurable remote control system and method for a marine vessel
A remote control system for a marine vessel includes a helm transceiver positioned on the marine vessel and configured to communicate with one or more fobs, and at least one operator fob configured to wirelessly transmit a fob signal to the helm transceiver on the marine vessel. A controller is configured to receive the fob signal transmitted by the operator fob and to determine an operator distance based on the fob signal. The operator distance is compared with one or more threshold distances, and then a system command is generated based on the comparison of the operator distance to the one or more threshold distances so as to control operation of one or more devices on the marine vessel.
