ACCESS SYSTEM
Managing visitor access to resources within a physical area includes a mobile user device of a visitor associated to the physical area with a secure component having stored thereon a credential for authorizing the mobile user device to communicate transactions with other components of the system that are remotely located from and coupled with the mobile user device. The components include data structures that define a plurality of entities and associate attributes with the entities corresponding to access to the resources. A first application manages access of the visitor to the resources based on the data structures and information communicated by the mobile user device to the components in transactions that are authorized using the at least one credential. The credential may be a block chain credential and the transactions may be block chain transactions. The mobile user device may be locally coupled to the secure component.
User identification system
A user identification system includes: a detection unit that detects prescribed motions of a person when the person boards or alights from a vehicle; an acquisition unit that acquires types of boarding information indicating that one of users boards or is on board the vehicle when one of the motions is detected; a memory that stores association information in which identification information of the users is associated with the types of boarding information corresponding to the users; a probability calculating unit configured to calculate a probability that each of the users boards or is on boarded the vehicle based on the types of boarding information and the association information; and an identification unit that identifies a user who boards or is on boarded the vehicle among the users based on the probability calculated by the probability calculating unit.
Systems, devices, and methods for access control and identification of user devices
Systems, devices, and techniques that can provide access control and/or identification of user devices.
Managing visitor access
Managing a visitor outside of a physical area includes remotely registering the visitor to an access system, installing an application on a mobile user device of the visitor, the application being authorized to access and communicate with the access system, the visitor entering personnel credentials to authorize use of the application while the visitor is outside of the physical area, and, in response to the visitor authorizing use of the application, the application and the access system exchanging data containing information about the visitor, remote executed activities of the visitor, remote data, and/or information about localization of the user device. The application may exchange data with the access system using a RESTful API. Data may be formed in a blockchain prior to being exchanged between the mobile user device and the access system. The access system may add third party information to complement and improve scheduling of the visitor.
Smart home system, method, and computer program
A smart home system is provided. In operation, a user input of a guest at a location is detected, and calendar information is received from a calendar application. In response to detecting the user input, an identity of a guest is determined. Utilizing the identify of the guest, it is determined that the guest is expected for a calendared event at the location by reviewing the calendar information from the calendar application. Utilizing the determined identity of the guest and the determination that the guest is expected for the calendared event at the location, a visual notification is outputted, and an audible notification is outputted.
Distributed vehicle authorized operations
A system includes a computer including a processor and a memory. The memory stores instructions executable by the processor to store an electronic ledger that specifies an authorized operation for an entity to perform for a vehicle, receive a request, including an entity identifier for an entity making the request, to perform a requested operation, query the electronic ledger to determine that the requested operation is the authorized operation, and actuate the vehicle based on the authorized operation. The electronic ledger is a distributed electronic ledger shared between at least the vehicle and the entity.
METHOD AND SYSTEMS FOR EVENT ENTRY WITH FACIAL RECOGNITION
A system is provided that includes an event site device having a display and an imaging device. The event site device is configured to capture an image of a user's face for identification. The system further includes a server configured to associate ticketing information with an identity of the user, receive the image of the user's face from the event site device, determine the identity of the user based on facial feature information stored for the user, retrieve the ticketing information associated with the user, and transmit the ticketing information to the event site device for presentation on the display.
DIGITAL DOOR LOCK, DOOR LOCK CONTROL SERVER, AND DOOR LOCK SYSTEM
A digital door lock, a digital door lock control server, and a digital door lock system are proposed. The digital door lock according to an embodiment of the present invention includes a driving unit formed in a door to move a deadbolt by an electric signal; a detection unit detecting whether the door is opened or closed; and controller configured to allow power to be provided from an external constant power supply when the deadbolt is drawn out of a body and is in contact with a power board inside a bracket formed in a door frame, and allow power to be provided from an internal power supply in the form of a primary battery or a secondary battery when the deadbolt is drawn into the body and is away from the power board.
System for monitoring functions of a work machine
A system for monitoring functions of a work machine. The system comprises an electronically readable identifier associated with an operator of the work machine. A user interface operable by the operator. A processor communicatively coupled to the user interface. At least one control device, wherein the at least one control device is configured to control operations of the work machine or an implement coupled to the work machine in response to receipt of an output signal generated by the processor. The processor is configured to execute a set of instructions stored on a memory such that when executed the processor is programmed to: read out the electronically readable identifier and obtain, via the user interface, an input selection of a desired device function assigned in an authorization database to the electronically readable identifier and to activate a desired function for a limited time duration that is defined or that is specified by means of the user interface.
