Virtual entry system
A method performed by a system of one or more computers for operating a virtual entry system for a building. The method includes receiving, from a mobile device, a selection associated with information related to a navigation interface. The method includes sending, to the mobile device in response to receiving the selection, information related to a communication interface, the information related to the communication interface including a meeting code. The method includes receiving, from the mobile device, a first request to initiate a communication session between the mobile device and an electronic device, the first request including the meeting code. The method includes initiating, based on the first request, a communication session between the mobile device and the electronic device. The method includes receiving a second request to unlock a door of the building in response to the communication session.
Tamper-resistant smart factory
An access restriction system having a true random number generator (TRNG) to generate true random keys based on quantum-level physical properties and hub computer to provide those keys. An access-restricted component executes one or more tasks in response to receiving a verified task instruction. A component computer associated with the access-restricted component receives true random keys from the hub computer and stores the keys to a memory. A controller provides a task request to the component computer that includes a task instruction paired with a key. The component computer then verifies the task instruction by comparing and ensuring that the true random key stored to the memory matches the key received from the controller with the task request and then provides the verified task to the access-restricted component. The access-restricted component then carries out the verified task instruction.
Lockset with integrated wireless signals analysis feature and method
A wireless lockset with integrated wireless signals analysis and method is described herein. The analysis integrated into the wireless lockset allows remote monitoring of a building or dwelling. A user can track and be notified of the state of occupancy of a dwelling based upon when specific un-associated devices that are within range of the lockset.
DISTANCE MEASURING DEVICE AND DISTANCE MEASURING METHOD
According to an embodiment, a first device includes: a first transceiver configured to transmit two or more first carrier signals using an output of a first reference signal source and to receive two or more second carrier signals; and a calculation unit, and a second device includes: a second transceiver configured to transmit the two or more second carrier signals using an output of a second reference signal source that operates independently of the first reference signal source and to receive the two or more first carrier signals. A frequency group of the two or more first carrier signals and a frequency group of the two or more second carrier signals are identical or substantially identical to each other, and the calculation unit calculates the distance between the first device and the second device based on a phase detection result obtained by receiving the first and second carrier signals.
Security System for a Moveable Barrier Operator
Systems are provided for secure actuation of a device such as a movable barrier operator. The systems permit the device to instruct a control device associated with the device how to proceed in order to allow different types of security protocols depending on the configuration of the control device. Methods of pairing devices are also provided.
