Home automation system supporting dual-authentication
Techniques are described for a security and automation system. One method includes detecting a presence of a person proximate a residence, receiving a first authentication factor from a device associated with the person, receiving a second authentication factor associated with the person, and initiating a change of state of a locking mechanism associated with a barrier of the residence based on the first authentication factor and the second authentication factor.
Systems and methods for providing temporary access credentials to access physical locations
A physical location access control system is configured to receive. via a network interface, a request to provide a temporary access right for a first physical location to a first user, the request providing an indication as to a first time period associated with the temporary access right. In response to determining that the requester has an access right to the first physical location for a second time period that comprises the first time period, a temporary access token corresponding to the first time period is created and the requester's access right to access the first physical location for the first time period is disabled. The temporary access token is transmitted to a device associated with the first user, enabling the first user to access the first physical location during the first time period.
Enhanced entry authorization
Disclosed herein are apparatuses and methods for granting entry through a checkpoint. The implementations include receiving a request for entry of a person through a checkpoint. The implementations include estimating, via a thermal sensor, a body surface temperature of the person, and generating, via a user interface, a notification that prompts the person to answer at least one verification question. The implementations include receiving, via the user interface, at least one user response to the at least one verification question. The implementations include determining whether the at least one user response and the body surface temperature match criteria for gaining entry through the checkpoint. Additionally, the implementations include granting the request for entry in response to determining that the at least one user response and the body surface temperature match the criteria.
MULTI-LOCKING DEVICE USING RANDOM PASSWORD
Provided is a multi-locking device including a locking device management unit configured such that, when a user requests same to grant a right to open/close a door, same converts information regarding a granted right regarding the door into a QR code, outputs same, and provides same to the user, a door locking device configured to receive the information regarding a granted right regarding the door from the locking device management unit, and a QR code reader unit configured to receive the QR code from the user and provide same to the door locking device.
INFORMATION PROCESSING APPARATUS, INFORMATION PROCESSING METHOD, AND STORAGE MEDIUM
An information processing apparatus includes a memory for storing instructions and a processor to execute the instructions to read a first medium including a first biometrics information, read a code indicated in a second medium, and capture a second biometrics information on a user at a time when one of the first medium and the code is read.
Systems and methods for wireless unlocking a lock associated with an enclosed space within a vehicle
Systems and methods for wireless unlocking of lock systems on enclosures within a vehicle are provided. A lock system may be unlocked via a digital key communicated to the lock system via any suitable communication protocol, for example, a short range communication protocol. The digital key can be embedded or otherwise stored and accessed in an application accessible via a user interface device.
SECURE ELECTRONIC LOCK SYSTEMS AND METHODS OF USING THE SAME
Present disclosure relates a secure electronic lock system. Secure electronic lock system includes many secure electronic locks connected through a communication network to a secure electronic lock system server. Each secure electronic lock includes a passive electronic lock, an active electronic key and a passive electronic key. Active electronic key includes electrical power source providing electrical power supply to active electronic key, passive electronic lock and passive electronic key. When both active and passive electronic keys are inserted into respective electronic keyholes of passive electronic lock, both active and passive digital keys are transmitted to passive electronic lock, passive electronic lock can be locked and unlocked only when both active and passive digital keys received match prestored active and passive digital keys respectively. Active and passive digital keys are updated and an access event is transmitted to secure electronic lock system server every time each secure electronic lock is accessed.
