Solar Power Conversion Kit for Umbrella
A solar power conversion kit allows converting of a standard umbrella into a solar charging umbrella, which can then use solar power to charge electronic devices. The solar charging umbrella is self-sustained, capable of charging electronic devices in locations away from electrical outlets. The umbrella has a rechargeable battery that is recharged by sunlight. When charged, the umbrella's battery can charge devices when sunlight is not available. The umbrella supports simultaneous charging of higher power devices such as tablet computers.
EASILY DISASSEMBLE TAIL GATE APPARATUS
A tail gating apparatus including a horizontal frame with various tables positioned thereon on spindles that allow the tables to rotate in supports mounted on the frame. The frame also supports shade producing umbrellas and alternatively a cook's seat, a stabilizing plate and a wind protection shield.
Rollable curtain patio umbrella
A rollable curtain patio umbrella for creating a shaded, netted, and private area includes an umbrella assembly comprising a pole, a support structure and a canopy. The canopy is coupled to the support structure, which is coupled to the pole. The canopy has an outside surface, an inside surface, a front perimeter, a rear perimeter, a right perimeter, and a left perimeter. A plurality of rollable shade curtains is coupled to the umbrella assembly, each shade curtain having a top edge coupled to the outside surface proximal the front perimeter, the rear perimeter, the right perimeter, and the left perimeter, respectively. Each of the shade curtains has a stored position and an alternate deployed position. Each shade curtain in the stored position is rolled adjacent the outside surface of the canopy, while in the alternate deployed position each shade curtain extends from the canopy to the ground.
Umbrella system
An umbrella system includes a support pole connected to a rotating tube positioned around a center tube that extends between the support pole and a center support that is connected to an umbrella frame. The rotating tube has one or more helical grooves therein that are engaged by teeth of a hub which is connected to the umbrella frame. As the rotating tube is rotated, the hub is driven along the length of the rotating tube thereby opening and closing the umbrella frame. In one arrangement system includes a motor housing assembly including a plurality of batteries and a motor that includes a driven gear that meshes with a stationary gear which causes rotation of the rotating tube. The system also includes a counterbalance assembly positioned within the rotating tube. The counterbalance assembly includes at least one spring positioned within the rotating tube that provides a counterbalance force.
Combination Umbrella and Cover
Disclosed herein is a large umbrella configured to solve several existing deficiencies. The umbrella is configured for ease of operation, requiring very little effort for operation. This is achieved, in part, by use of a specially designed actuator arm used in conjunction with at least one pulley and counterbalanced weight system. Moreover, the umbrella canopy and framework is configured to allow the entire canopy to be lowered while remaining fully extended, so as to form a cover for a table into which its center pole is situated. Additionally, the umbrella canopy can be constructed with an extendible skirt. When unfurled, the skirt can extend the canopy cover so as to form an enclosure that fully surrounds the table, table legs, and chairs, for example.
Umbrella base apparatus
An umbrella base for supporting an umbrella within a pool, poolside, or other outdoor areas. The umbrella base apparatus includes a base assembly having a base tube that can removably receive the umbrella therein. The base assembly includes a plate that can rest on a flat surface, one or more support arms extending from a central area outward from the plate, and a collar that is generally positioned at the central area of the plate. Each support arm interlocks with the collar. One or more weighted housings engage with a support arm and collar for providing mass to the umbrella base apparatus during use. The weighted housings are removable during transport or during submerged use. The plate and support arms have apertures that allow water to pass through during movement through water.
Solar-powered charging umbrella with USB ports
A solar-powered umbrella has a cap structure that is connected by hinges to struts. The struts are relatively rigid and positioned above the umbrella shade and house solar panels. When the umbrella is opened and closed, the struts rotate via the hinges from an open to closed position. When the solar panels are exposed to the sun, light is converted to electrical energy to charge a rechargeable battery. The battery supplies power to one or more USB ports. A user can recharge an electronic device (e.g., smartphone or tablet computer) by connecting to a port of the umbrella using a cable.

System and method for providing directions haptically
Systems, methods, and computer-readable storage devices for providing directions haptically such that sight and hearing can continue unimpeded. In one exemplary embodiment, a wearable device (such as earphones, ear rings, gloves, glasses, or other wearable objects) configured as disclosed herein receives directions to an intended destination for a user, the directions comprising a movement action and a distance to the movement action. The wearable device has multiple haptic output units and generates, through one of those units, a haptic output based on the directions. This allows the user to receive the directions through touch rather than looking at their mobile device or from audio.
Umbrella System and Method
An umbrella system includes a collapsible umbrella preferably having a telescoping pole, and including a generally hollow base unit with an augur member attached to a bottom portion thereof. The telescoping pole may be adjustable in height by any suitable means, and is received by the base unit having a pair of handle members extending radially therefrom, so that a user may grip the handle members in order to twist the base unit with the augur member into the ground. Other features may include an attachable table member, attachable drink holders, a removable carrying strap, a rotating collar assembly affixed to the lower portion of the base unit for attachment to a dog leash, and a water misting system for providing a spray water mist beneath the shade of the umbrella.
