The paper sheet redirecting unit (60) for changing a direction of a paper sheet configured to support one side of the paper sheet and change the direction of the paper sheet while transferring the paper sheet; and an other-side redirecting member (62) configured to support the other side of the paper sheet in a state of coming in contact with the one-side redirecting member (61) and to change the direction of the paper sheet while transferring the paper sheet, wherein if a power is transmitted to the one-side redirecting member (61) or the other-side redirecting member (62), the one-side redirecting member (61) and the other-side redirecting member (62) are operated in company with each other, thereby discharging the paper sheet while changing the direction of the paper sheet to be inputted between the one-side redirecting member (61) and the other-side redirecting member (62).

The first guiding element has at least a first magnet or a ferromagnetic material. The first magnet and a second magnet or the first magnet and the ferromagnetic material are arranged opposite to each other at least in an operating state, an attractive force acting between the first magnet and the second magnet or the first magnet and the ferromagnetic material.

A banknote processing apparatus capable of properly storing and dispensing a banknote is provided. The banknote processing apparatus includes: a transport unit that transports a banknote; a long-edge orientation storage unit that receives and stores, in a first orientation, the banknote transported by the transport unit, the first orientation being an orientation in which a short edge of the banknote is a leading edge thereof; a short-edge orientation storage unit that receives and stores, in a second orientation, the banknote transported by the transport unit, the second orientation being an orientation in which a long edge of the banknote is a leading edge thereof; and a control unit that selects, by controlling the transport unit, a storage destination for the banknote transported by the transport unit, from among any of the long-edge orientation storage unit and the short-edge orientation storage unit.

A banknote processing apparatus capable of properly storing and dispensing a banknote is provided. The banknote processing apparatus includes: a transport unit that transports a banknote; a long-edge orientation storage unit that receives and stores, in a first orientation, the banknote transported by the transport unit, the first orientation being an orientation in which a short edge of the banknote is a leading edge thereof; a short-edge orientation storage unit that receives and stores, in a second orientation, the banknote transported by the transport unit, the second orientation being an orientation in which a long edge of the banknote is a leading edge thereof; and a control unit that selects, by controlling the transport unit, a storage destination for the banknote transported by the transport unit, from among any of the long-edge orientation storage unit and the short-edge orientation storage unit.

The present invention discloses an assembled note-issuing device (100) and a self-service financial apparatus equipped therewith, comprising a base (10), a note container (20), a paper delivery assembly (30), a printing assembly (40) and a temporary storage assembly (50) that are arranged on the base (10) successively. The paper delivery assembly (30), the printing assembly (40) and the temporary storage assembly (50) are interconnected with the note container (20) through a note channel (60); the paper delivery assembly (30) delivers the notes in the note container (20) to the printing assembly (40) through the note channel (60) for printing, and the printing assembly (40) transfers the printed notes to the temporary storage assembly (50) for temporary storage.

A medium storage box includes a storage unit that stores a medium, a handle configured to rotate in a first direction from a first state to a second state and a second direction opposite to the first direction from the second state to the first state, and a rotation restricting portion that prevents rotation of the handle in the second direction. The slide rail is attached to the casing and to the loading section, and lets the loading section move between the internal space of the casing and outside. The connector is provided inside the loading space of the loading section, and electrically connects to the storage cassette in a loaded state of the storage cassette in the loading space.
