Banking systems controlled by data bearing records
A computing platform may receive, from one or more cash handling devices, aggregated activity information comprising a plurality of transaction records. Subsequently, the computing platform may identify one or more deposit transactions based on the aggregated activity information comprising the plurality of transaction records. Based on identifying the one or more deposit transactions, the computing platform may generate one or more account credit commands, which may direct at least one account management computer system to apply one or more provisional credits to one or more treasury accounts associated with the one or more deposit transactions. Subsequently, the computing platform may send, to the at least one account management computer system, the one or more account credit commands directing the at least one account management computer system to apply the one or more provisional credits to the one or more treasury accounts associated with the one or more deposit transactions.
PAPER SHEET PROCESSING APPARATUS AND PAPER SHEET PROCESSING SYSTEM
Provided is a paper sheet processing apparatus capable of distinguishing a counterfeit bill or a paper sheet suspicious to be a counterfeit bill from bills inserted through an insertion slot to stop a wrongdoing. A storage unit stores information on a paper sheet read by a bill reader and a verification unit verifies the paper sheet using the information on the paper sheet stored in the storage unit. If the paper sheet is determined to be counterfeit in the verification, a conveyance unit conveys the paper sheet toward the insertion slot. A comparison unit compares the image data of the inserted paper sheet with image data of a previously inserted paper sheet and if the image data of the inserted paper sheet is determined to be identical to the image data of the previously inserted paper sheet in the comparison, a control unit sends a signal to a host apparatus.
PAPER SHEET PROCESSING APPARATUS AND PAPER SHEET PROCESSING SYSTEM
Provided is a paper sheet processing system capable of collecting a wrong paper sheet put in a bill processing apparatus to examine the collected paper sheet without making the supplier feel doubt. A paper sheet processing apparatus verifies a paper sheet using image data acquired by a bill reader when the bill is being conveyed. If the paper sheet is determined to be counterfeit in the verification, the paper sheet processing apparatus holds the paper sheet within the paper sheet processing apparatus and sends a signal from a controller of the paper sheet processing apparatus to instruct a report device to report a result different from the result of the verification. The report device reports a result irrelevant to use of a wrong paper sheet.
PAPER SHEET PROCESSING APPARATUS AND PAPER SHEET PROCESSING SYSTEM
Provided is a paper sheet processing system capable of preventing a large number of wrong paper bills put in a paper sheet processing apparatus at one time from being exchanged with clean money. A bill processing apparatus sends information on a total amount of the bills supplied to the bill processing apparatus incorporated in a gaming machine and the number of games played by a player counted by a counter to a management server. The management server compares the total amount with a predetermined amount and if the total amount is higher than the predetermined amount, compares the counted number of games with a predetermined number. If the counted number of games is smaller than the predetermined number, the management server sends a report signal to a management apparatus.
PAPER SHEET PROCESSING APPARATUS AND PAPER SHEET PROCESSING SYSTEM
Provided is a paper sheet processing system capable of preventing circulation of wrong bills and managing the wrong bills. A paper sheet processing apparatus stores the serial number of each bill determined by a verification unit to be genuine to a storage unit and sends the serial number to a management server together with the identification number of a bill holder. In collecting the bills from the bill holder to a bill collection apparatus, the bill collection apparatus reads the serial numbers of the bills with a line sensor and reads the identification number of the bill holder with a reader/writer and sends the serial numbers and the identification number to the management server. The management server compares the serial numbers to determine whether any discrepancy exists. If detecting a discrepancy, the management server sends a detection signal to a management apparatus.
In-pocket currency bundler
Presently disclosed embodiments are directed to systems and methods for bundling smaller stacks of bank notes into larger sized bundles that are efficient for transportation. The system may include an in-line bundler disposed along pockets of a currency processor for receiving stacks of bank notes directly from the pocket. That way, the smaller stacks of bank notes do not have to be removed from the currency processor and transported to a separate bundler machine. Instead, the currency processor features a desired number of bundler machines disposed in-line with the corresponding pockets where the bank notes are initially received and stacked. This arrangement may enable efficient stacking and bundling of bank notes sorted via the currency processor.
COIN PROCESSING APPARATUS
A coin processing apparatus configured to: cause a coin output conveying unit to collectively convey coins taken out for each denomination from a plurality of coin containers where the coins are housed in the respective coin containers for each denomination; and dispense the conveyed coins from a coin output port through a coin output shoot unit, the coin processing apparatus includes: a coin stay detecting sensor configured to detect a coin stay on a shoot face of the coin output shoot unit; a reporting unit configured to perform report output for abnormality; and a controller configured to cause the reporting unit to perform report output for coin stay abnormality in the coin output shoot unit when the coin stay detecting sensor detects the coin stay.
Money handling apparatus, money handling system, and money handling method
When a checkout apparatus 10 serving as a money handling apparatus detects that change is left behind after dispensing of the change in a settlement mode, the checkout apparatus 10 shifts from a settlement mode to a left money retaining mode. Upon receiving money in the left money retaining mode, the checkout apparatus 10 stores information on the amount of the money, date and time of the reception, etc., in a memory, thereby managing the left money separately from proceeds from sales. Since the same money handling unit as that for the settlement is used for storage and feeding of the left money, miniaturization and cost reduction of the apparatus is realized. Since money equivalent to the left money can be dispensed as in the settlement, a complicated operation, such as opening a housing of the checkout apparatus 10, is not necessary when responding to a request for a refund of the left money.
MONEY HANDLING APPARATUS AND MONEY HANDLING METHOD
Burden on users is reduced. A setting unit is configured to set information about the use environment concerning a use environment in which a money handling apparatus is used. A transport unit is configured to transport money. A recognition unit is configured to recognize a kind of the money. A control unit is configured to control transporting of the money by the transport unit, according to a recognition result for the money by the recognition unit. Further, the control unit controls transporting of the money according to the information about the use environment that is set by the setting unit, in a case where a kind, of the money, recognized by the recognition unit corresponds to a predetermined specific kind.
TRANSACTION PROCESSING SYSTEM AND TRANSACTION PROCESSING METHOD
A transaction processing system, for performing a transaction in a branch of a financial institution, includes a reception apparatus configured to receive a content of the transaction; a transaction management apparatus configured to manage the content and a handling status of the transaction received by the reception apparatus; a determination circuit configured to, in a case that an operation related to the received transaction is performed, refer to the handling status and determine an appropriateness of the operation; and a handling unit configured to perform handling corresponding to the operation determined to be appropriate by the determination unit, and update the handling status.
