An accounting device according to an embodiment includes an input device that receives an instruction to start a job. A first display device includes a first screen facing a first direction towards a person who operates the input device. A change machine includes a depositing port for receiving money and a dispensing port for dispensing money. A second display device includes a second screen facing a second direction different from the first direction and towards a person who deposits money into the depositing port or receives money from the dispensing port. When the instruction received by the input device is to start a predetermined job that is different from the accounting transaction and that includes depositing money into the change machine or dispensing money from the change machine, the processor causes information supporting execution of the predetermined job to be displayed on the second screen.

Upon receiving the settlement request, the management server withdraws the settlement amount from an account, and transmits a settlement permission to the POS register. Upon receiving the settlement permission from the management server, the POS register performs charge of electronic money, and transmits a dispensing instruction for the cash-out amount to a change machine. The change machine receives the dispensing instruction and dispenses cash.

MONEY HANDLING APPARATUS

A money handling apparatus configured to dispense money includes: a container removably mounted to the apparatus and configured to store money of a plurality of denominations; a plurality of storing units configured to store money to be dispensed, for each denomination; a memory configured to store information on a threshold of a money storage quantity wherein the threshold is set for each denomination; and a control unit configured to perform control to monitor storage quantities of money for each denomination stored in the storing units, and to perform a replenishment process if a denomination of which the storage quantity becomes less than the threshold is detected, wherein in the replenishment process, money is fed out from the container, and at least one storing unit corresponding to the detected denomination is replenished with the money of the detected denomination among the fed out money.

A money handling apparatus configured to dispense money includes: a container removably mounted to the apparatus and configured to store money of a plurality of denominations; a plurality of storing units configured to store money to be dispensed, for each denomination; a memory configured to store information on a threshold of a money storage quantity wherein the threshold is set for each denomination; and a control unit configured to perform control to monitor storage quantities of money for each denomination stored in the storing units, and to perform a replenishment process if a denomination of which the storage quantity becomes less than the threshold is detected, wherein in the replenishment process, money is fed out from the container, and at least one storing unit corresponding to the detected denomination is replenished with the money of the detected denomination among the fed out money.

Commands to open or close the lid may be sent from a wireless transmitter in the payment terminal and received at a wireless receiver of the autonomous cash box.
