SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR CONTACTLESS PICKUP AT A VENDING MACHINE

Systems and methods for contactless pickup at a vending machine are provided. The systems and methods include determining that a user device is in proximity of the vending machine. The proximity is determined without the user touching an input mechanism of the vending machine. Responsive to determining the proximity, the vending machine or the user device transmits a request to vend the items included in a reservation to a management server. The management server then transmits a vend request to the vending machine which then vends the reserved items.

SERVICE KIOSK DEVICE PROVISIONING

Examples associated with service kiosk device provisioning are described. One example includes receiving at a service kiosk, authentication data associated with a user, data associated with a first device currently assigned to the user, a device specification for a second device to be provided to the user, and provisioning data for the second device. A selected device is selected based on the device specification to serve as the second device. The selected device is selected from a set of devices stored in compartments of the service kiosk and operably connected to the service kiosk. The selected device is configured based on the provisioning data. At a physical interface of the service kiosk, a credential that matches the authentication data associated with the user is received. Physical access is provided to a first compartment into which the user is to store the first device. Physical access is provided to a second compartment from which the user is to retrieve the second device.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PROVIDING A UNIVERSAL SHOPPING CART ACROSS MULTIPLE SEARCH PLATFORMS

Systems and methods are disclosed that provide for a linking of a product database across different search platforms and then managing payments by a generalized search entity such that users are not transitioned to a merchant site from advertisements or search results. A method includes establishing, at a generalized search entity, a link to a product database of a merchant, offering, by the generalized search entity and based on a correlation of search terms to the product database of the merchant, search results across at least a first search platform and a second search platform and receiving, from a user, a confirmation of a payment for a product associated with a search result presented on the first search platform by the generalized search entity. The generalized search entity processes the payment for the product without transitioning the user to a site operated by the merchant. A universal shopping cart can be used to pay once for a plurality of products selected from different merchants as managed by the generalized search entity.

MULTI-LEVEL NETWORK-BASED ACCESS COORDINATION

A multi-entity automated communications system includes a centralized system. The centralized system receives first communications from different first systems with a first application coordinated by the centralized system, and based on the received communications automatically communicates via second communications with a second system with a second application coordinated by the centralized system, and based on the first communications and the second communications, provides instructions to a third system to initiate transactions to pay users of the first systems.

BLOCKCHAIN ENABLED NUTRITION STATION
20220005084 · 2022-01-06 ·

A blockchain traceable nutrition station, such as a vending machine is provided. All products sold within the nutrition station may be carbon neutral or use green energy during their production, processing and/or product manufacturing. All products are blockchain tracked and traced from their source to the nutrition station machine. Each product includes a unique identifier viewable on the nutrition station machine or through a mobile application viewable on a purchaser's smart device for displaying the product blockchain information.

Software development kits for point-of-sale device and mobile device interactive frameworks

There are provided systems and methods for software development kits for point-of-sale device and mobile device interactive frameworks. A service provider, such as a payment provider, that offers online and cloud based digital wallet services may configure flexible software frameworks for a merchant's point-of-sale device and a user's mobile device. A framework for a merchant's device may allow for user check-in with the merchant, and may utilize multiple different communication protocols to receive tenders and non-tenders from the user's mobile device. Thus, the user's mobile device may communicate with the merchant device to provide tokens that may be resolved by the merchant using the payment provider and/or a payment host to receive payment processing confirmation. Moreover, the frameworks may allow for a transaction to be synchronized to the user's mobile device so that the user may receive updates after processing of the tokens.

Systems and methods for programming a credential reader
11163547 · 2021-11-02 · ·

A credential reader update system includes a server operable to provide a credential reader update via a cellular telephone interface, and a plurality of credential readers. Each credential reader communicates with a presented credential at a credential reader frequency, wherein each credential reader has a credential reader interface having a range. A portable update device is movable into and out of the range, and is operable to receive the credential reader update via the cellular telephone interface. A credential reader update application is included in the portable update device, and is operable to uniquely identify the particular credential reader to be updated. The portable update device transfers the credential reader update to the credential reader via the credential reader interface, and the credential reader update includes firmware instructions that cause the credential reader to perform communications with the presented credential at a second frequency different than the credential reader frequency.

Modularized and customizable transaction terminal architecture

Modular transaction terminal services are provided. The services are customized for specific features using configuration data maintained in files. The services communicate using a standardized data format and Application Programming Interface (API). An interface is provided for custom defining an instance of a processing environment for a target transaction terminal. Customizations are made to the files and process flow data structures that are processed by the services. The hardware requirements of the target transaction terminal are also obtained and an installation package is created for the target transaction terminal. The installation package is installed on hardware of the target transaction terminal and the processing environment initiated. The services, configuration data maintained in files, process flow data structures, and interface represent a modularized and customizable transaction terminal architecture.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR AUTOMATIC CONFIGURATION OF SELF-SERVICE KIOSKS

A system and method for automatic configuration of a self-service kiosk. The key aspect of the configuration of the self-service kiosk is to autoconfigure the unattended self-service kiosk enabled by a hardware and a vending machine software (VMS) of the system. The system and method reduce the time for operator, business user to install and manage the self-service kiosk. The system uses the data obtained from the self-service kiosks via a data file to automatically configure these self-service kiosks. Once the self-service kiosk is configured the same is displayed back to the operator/business user who is configuring the self-service kiosk on their mobile using the hardware and vending machine software (VMS) so that the consumers can start using the self-service kiosk immediately after configuration.

ROBOTIC VENDING MACHINE SYSTEM

A vending system including a vending machine and a robot. The robot can be adapted to retrieve product from the vending machine for delivery to a user. When the vending machine is mobile, the robot can alternatively move the entirety of the vending machine to a product delivery location.
