hanging rod control device for display rack
A hanging rod control device for a display rack includes a mounting member, a rod, a positioning assembly, a release assembly, a driven device, and a drive device. The mounting member is attached to the display rack. The rod has one end secured to the mounting member with items hung from the rod. The positioning assembly is secured to the mounting member and includes a front plate, a rear fastening member, a shaft interconnecting the front plate and the rear fastening member, and a sliding member having teeth. The release assembly is penetrated by both the shaft and the sliding member and includes arms and positioning plates arranged in alternating fashion. The driven device is disposed in the mounting member and includes a cam and a shaft member operatively connected to the cam.
DEVICE FOR HANDLING AND DISTRIBUTING PACKAGES
A device for the accurate and efficient handling of objects, in particular packages, comprises a pick up group consisting of at least one toothed carrier bar and adapted to rotate according to two limit positions; in one of said positions, the bar disengages the packages; a handling group is provided, such as a main comb, with the function of moving the packages by pushing them when the carrier bar is in the working position.
Vending Machine
A vending machine for vending packaged products having a product compartment, a plurality of delivery arms located in the product compartment, each including a moveable endless chain having a plurality of product hooks. By allowing retention of a product from the top of a package or product, or through the use of a hook retention system, the present invention allows for a larger capacity than current vending machines.
Inventory tracking using RFID
A storage unit includes a support bar for hanging items and an RFID antenna provided within a predefined distance of the support bar. When the items hanging from the support bar are adorned with RFID tags, and the RFID antenna emits electromagnetic fields in a direction of the support bar, RFID signals identifying the items are transmitted from the RFID tags to the RFID antenna, thereby enabling a placement or a removal of an item to be automatically registered, or an accounting of the available items to be automatically performed. The RFID antenna may be a portion of a transmission line that uses shields and/or dielectric materials to shape the electromagnetic fields toward a predefined direction, and the locations of items bearing RFID tags on the support bar may be determined by varying the phase of the emitted radiofrequency and determining strengths of RFID signals when the electromagnetic fields are emitted at varying phases.
AUTOMATED DEVICE AND METHOD FOR RENTING AND SHARING EQUIPMENT
The present application provides an automated device, including a corresponding network system, that dispenses and receives shared/rental equipment such as umbrellas, sporting equipment, safety accessories and consumer electronics. The device preferably has a mechanical guide that is used to hold the shared/rental equipment or its packaging by using an anchoring structure. A tracking system can be used to track the return and rental processes. Ideally, the device utilizes a central database which can be accessed through internet for administrating the transactions (e.g. rental and return processes) with the device as well as tracking the users, inventory and locations.
