The cutting mechanism is configured to automatically separate the desired quantity of the soft good from the soft good supply. The cutting mechanism includes a rotary cutting blade and a rotatable blade adjustment mechanism. The rotary cutting blade is configured to cut the soft good as the rotary cutting blade travels relative to an unwound portion of the soft good. The rotatable blade adjustment mechanism is coupled to the rotary cutting blade and operable to extend the rotary cutting blade from the cutting mechanism and retract the cutting blade into the cutting mechanism.

Component supply unit

To provide a component supply unit capable of reliably cutting a cover tape and reliably exposing an electronic component when using a new storage tape and supplying the electronic component. A tape processing unit includes a cutter successively cutting a cover tape of a storage tape along a traveling direction following traveling of this storage tape. The cutter includes a blade portion having an angular blade portion so inclined frontwardly downward that a blade is angularly formed, and an upper C-chamfered surface (upper worked surface) which is a flat portion whose width in the horizontal direction gradually narrows from a lower end upwardly to reach the angular blade portion on an upper end formed on a forward end portion of this blade portion.

Tablet feeder

A tablet division feeder includes a moving unit to move a tablet T, a fixing blade located in a movement path of the tablet T, and a support plate extending from the fixing blade such that divided tablets T2 on the fixing blade are transferred and kept onto the support plate. The fixing blade divides the tablet T into upper and lower divided tablets as the tablet T is moved in such a manner that the lower divided tablet T1 is discharged and the upper divided tablet T2 is transferred from the fixing blade to the support plate by the moving unit and kept on the support plate. The upper divided tablet T2 is discharged from the support plate as the upper divided tablet T2 is further moved by the moving unit in such a manner that the upper divided tablet T2 is discharged from the moving unit.

Tablet feeder

A tablet division feeder includes a moving unit to move a tablet T, a fixing blade located in a movement path of the tablet T, and a support plate extending from the fixing blade such that divided tablets T2 on the fixing blade are transferred and kept onto the support plate. The fixing blade divides the tablet T into upper and lower divided tablets as the tablet T is moved in such a manner that the lower divided tablet T1 is discharged and the upper divided tablet T2 is transferred from the fixing blade to the support plate by the moving unit and kept on the support plate. The upper divided tablet T2 is discharged from the support plate as the upper divided tablet T2 is further moved by the moving unit in such a manner that the upper divided tablet T2 is discharged from the moving unit.
