20210240474 · 2021-08-05 ·

A datacenter including a first voltage sensor and/or first amperage sensor along with a second voltage sensor and/or second amperage sensor. The first amperage and voltage sensors are associated with a first computing device (FCD) and the second amperage and voltage sensors are associated with a second computing device (SCD). The datacenter also includes an electronic control unit (ECU) that communicates with the FCD and the SCD. The ECU is configured to receive FCD energy consumption information and additional updated FCD energy consumption information via the first voltage and/or amperage sensor(s). FCD energy consumption information is associated with energy consumed by the FCD during a first customer billing cycle. The ECU is also configured to divide a first blockchain mining reward into a first customer portion and a first datacenter portion and withhold the first customer portion when the first datacenter portion is less than a first minimum threshold.

CREATING, MONITORING, AND UPDATING ENERGY TRANSACTIONS USING DISTRIBUTED LEDGER TECHNOLOGY AND CONTRACT CODEX
20210256635 · 2021-08-19 ·

Methods and systems for improved creation, monitoring, and updating of energy transactions are provided. In one embodiment, a method is provided that includes receiving a request to originate a contract for an energy transaction. Transaction information concerning the energy transaction may be received and may identify a type of energy resource and parties for the energy transaction. A requirement for the energy transaction may be identified within the contract codex and at least one condition may be determined based on the requirement. An updated contract may be generated by adding the at least one condition to the contract. Information regarding the updated contract may be stored on the distributed ledger.

DISTRIBUTED ENERGY TRANSACTION MATCHING METHOD BASED ON ENERGY NETWORK CONSTRAINTS AND MULTIPLE KNAPSACK MODEL

This invention provides a distributed energy transaction matching method based on energy network constraints and multiple knapsack model. First, it considers the matching between financial market transactions and actual energy network scheduling, then generates security constraints on the results of distributed transactions. Next, it designs a multiple knapsack model for peer-to-peer distributed transactions, which can meet the common quotation needs of users or producers who issue transactions and achieve efficient matching under energy network security checks. Finally, the model is verified based on the blockchain Ethereum smart contract test verification. This method provides new ideas for the connection between distributed energy trading and actual physical dispatch, proposes an inclusive and efficient matching model for the point-to-point distributed trading market, which has great reference value for the connection between distributed energy trading and actual conditions.

POWER METERING APPARATUS, POWER METERING SERVER, AND POWER METERING METHOD BASED ON BLOCKCHAIN

A power metering apparatus, a power metering server, and a power metering method based on a blockchain are disclosed. Particularly, in order to simultaneously assure integrity and transparency of power metering data based on a blockchain, power metering data generated by measuring an amount of power generated by an energy source and a unique key are stored in a database linked to a power metering server, and a digitally signed hash value of the power metering data is stored in a blockchain node. Accordingly, disclosed are blockchain-based power metering system and method for preventing forgery and tampering of power metering data, solving a problem associated with a blockchain storage capacity that may occur when storing the power metering data, and protecting sensitive information on the power metering data.

INLINE ADAPTER MODULE FOR PROVIDING VENDED POWER SOURCE
20210191443 · 2021-06-24 ·

Techniques for providing electric power are disclosed. In one aspect, an adapter module is retrofit inline with an existing power source for moderating the supply of power via an outlet. In response to receiving a confirmation that a wireless payment has been tendered, the module automatedly activates a switch to provide power to an identified outlet for a predetermined time or until the user device is charged. In another aspect, an adapter module provides a power or data service responsive to information provided by a user via a mobile application. In either case using the retrofit adapter module, payments can be made available using existing infrastructures with only the need for the adapter module.

MICRO PAYMENTS IN A MOBILITY-AS-A-SERVICE NETWORK

Systems and techniques for micro payments in a mobility-as-a-service (MaaS) network are described herein. A mobility task may be received for execution by a MaaS node of the MaaS network. An electronic contract may be established with a requestor of the task. A payment transaction may be initiated based on the mobility task and the electronic contract. The mobility task may be submitted for execution by the MaaS node using resources of the MaaS node. An amount of the payment may be transferred from an electronic account of the requestor to an electronic account of the MaaS node.

METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR AUTOMATICALLY CONTROLLING ELECTRICAL POWER SUPPLY BASED ON PAYMENT STATUS
20210142250 · 2021-05-13 ·

The present disclosure provides methods and systems for automatically controlling power supply from an electrical power supply system to a user location based on payment status. The method performed by a central control unit includes determining a payment status of the electrical power supply system at the user location. The payment status is determined based at least on a time credit associated with the electrical power supply system. The method further includes facilitating control of the power supply from the electrical power supply system to the user location based on determining the time credit. The power supply to the user location from the electrical power supply system is uninterrupted, if the time credit is greater than a predefined threshold value. The power supply to the user location from the electrical power supply system is disconnected, if the time credit is less than the predefined threshold value.
