Method and apparatus for supporting breakable capsule in a conical smoking apparatus
A smoking product and method of making thereof for the consumption of a smokable substance. The product has a hollow conical shape that allows for the easy insertion of smokable substances. Additionally, the conical or frustoconical shape of the product provides for larger amounts of smokable substances in the end of the product the consumer lights, resulting in an initial slower prolonged burn. Additionally, the product includes a supporting filter tip with a frangible capsule contained therein and is packaged for sale in packaging in an unfilled state allowing a user to remove the product from the packaging, fill it with the user's selected custom smokable filler and form a custom smoking product.
ARTICLE FOR USE IN AN AEROSOL PROVISION SYSTEM
An article for use with a non-combustible aerosol provision device comprising a heater, the article comprising: an aerosol generating material comprising at least one aerosol forming material; and a first tubular body disposed downstream of the aerosol generating material, the first tubular body comprising filamentary tow; and a mouth end section disposed downstream of the first tubular body, wherein the article is configured such that when the article is inserted into the non-combustible aerosol provision device, the minimum distance between the heater of the non-combustible aerosol provision device and the first tubular body is at least about 3 mm. A system and a method of manufacture are also described.

DEVICE FOR FILTERING SMOKE
A device for filtering smoke, in particular tobacco and/or cannabis cigarette filters, comprising a jacket, in which jacket there are provided at least a first portion, a second portion and a third portion, the second portion being arranged between the first portion and the third portion, wherein in the first section a first nonwoven filter material, in the second section a porous filter material, and in the third section a second nonwoven filter material being provided in the third section; wherein a fourth section is provided in the jacket, wherein the third section is arranged between the second section and the fourth section, and wherein the fourth section is arranged such that, when flowing through the jacket, a pressure drop across the fourth section is lower than a pressure drop across the third section.
AEROSOL-GENERATING ARTICLE AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THE SAME
An aerosol-generating article and a method of manufacturing the same capable of simultaneously improving satisfaction with a tobacco smoke taste and allowing the aerosol-generating article to be manufactured at low cost are provided. The aerosol-generating article according to some embodiments of the present disclosure may include an aerosol-forming substrate portion which includes shredded tobacco leaves and is configured to form an aerosol when electrically heated by an aerosol generation device and a mouthpiece portion which is disposed downstream of the aerosol-forming substrate portion to form a downstream end of the aerosol-generating article. Since the shredded tobacco leaves are cheaper than a reconstituted tobacco sheet, manufacturing costs of the aerosol-generating article may be reduced. Also, unlike the reconstituted tobacco sheet, since the amount of supplementary materials added to the shredded tobacco leaves is small, an off-taste may be reduced, and thus user satisfaction with a tobacco smoke taste may be improved.
AEROSOL-GENERATING SYSTEM HAVING A VENTILATION CHAMBER
An aerosol-generating system is provided, including: an aerosol-generating article including a rod of aerosol-forming substrate, a filter downstream of the rod, the rod and the filter being assembled within a wrapper, and a ventilation zone located on the wrapper and including apertures extending through the wrapper; and an aerosol-generating device including distal and mouth ends, a housing including a peripheral wall defining a device cavity to removably receive the article at the mouth end, and a heater to heat the substrate when the article is received within the device cavity, such that, when the article is received within the device cavity, the ventilation zone is located within the device cavity and a portion of an internal surface of the peripheral wall overlying the zone is spaced apart from the article to define a ventilation chamber within the peripheral wall.
Aerosol-Generating Substrate Comprising Granulated Flavoured Particles
An aerosol-generating article includes a foamed tobacco-containing aerosol-generating substrate and a plurality of non-tobacco granulated flavour particles incorporated into the aerosol-generating substrate which is provided in the form of a semi-solid matrix. The granulated flavour particles can be distributed evenly in the semi-solid matrix or the granulated flavour particles can be provided in an increasing gradient density towards the longitudinal central axis of the aerosol-generating article.
Smoking article and method
A method of constructing a cigar includes the providing of a plurality of frusto-conically shaped tubes, each tube being of a smokable material such as a spirally wrapped layer of tobacco material. The tubes are nested, one tube inside the other tube. The nested tubes are then attached to a mouthpiece having a socket that is internally threaded. The nested tubes and mouthpiece are packaged either filled with tobacco filler material, partially filled, or unfilled in a container.
ELECTRICALLY HEATED SMOKING ARTICLE
An electrically heated smoking article includes a filter rod, an aerosol medium rod stacked at a lower end of the filter rod and including an aerosol medium that generates an aerosol by heating and a moisture absorbent accommodating or absorbing the aerosol medium, and a wrapping portion surrounding and wrapping the filter rod and the aerosol medium rod to maintain a stack structure. The aerosol medium, including glycerin and a thickener, is maintained in a semi-solid or solid state in a first temperature range including room temperature and is in a liquefied state in a second temperature range higher than the first temperature range. The glycerin vaporizes in a third temperature range higher than the second temperature range to generate an aerosol. The thickener does not vaporize in the third temperature range but remains in the moisture absorbent.
AEROSOL-GENERATING ARTICLE WITH DOWNSTREAM SECTION HAVING LOW RTD
An aerosol-generating article is provided, including: a rod of aerosol-generating substrate, the aerosol-generating substrate including one or more aerosol formers, a content of aerosol former in the aerosol-generating substrate being between 10 percent and 20 percent by weight on a dry weight basis; a mouthpiece element located downstream of the rod of aerosol-generating substrate, the mouthpiece element including at least one mouthpiece filter segment formed of a fibrous filtration material and a resistance to draw of the mouthpiece filter segment being between 4 mm H.sub.2O and 11 mm H.sub.2O; and a hollow tubular element located between the rod of aerosol-generating substrate and the mouthpiece element, a combined length of the hollow tubular element and the mouthpiece element being between 24 mm and 32 mm. An aerosol-generating system is also provided, including the aerosol-generating article and an aerosol-generating device including a heating chamber to receive the article and a heating element.
