A graphene adsorbing material, a preparation method therefor and application thereof, and a cigarette filter tip and a cigarette are provided. The graphene adsorbing material comprises a fiber carrier, graphene and doped elements wherein the graphene and the doped elements are loaded on the fiber carrier and the doped elements comprise at least one of Al, Si and Fe. The graphene adsorbing material is obtained by contacting the fibers with the graphene material to load the graphene material on the fibers. By introducing the graphene and the doped elements in the fiber carrier, harmful substances with a type of fused aromatic hydrocarbons such as benzopyrene in smoke can be specifically adsorbed, filtered and removed; while nicotine and the other harmless substances are retained, and thus the smoking taste of a cigarette is not affected. The cigarette filter tip can effectively adsorb cancerogenic substances with a type of fused aromatic hydrocarbons such as benzopyrene in smoke to reduce harm of smoking; meanwhile, the pleasure of smoking and the mellow taste of the smoke are not affected. Besides, the graphene adsorbing material can also prevent the phenomenon that a cigarette holder gets mildewed due to humid environment and the other factors.
MULTI-SEGMENT COMPONENT WITH INTUMESCENT COATING
A multi-segment component for an aerosol-generating article is provided, the multi-segment component including: a combustible heat source; an aerosol-forming substrate downstream of the combustible heat source; and a wrapper circumscribing a rear portion of the combustible heat source and at least a front portion of the aerosol-forming substrate, a front portion of the combustible heat source extending beyond the wrapper so that the front portion of the combustible heat source is exposed during use; and an intumescent coating on all or part of the front portion of the combustible heat source, the intumescent coating being configured to form a heat insulating layer on the front portion of the combustible heat source in response to heating by the combustible heat source.

An aerosol-generating article including a plurality of elements assembled in the form of a rod is provided, the elements including: a first element including an aerosol-generating substrate; and a tubular element positioned upstream or downstream of the first element, the tubular element including: a tubular body defining a cavity extending from a first end of the tubular body to a second end of the tubular body, and a folded end portion forming a first end wall at the first end of the tubular body, the first end wall delimiting an opening for airflow between the cavity and an exterior of the tubular element, the cavity in the tubular element being an empty cavity.
Smoking Article and Method for Manufacturing a Smoking Article
The invention relates to a smoking article having a cylindrical shape with a longitudinal axis running through respective base areas of a distal end and a mouth end of the smoking article. The smoking article segments are at least in part wrapped in a circumferential wrapper and arranged subsequently in from the distal to the mouth end as follows: a. a tobacco segment comprising tobacco or tobacco derived smokable material, b. a cooling segment having a first flow path from the tobacco segment to a filter segment, c. the filter segment comprising a second flow path from the cooling segment to the mouth end.
The filter segment comprises a tobacco product including tobacco particles having an average particle size of 30 m and a dispersion medium for dispersing the tobacco particles. The invention also comprises a method for manufacturing such a smoking article.

An aerosol generating article including a tubular element is provided, the tubular element including: a tubular body defining a cavity extending from a first end of the tubular body to a second end of the tubular body, the cavity having an area as measured perpendicular to a longitudinal direction of the tubular element; and a folded end portion forming a first end wall at a first end of the tubular body, the first end wall delimiting an opening for airflow between the cavity and an exterior of the tubular element, the opening having an area, as measured perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the tubular element, of from about 0.6 percent to about 60 percent of an area of the cavity.

A tube (10) for temporary affixment to a mouthpiece of a smoking article (80), the tube (10) comprising an open upstream end, an open downstream end, an outer surface, and an inner surface defining a lumen for receiving the mouthpiece of the smoking article, the lumen extending from the open upstream end to the open downstream end; the tube further comprising a first ventilation zone (50) for providing ventilation into the lumen of the tube, the first ventilation zone comprising a first line of perforation holes (52) circumscribing the tube at a location at least 10 mm from the open downstream end of the tube.

An aerosol-generating device is provided, including a housing having a chamber configured to receive at least a portion of an aerosol-forming article; a first coil disposed at least partially around, or adjacent to, the chamber; and a second coil disposed at least partially around, or adjacent to, the chamber, with an inductance of the first coil being between 1.1 and 2 times greater than an inductance of the second coil.
