A dispenser of hygiene products, including feminine pads and tampons activated by a motion sensor. A motion of a person's hand or other object within a given distance from the motion sensor will close an electronic circuit causing a motor to rotate. The motor is attached to a shaft which rotates. The shaft retains a product dispenser. The product dispenser transports one of the hygiene products to a retrieval tray. A time delay reduces the likelihood of or prevents someone from continuously activating the motion sensor to dispense all of the products in the machine.

The methods comprise: detecting, by the vending massage chair, when a mobile communication device is located in proximity to the vending massage chair; triggering operations by the vending massage chair to relinquish operational control to the mobile communication device, in response to a detection that the mobile communication device is proximate to the vending massage chair; receiving, by the vending massage chair, a wireless signal that was transmitted from the mobile communication device; performing operations, by the vending massage chair, to relinquish control of at least one massage chair operation to the mobile communication device in response to a reception of the wireless signal; and performing the at least one massage chair operation by the vending massage chair in response to a wireless command issued by the mobile communication device.

Tampon dispensing devices and methods for using the same are provided. In some embodiments, a tampon dispensing device includes a display that presents one or more codes for receiving a tampon, an actuator that is connected to a spindle structure that dispenses the tampon from a plurality of tampons stored in a storage unit, and a controller that is connected to the display and the actuator, where the controller is configured to: receive, from a server, a code for dispensing one of the plurality of tampons; present the received code on the display; receive, from the server, a request to dispense one of the plurality of tampons from the storage unit; and transmit an instruction to the actuator that causes the actuator to rotate a spindle structure such that the tampon is dispensed from the storage unit into a dispensing area.

A system and associated method are provided for maintenance of a plurality of washroom facilities by maintenance personnel, wherein each of the washroom facilities has one or more consumable product dispensers that require periodic refill. For each of the washroom facilities, the product dispensers are configured with a sensor that detects a product level or amount condition of the product dispenser, the sensors in communication with a monitoring station assigned to the washroom facility. A set of instructions unique to each of the washroom facilities is generated based upon the detected product level or amount conditions of the dispensers in the respective washroom facility, the set of instructions including instructions as to the amount of product refill to be added to the dispensers. With an identification (ID) system configured within each washroom facility, maintenance personnel that enter the washroom facility are identified and provided with the unique set of instructions in a message via a mobile smart device carried by the maintenance personnel or an audio or visual display device within the washroom facility.

The system for providing a smart communication device-based light therapy service includes a smart communication device through which a screen for purchasing a lightceutical clinical code including a wavelength of light, an intensity of light, an irradiation time of light, and an irradiation pattern of light is output and configured to receive a lightceutical clinical code from an information providing server and send the received lightceutical clinical code to a light therapy device or generate a light therapy device control signal in accordance with the lightceutical clinical code and send the generated light therapy device control signal to the light therapy device when a payment for a purchase of the lightceutical clinical code is completed in conjunction with a financial payment server, the information providing server configured to read the lightceutical clinical code from an information providing server DB and send the read lightceutical clinical code to the smart communication device when the payment for the lightceutical clinical code is completed by the smart communication device operating in conjunction with the financial payment server, and the light therapy device configured to operate in accordance with the lightceutical clinical code or the light therapy device control signal received from the smart communication device.
