Printer
According to an embodiment, a printer includes a printer unit configured to print images on paper, a connector connectable to a detachable storage medium, and a controller. The controller is configured to acquire time information from the storage medium when the storage medium is connected to connector, and then store output information in the storage medium. The output information includes device information related to a print function of the printer unit and the acquired timing information in association with each other. The printer may lack an internal clock yet still output information associated with time information.
POINT OF SALE SYSTEM WITH HINGE STRUCTURE FOR MULTIPLE POSITIONS
Embodiments include a point of sale system. The point of sale system includes a base, a stand coupled to the base, and a head unit coupled to the stand. The point of sale system further includes two outer hinge arms and an inner hinge arm that couple the head unit to the stand.
MEDIUM PROCESSING APPARATUS
The present disclosure provides a medium processing apparatus, including: a housing provided with a surface facing a customer operating the medium processing apparatus; and a rolled coin device housed in the housing and configured to process rolled coins formed by bundling a plurality of loose coins. The surface of the housing includes a designated area located in a height range conforming to Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) standard with respect to a height direction of the medium processing apparatus, and a rolled coin dispensing port of the rolled coin device for dispensing the rolled coins is arranged in the designated area.
Money handling apparatus and money handling method
A money handling apparatus (for example, a banknote handling apparatus) includes a destination selector configured to select a storage unit where at least one of a counterfeit money and suspect money among the money transported by the transporting unit is to be transported, from the plurality of storage units (for example, each banknote storage unit, each storage/feeding unit, collecting unit, banknote ejecting unit, and the like) and a controller configured to control the transporting unit to transport at least one of the counterfeit money and suspect money to the storage unit selected by the destination selector among the plurality of storage units.
SENSING AND DIGITAL DISPLAY TYPE WEIGHING AND CODE SCANNING INTEGRATED MACHINE WITH DAMPING AND DUST-PROOF SMART CASE
A sensing and digital display type weighing and code scanning integrated machine with a damping and dust-proof smart case includes a case device. A weigher is placed at an upper end of the case device. A code scanning device is fixedly connected to the upper end of the case device. The case device includes a case, a guide hole, a threaded hole, a through groove, a groove, a fan, a case door, a magnet, a guide rod, a first spring, a host base, a first clamping groove, a computer host, a filter cartridge, a circular groove and an efficient filter screen. The case door is hinged to the case. The magnet is fixedly connected to the case door. The guide rod is slidably nested in the case. The host base is fixedly connected to an upper end of the guide rod. The computer host is clamped in the host base.
POINT OF SALE DEVICE FOR MOBILE COMPUTING DEVICE
Point of sale (POS) systems and methods are described. A POS device includes a housing with a payment instrument reader. The payment instrument reader reads payment instrument information from a payment instrument in response to receipt of the payment instrument at a read area of the housing. The POS device includes a first fastening mechanism that secures the housing to a mount that is coupled to a surface of the environment. The POS device includes a cradle of the housing that receives a mobile computing device. The POS device includes a second fastening mechanism that secures the mobile computing device within the cradle. The POS device includes a connector coupled to the payment instrument reader and extending into the cradle. The connector is configured to couple to the mobile computing device in the cradle, to convey the payment instrument information from the payment instrument reader to the mobile computing device.
POINT OF SALE DEVICES
Point of sale devices are disclosed. A register point-of-sale system may include: a register base; a customer screen that is removeable received by the register base; a merchant screen adjustably mounted on the register base; and a card reader integrated into the customer screen. A mobile payment terminal system may include: a mobile payment terminal comprising a wireless card reader, magnetic stripe reader, slot that receives a chip card, a screen, and an integrated receipt printer; and a dock that removably receives the mobile payment terminal. A mobile card reader system may include a cylindrical mobile card reader comprising a screen, a wireless card reader, a magnetic stripe reader, a slot that receives a chip card, and a plurality of base slots that receive a plurality of base latches; and a cylindrical base with an angled end and latches.
INTERACTIVE INFORMATION SYSTEM WITH MODULAR STRUCTURE
An interactive information system includes a first frame, a second frame, and a first inter-frame cable. A first interactive module is arranged in the first frame and includes a first display module; a first touch input module; at least one first user input device; a first control module bridge board configured to transmit intra-frame electrical signals; a first interactive module bridge board configured to transmit inter-frame signals; and a first intra-frame cable. A control module is arranged in the second frame and includes a logic module configured to generate the first GUI and to perform function of the interactive information system based on user inputs. The first interactive module and the control module are electrically coupled via only the first inter-frame cable. Both the first frame and the second frame contain an electro-magnetic (EM) shielding material.
Tamper detection based on flexible member connecting circuitry elements
A point of sale (POS) device includes tamper detection circuitry in which one or more flexible members that each include multiple side-by-side conductive traces connect two circuit boards, optionally so that one circuit board must remain very close to the other if the device remains in a secure un-tampered-with state. Severance of a trace of the flexible member, or disconnection of the flexible member from either circuit board, may result in unexpected voltage sensor readings indicative of a tamper attempt.
Tamper detection based on removal of fastener from recess
A point of sale (POS) device includes a flexible member with two exposed conductive areas that are part of a tamper detection circuit. While a recess receives a screw, the screw passes through apertures in the flexible member and in a conductive gasket, and the conductive gasket connects the two exposed conductive areas to one another, closing the tamper detection circuit. Adhesives affix the flexible member to the screw and the conductive gasket to the recess opening so that removing the screw from the recess separates the conductive gasket from the two exposed conductive areas, opening the tamper detection circuit.
