Methods, System, and Apparatus for Touchless Terminal Interface Interaction
A touch field is created around a touchscreen display, the field is in front of a touch surface of the display and the field maps to locations on the display. An operator of a terminal during a transaction is presented with transaction interface screens that are visually rendered on the display. The operator makes interface options selections, performs screen navigation, and provides date entry field inputs by placing the operator's hand within the field without touching the touch surface of the display and making hand poses, hand movements, and/or hand gestures. The poses, movements, and/or gestures are translated into touch actions and touch inputs recognized by the transaction interface and processed as operator-provided input during the transaction.
CHECKOUT DEVICE
A checkout device according to an embodiment includes a bill discharge port and a coin discharge port. The bill discharge port is disposed in a left side upper part of a front surface of a housing and discharges bills. The coin discharge port is disposed below the bill discharge port and discharges coins.
Activating Monetization for Uncompensated Online Content Creators
A method of incorporating identifiable copyrighted work into an uncompensated content creator's content, so that the platform will detect the presence of the copyrighted work and pay revenues to the copyright owner, and the copyright owner then shares the revenues with the content creator. An agreement is made between the uncompensated content creator and the copyright owner that revenue received by the copyright owner from the platform as a result of the uncompensated content creator incorporating the copyright owner's copyrighted work into the uncompensated content creator's content will be shared with the content creator by the copyright owner.
COIN DEPOSITING DEVICE
A coin depositing device comprises a coin depositing port including a funnel-shaped inclined surface and a hole, arranged at the lowermost part of the inclined surface, through which a coin slid down along the inclined surface is deposited, and a money placing section including a money placing surface connecting with an upper end of a part of the inclined surface and a guide wall arranged at an edge part of the money placing surface, wherein the inclined surface includes a first inclined surface connecting with the money placing surface and a second inclined surface facing the first inclined surface across the hole, and a lower end of the first inclined surface is located at the bottom side of the hole below a lower end of the second inclined surface.
Systems and methods for providing articulating point-of-sale apparatuses or devices
Embodiments of the disclosure can include systems and methods for providing articulating point-of-sale (POS) apparatuses or devices, such as displays. In one embodiment, an articulating point-of-sale (POS) display assembly may include a base and a movable arm attached to the base. The movable arm may be configured to move from a first position to a second position with respect to the base. The assembly may further include a pivotable display device attached to the movable arm. The pivotable display device may be configured to pivot from a third position to a fourth position with respect to the movable arm. The assembly may also include an arm joint attaching the movable arm to the base, and a pivot joint attaching the pivotable display device to the movable arm.
Operating modes for a point of sale peripheral device
In some examples, a device for applying an operating mode to a point of sale (POS) peripheral device can include a non-transitory machine readable medium storing instructions executable by a processing resource to detect a peripheral device, access a configuration file based on the detected peripheral device, wherein the configuration file includes a plurality of operating modes associated with the detected peripheral device, and apply one of the plurality of operating modes to the detected peripheral device.
PRODUCT ID ENHANCED OFF-PLATTER DETECTION SYSTEM
An example product identification and weighing apparatus for use with a POS terminal includes a weigh platter; a scale configured to measure a weight of the item when placed on the weigh platter; an off-platter detection assembly configured to detect an off-platter condition; a product identification assembly configured to identify the item; a communication interface configured to communicate with the POS terminal; a processor in communication with the scale, the off-platter detection assembly, and the communication interface; and a non-transitory machine-readable storage medium storing instructions that, when executed by the processor, cause the object recognition and weighing apparatus to, responsive to detecting the off-platter condition, prevent a transmission of the identified item to the POS terminal until the off-platter condition is no longer detected.
Money handling apparatus
A money handling apparatus that handles money includes an inlet for taking in money; a money storing unit that stores therein the money; an outlet for dispensing the money; a money transport unit that transports the money between the inlet and the outlet, and the money storing unit; a money recognition unit that is provided to the transport unit and recognizes the money; a check receiving port for receiving a check; a scanner that scans the check to acquire a check image; a check transport unit that transports the check between the check receiving port and the scanner; a check recognition unit that recognizes check information that includes at least a check amount from the check image acquired by the scanner; and a control unit that dispenses money equivalent to an amount of difference between a transaction amount acquired from outside the money handling apparatus and a sum of the check amount and an amount of the deposited money.
Commodity sales data processing apparatus and method for taking over processing by the same
In accordance with one embodiment, a commodity sales data processing apparatus comprises a stationary type docking station with a storage module, and a portable information terminal which is attached to and detached from the docking station freely. The information terminal receives an input of data relating to the sales of a commodity to process the received data, and stores the data required to take over the processing in the storage module of the docking station Then the information terminal successively executes, if the information terminal is attached to the docking station, the processing by referring to the data stored in the storage module of the docking station.
PRINTING DEVICE, AND CONTROL METHOD OF A PRINTING DEVICE
Power can be supplied to a smart device without affecting control of a cash drawer. A printer 1 capable of connecting to a smart device 2 and a cash drawer 3 has a wireless communicator 16 for communicating with the smart device 2, a drawer kick connector 18 that connects to the drawer 3, a power circuit 14, and a controller 11. When a command instructing control of the drawer 3 is received from the smart device 2 by the wireless communicator 16, the controller 11 stops the supply of power from the power circuit 14 to the smart device 2; and when control of the drawer 3 ends, the controller 11 starts supplying power to the smart device 2.
