A wireless remote is communicatively coupled to the radio frequency relay switch. Activating the wireless remote directs the printed circuit board to provide power to the plurality of strobe lights creating the emergency notification.

The device may be configured for activation by a mobile phone or other mobile device which may be connected to the device via wireless communication. Furthermore, the mobile device may comprise a software application that can be used to alert persons in a contact list regarding the user's location and emergency status.

Threat identification devices, systems, and methods are disclosed which identify and locate various threats and provide a variety of countermeasures to reduce the loss of life in an attack. In one implementation, a device is provided with a housing and a plurality of tubes coupled to and extending from the housing. Sensors are located within the tubes for sensing external conditions. A control unit is in electronic communication with the sensors. Upon detection of an external condition, the sensors transmit a signal to the control unit, which activates countermeasures, including rotating light sources to identify the location of the external condition as well as preferred escape routes. The control unit may also transmit signals to other devices in the environment, including video panels and speakers, to provide instructions.

An instant alert notifier and docking station for use in emergency situations. Several notifiers and docking station can be located through a building. In a use, the user presses a button and pulls the device cover, which causes the notifier to (1) snap a still image of the person removing the notifier, (2) trigger a “code red” alert and/or activate flashing red LEDS on the docking stations where they are located throughout the building and/or (3) switch from a front to a rear camera operation. Using the notifier, real time video, and still images can be captured and uploaded to first responder devices. The pressing of the button or removal of the notifier from the docking station can also cause the system to stream live video to the first responders from all of the other notifiers in the building still contained within their docking stations.

A beacon with a preferably anodized aluminum body, cylindrical in shape, and threaded employs a beacon modulation scheme for MWIR/LWIR beacons in which multiple frequencies of emission are overlaid, such as the addition of a high frequency pulse, several orders of magnitude faster than the low frequency blink, the high frequency modulation being beyond the capability of unaided human perception. This modulation would allow a high-speed detector and associated software to lock onto an asset in the presence of background radiation which would otherwise drown out the signal of interest.
