A method for detecting intrusions in a monitored volume in which: N tridimensional sensors acquire local point clouds in respective local coordinate systems, a central processing unit receives the acquired local point clouds and, for each sensor, computes updated tridimensional position and orientation of the sensor in a global coordinate system of the monitored volume by aligning a local point cloud acquired by said tridimensional sensor with a global tridimensional map of the monitored volume, and generates an aligned local point cloud on the basis of the updated tridimensional position and orientation of the sensor, the central processing unit monitors an intrusion in the monitored volume by comparing a free space of the aligned local point cloud with a free space of the global tridimensional map.
Artificial intelligence (AI)-based security systems for monitoring and securing physical locations
Various aspects of the disclosure relate to monitoring a physical location to determine and/or predict anomalous activities. One or more machine learning algorithms may be used to analyze inputs from one or more sensors, cameras, audio recording equipment, and/or any other types of sensors to detect anomalous measurements/patterns. Notifications may be sent one or more devices in a network based on the detection.

Methods and systems for identifying abnormal sounds in a particular environment. A normal audio stream obtained in the absence of abnormal sounds may be used as a baseline for subsequently processing an incoming audio stream with a processor to determine whether the incoming audio stream from the microphone in the particular environment includes an abnormal audio event for the particular environment. When it is determined that the incoming audio stream includes an abnormal audio event for the particular environment an electronic database may be accessed to determine a location of the abnormal audio event in the particular environment. A video camera with a field of view that includes the location of the abnormal audio event in the particular environment may be identified and the video stream from the identified video camera retrieved and displayed.

Gunshot detection system with forensic data retention, live audio monitoring, and two-way communication
A gunshot detection system includes gunshot sensor units with microphones for detecting gunshots and capturing audio data depicting the detected gunshots and other ambient sounds, an environmental board with various environmental sensors for generating environmental data indicating environmental conditions. The audio data, environmental data, and position information can be stored locally on local nonvolatile storage of the gunshot sensor unit for later retrieval by law enforcement entities. In one embodiment, the gunshot sensor units include a wired and/or wireless data transfer interface for transferring the audio data, environmental data and/or position information to handheld units of law enforcement entities. The gunshot sensor unit can also stream live captured audio data for live monitoring by a control pane, and might also include speakers for providing audio playback of audio data from the control panel.

A presence of a person at a first location within the building is detected using a sensor. Whether the presence of the person at the first location is acceptable is determined in response to detecting the presence of the person at the first location. Then, in response to determining that the presence of the person at the first location is unacceptable, an output device is triggered to output an electronic lure signal to lure the person to a second location that is distant from the first location. The electronic lure signal is based on a category of the person.
System and method for local gunshot detection and camera positioning
An apparatus. The apparatus may include a device housing; a camera; a plurality of microphones inside or mounted to the device housing; and a processor inside the device housing and electrically coupled to the plurality of microphones. The processor can be configured to receive a set of audio data from each of the plurality of microphones; execute a machine learning model using each of the sets of audio data as input to determine whether the set of audio data corresponds to an actionable sound; determine a location of the actionable sound relative to a location of the camera based on a plurality of sets of audio data determined to correspond to the actionable sound; and rotate the camera towards the determined location of the actionable sound.
