Configurable security system
Systems, methods and apparatus are described to selectively monitor a portion of a premises by a security system. A security system may contain a central security monitoring device in communication with a plurality of security sensors, and central security monitoring device may receive a command to actively monitor a first portion of a premises monitored by the security system, and in response to receiving the command, cause one or more security alerts to occur when an alarm signal is received from a security sensor located in the first portion of the premises, while ignoring alarm signals received from security sensors located in other portions of the premises.

ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENT REFRIGERATOR AND CONTROL METHOD OF THE SAME
An artificial intelligent refrigerator includes: a main body; a storage compartment provided inside the main body and comprising a plurality of separate storage sections; a door part for opening and closing the storage compartment; a memory in which user authentication information corresponding to each of the storage sections is registered; and a controller that, once a user is authenticated through a predetermined authentication means, opens the door part and unlocks a storage section belonging to the authenticated user, among all of the storage sections, to make the corresponding storage section available.
Integrated security for multiple access control systems
Systems and techniques are described for an integrated security environment to monitor activities at a commercial facility and a residential facility. In some implementations, a monitoring system monitors a property that includes one or more sensors located at the property and generate sensor data. A monitor control unit receives and analyzes the sensor data. Based on analyzing the sensor data, the monitor control unit determines that an event has likely occurred at the property and generates data indicating that the event has likely occurred at the property. A monitoring server receives the data indicating the event has likely occurred at the property. Based on the data that the event has likely occurred at the property, transmitting, to an additional monitoring system that is configured to monitor an additional property, instructions for the additional monitoring system to perform an action.

Self-identifying, multi-function sensor device and monitoring system including same
A home security and automation system includes multi-sensor sensor devices that communicate with a base unit. Each sensor device is a self-identifying multi-function device that includes a housing, multiple sensors disposed in the housing, and a communication device disposed in the housing that permits communication between the sensor device and the base unit. Each sensor device is configured to be operated in multiple operating modes, and an active operating mode of each sensor device, corresponding to one operating mode selected from the several possible operating modes, is determined by the orientation in space of the sensor device housing. The base unit is configured to receive from each sensor device information identifying the active operating mode.

ANTI-SWEEPING HOOK WITH INTEGRATED LOSS PREVENTION FUNCTIONALITY
An anti-sweeping hook that includes a display hook for storing retail merchandise. The display hook is substantially straight and having a first end and a second end opposite the first end. A helical coil is disposed about the display hook and extending along a lengthwise portion of the display hook. The helical coil has a first coil end proximate the first end of the display hook. Rotation of the helical coil in a first direction loads the retail merchandise onto the display hook. Rotation of the helical coil in a second direction opposite the first direction removes the retail merchandise from the display hook. A rotating handle is attached to the first end of the display hook and to the first coil end. The rotating handle is configured to determine an extent of rotation for the rotating handle.
