Locks, systems and methods of monitoring a lock, the lock having a hub with a slot rotatable by a handle to open and close a latchbolt. A locking member is moveable into and out of engagement with the hub slot to prevent and permit movement of the hub and latchbolt. A sensor on the lock, adjacent the hub and locking member, monitors a moving lock component. The sensor may sense the position of the locking member in or out of engagement with the hub slot. The sensor may be a reed switch actuated by a magnet on the moving lock component. The lock may further include a magnet mounted on the hub and the sensor may comprise a reed switch capable of being actuated by the magnet on the hub. The lock and system may include an external control unit having an alarm for controlling operation of the lock.

In one aspect, a system includes multiple robotic devices, multiple sensors, wherein the multiple sensors includes a first sensor, multiple charging stations, and a monitor control unit. The monitor control unit may include a network interface, one or more processors, and one or more storage devices that include instructions to cause the one or more processors to perform operations. The operations may include receiving data from the first sensor that is indicative of an alarm event, accessing information describing the capabilities of the each of the robotic devices, selecting a subset of robotic devices from the multiple robotic devices, and transmitting a command to each robotic device in the subset of robotic devices that instructs each respective robotic device to deploy to the location of the first sensor.

A wireless, proximity-based security system for securing or tracking a valuable object. The system includes a base station and a plurality of security fobs. The security fobs are tracked via an ultra-wideband transceiver relative to an outer perimeter. An administrator fob pairs each of the security fobs with the base station. An audible alarm emits from base and/or the fobs when the location of the security fob is detected to be beyond the outer perimeter. A haptic alarm emits from fob when the location of the security fob is detected to be beyond a sub-perimeter.

The invention automatically detects a gunshot at a plurality of detection and response nodes distributed in an area, determines the location of the active shooter, and deploys a suppression response to the location of the active shooter from each of the plurality of detection and response nodes to prevent the active shooter from firing further gunshots.

A remotely-controlled, movable, magnetic system and method for surveillance and attack prevention. The system includes a motive apparatus including a mounting body for mounting a series of magnets and wheels or rollers and suspending the apparatus from a magnetic ceiling T-bar grid or alternative metal track. The wheels or rollers make contact with the T-bars or track; provide some space between the magnets and T-bars or track; and allow for movement of the system along the T-bar grid or track. One or more of the wheels is drivingly connected to a drive motor. The system further includes a processor, an input/output interface, and a remote computing device or remote control for controlling the motive apparatus via a communications network. The motive apparatus further mounts components and tools remotely controlled by a user for observing, identifying a potential attacker, and hindering a potential attack.

A remotely-controlled, movable, magnetic system and method for surveillance and attack prevention. The system includes a motive apparatus including a mounting body for mounting a series of magnets and wheels or rollers and suspending the apparatus from a magnetic ceiling T-bar grid or alternative metal track. A portable electric fence kit for the erection of a temporary electric fence comprising: a primary fence section which is portable and non-electrified having two or more poles, a secondary fence section having two or more insulated poles secured to the poles of the primary fence section and having the ability to be electrified using a plurality of wires spanning the distance between the insulated poles, a plurality of wires spanning the distance between the insulated poles, system controls operationally associated with the fence sections, a power source operationally associated with the fence sections and the system controls, the power source providing electricity to the secondary fence sections and a coupling means which allows for one section of the fence kit and its wires to be coupled to another section of the fence kit and its wires.
