SAFETY CORRIDOR ARRANGEMENT
The invention relates to a safety corridor arrangement for use in emergency situations, including an activation means, an operation means, associated with an activation centre, and a safety corridor suitable to guide or direct a person on a particular pathway. The activation centre, through activation of the activation means can cause operation of the operation means, and the operation means creates the safety corridor to guide a person along the safety corridor towards an exit. The invention also relates to a point of exit arrangement, and methods of use.

An aspirating smoke sensing device, method, and apparatus for fire detection are provided, and the device is provided with a charger (2), a charge collector (3), a controller (4), an air intake structure (1), and a negative pressure source for air path detection (9). The air intake structure (1) is communicated with an input port of the charger (2), an output port of the charger (2) is communicated with the charge collector (3), an output port of the charge collector (3) is communicated with the negative pressure source for air path detection (9), and the controller (4) is electrically connected to the charge collector (3).
Autonomous robot
A robot in a location interacts with a user. The robot includes a camera, an image recognition processor, a microphone and a loudspeaker, a voice assistant, and a wireless transceiver. The robot moves around and creates a model of the location, and recognizes changes. It recognizes objects of interest, beings, and situations. The robot monitors the user and recognizes body language and gesture commands, as well as voice commands. The robot communicates with the user, the TV, and other devices. It may include environment sensors and health status sensors. It acts as a user companion by answering queries, executing commands, and issuing reminders. It may monitor to determine if the user is well. The robot may monitor objects of interest, their placement and their status. When necessary, it communicates with the user.
THERMAL-SENSING FIRE DOOR
A fire door system is disclosed herein. The fire door system comprises a door and a door control unit coupled to the door. A plurality of sensors is configured on the door or adjacent the door. A controller is coupled to the door control unit and the plurality of sensors. The controller facilitates activation of the motorized door unit for maintaining the door in a closed position subsequent to sensing of a surrounding temperature by the plurality of sensors, wherein the surrounding temperature is greater than a threshold temperature.
HEAT SENSOR AND SMOKE AND HEAT FIRE DETECTOR
A heat sensor includes a base and a heat sensor body. The base is to be mounted onto a mounting surface of a building. The heat sensor body has a bottomed cylindrical shape and is to be attached to the base. The heat sensor body includes an opening, a board, a heat detection unit, and at least one wall member. The at least one wall member controls flow of a gas to cause the gas that passed through the opening to flow toward the heat detection unit. The at least one wall member separates the flow of the gas that has entered the heat sensor body from an external space through the opening into a plurality of gas flows and directs one of the plurality of gas flows, which has been separated to flow beside an inner surface of the heat sensor body, toward the heat detection unit.

A heat sensor includes a base and a heat sensor body. The base is to be mounted onto a mounting surface of a building. The heat sensor body has a bottomed cylindrical shape and is to be attached to the base. The heat sensor body includes an opening, a board, a heat detection unit, and at least one wall member. The at least one wall member controls flow of a gas to cause the gas that passed through the opening to flow toward the heat detection unit. The present invention relates to: a smart fire-extinguishing device for automatically performing a fire-extinguishing operation by detecting the outbreak of a fire; and a smart fire-extinguishing system including same, and provides a smart fire-extinguishing device comprising: a chemical storage part in which fire-extinguishing chemicals are filled; a fuse part for exhibiting explosive force so that the fire-extinguishing chemicals of the chemical storage part are jetted to the outside; and a fire detection part, which detects at least one from among temperature, flames and smoke, compares a detection result with a pre-set fire outbreak reference value so as to determine whether a fire breaks out, and operates the fuse part according to a determination result so as to jet out the fire-extinguishing chemicals.

An aspirating smoke detection unit 1 for limiting the spread of airborne contaminants. The aspirating smoke detection unit 1 includes a smoke detector 5 for detecting the presence of smoke particles suspended in air from a monitored region; an ozone generator 7 for producing ozone from oxygen contained in air from the monitored region 20; and an ionizer 8 for ionizing air molecules within air from the monitored region 20. A methods of reducing the spread of airborne contaminants within a monitored region 20 using the aspirating smoke detection unit 1.
