DETECTION SYSTEM AND METHOD FEATURING MULTISPECTRAL IMAGING DEVICE
Embodiments of the disclosure include systems and methods for detection of background and foreground radiances captured by a multispectral imaging device. In some embodiments, a multispectral imaging device may generate a plurality of images of the same field of view, wherein the images may be captured at a variety of wavelengths. These images may be processed to identify any incidents, such as fire and/or gas leaks, within the field of view of the imaging device.
STOPPER-TYPE CHARGING DEVICE AND DRIVING METHOD THEREOF
The present invention relates to a stopper-type charging device and a driving method thereof, wherein the stopper-type charging device includes an emergency bell unit that is provided on a main body part of a stopper for a vehicle installed on a floor of a parking lot and operates to prevent crime in a surveillance blind spot in the parking lot, a light emitting unit that guides a vehicle parked in the parking lot to be parked in a parking section for charging, and operates as a flash to illuminate a periphery of the vehicle, and a sensor unit that detects a fire by detecting a flame of the vehicle being charged.
SMOKE DETECTION SYSTEM AND SMOKE DETECTION METHOD
The present disclosure discloses a smoke detection system and a smoke detection method. The smoke detection system includes a camera, a storage unit, and a processor. The camera acquires a current image and a previous image. The storage unit stores a plurality of modules. The processor is coupled with the camera and executes the plurality of modules. The processor generates a difference image based on the current image and the previous image. The processor inputs the current image and the difference image to a semantic segmentation model so that the semantic segmentation model outputs a smoke confidence map. The smoke confidence map is generated based on whether a current environment is a dark environment or a bright environment. The processor analyzes the smoke confidence map to determine whether a smoke event occurs in the current image. Therefore, a reliable smoke detection function can be achieved.
Information provision system
Provided is an information provision system capable of reducing secondary damage in the case of a disaster. The information provision system includes: a vehicle; and an information provision apparatus communicatively connected to the vehicle and configured to provide information to the vehicle. The information provision apparatus includes an acquirer that acquires fire-related information indicating information about fire, a fire detector that detects an occurrence of fire based on the fire-related information, and a fire information generator that generates, in response to the detection of the occurrence of fire by the fire detector, fire avoidance information for avoiding the fire, and transmits the fire avoidance information to the vehicle. The vehicle includes an information receiver that receives the fire avoidance information, and a display controller that causes a display to display the fire avoidance information.
Smoke alarm mounting and dismounting system and method
A method of mounting and dismounting a smoke alarm from a supporting element mounted to an overhead surface; said method including the steps of, inserting an elongate implement into an opening provided in a body of the smoke alarm, and applying a force via the elongate implement so as to detach the body of the smoke alarm from the supporting element, and wherein the elongate implement is applied by a user standing on a floor surface below the overhead surface.
Method of and system for flame sensing and diagnostic
A method of determining presence of a flame in a furnace of a heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) system. The method comprises determining, using a controller, whether a processor signal (G) is active, responsive to a determination that the processor signal (G) is active, determining, using the controller prior to assertion of a flame-test input control signal, an output state of a first comparator, responsive to a determination that the output state of the first comparator is high, determining, using the controller prior to assertion of the flame-test input control signal, an output state of a second comparator, and responsive to a determination that the output state of the second comparator is low, transmitting, using the controller, a notification that a flame is present.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR IDENTIFYING SMOKING IN VEHICLES
A vehicle system includes: smoke sensors located at different locations within a passenger cabin of a vehicle and configured to measure amounts of cigarette smoke at the locations, respectively, within the passenger cabin of the vehicle; and a smoking module configured to, based on the measured amounts of cigarette smoke, determine that: a smoking event occurred at a first location within the passenger cabin; and the smoking event did not occur at a second location that is different than the first location within the passenger cabin of the vehicle.
System and method for monitoring and suppressing fire
A fire detection and suppression system includes a system controller for determining an initial location of the fire based on fire location information from fire detectors, and then the system controller determines a final location of the fire based on fire location information taking into account spatial and/or angular relationships between the fire detectors and the initial location. The system controller determines a location of the fire and activates monitors to deploy suppressant based on a distance between each of the monitors and the location of the fire. The system controller controls the monitors based on how the suppressant is deployed onto the fire.
Smoke detector system with expanded capabilities
A smoke detector system functionally integrates several systems into a common housing, including smoke/carbon monoxide detection, motion sensing, camera, lighting and audio systems.
Flame sensing system
This invention relates to the field of sensing flames in equipment using a combustion burner such as gas furnaces by using the electrical properties of flames. In a first group of embodiments flame rectification is used to cause distortion of a signal having a selected waveform. A harmonic of the distorted waveform is detected thereby providing flame proof. In a second group of embodiments flame rectification is used as a mixer to cause two signals having selected waveforms to produce sum and difference signals. The sum and/or difference signals are detected thereby providing flame proof.
