Server-based notification of alarm event subsequent to communication failure with armed security system
A server-based environment for reporting a status of a security, monitoring and automation controller is provided. Detecting cessation of an always-on persistent network connection between the SMA controller and the server is also provided. Reporting the cessation of the network connection to an end user and defined others is further provided. A further aspect provides for automatically reporting an alarm event to a central station, the end user, and others, in the event the cessation of the network connection occurs while the SMA controller is aimed and after a zone fault event, and not receiving a disarm notification prior to expiration of a preset entry delay.
Scalable systems and methods for monitoring and concierge service
Disclosed systems and methods relate to a smart access control device in a security system for monitoring an area. According to embodiments, a method can include receiving, by the smart access control device, from one or more sensors in the area, sensor data about the area. The method can also include analyzing the received sensor data and generating an alert for a user about the area based on the analyzed sensor data. The method can further include transmitting, by the smart access control device, a first signal comprising the alert to a monitoring server of the security system. Moreover, the method can include enabling, by the smart access control device, a person requesting access to the area to enter identification information and granting access to the area to the person based on the received identification information that is evaluated by the user.
Alarm system for unattended vehicle occupants
An alarm system for unattended vehicle including housing assembly and electrical assembly. Vehicle assembly includes seats, seatbelts, motor and dashboards. Housing assembly includes a housing mounted underneath dashboard. Electrical assembly includes seat sensor emitting signal if one of the seatbelts is engaged after motor is turned off. The signal triggers a timer and an alarm. The alarm sounds a speaker mounted to housing. If timer is lapsed a second signal sends an alert message to emergency services to warn that people are inside of vehicle preventing people from being damaged by heat.
NOTIFICATION METHOD, APPARATUS AND PROGRAM
A notification method is a notification method of providing a notification of a warning indicating that an infant is left unattended in an automobile, the notification method including: a detection step of detecting, by a detection unit 1, whether the infant is left unattended; and a notification step of providing, by a notification unit 2, the notification of the warning when the infant is left unattended. The detection step includes detecting that the infant is left unattended when at least both of a case where a door used by a driver of the automobile is closed after being opened and a case where the driver is not in a driver's seat of the automobile are satisfied within a time frame and the infant is in the automobile.
APPARATUS FOR LIGHTING CONTROL
Methods, systems, and devices for lighting control are described. An apparatus may include a panel for controlling one or more devices associated with a home. A panel may include a recess shaped to encapsulate a switch disposed on a wall of the home. A panel may include user interface hardware configured to receive input from a user. A panel may include a processor, a memory in electronic communication with the processor storing instructions executable by the processor. An instruction may include transmitting one or more communications to the one or more devices to cause the one or more devices to perform a first action based on input received by the user interface hardware. An instruction may include transmitting one or more communications to the home automation hub to cause one or more other devices to perform a second action based on the input received by the user interface hardware.
Fall detection—audio looping
Techniques are provided for contacting emergency response services when certain conditions are met. In some instances, it may be determined, by a wearable device, whether a user has responded to a first user interface prompt displayed in response to detection of a physical event associated with the user. In accordance with a determination that the user has not responded to the first user interface prompt after expiration of a first time period, certain actions may be performed. For example, a countdown timer may begin to run for a second timer period. During the second period, an audio alert and a haptic alert may be output by the wearable device. In accordance with a determination that the user has not responded to a second user interface prompt prior to expiration of the second time period, a communication channel request may be transmitted to an emergency response service by the wearable device.
Systems and methods for health monitoring and providing emergency support
Systems and methods for providing a health monitoring and emergency response service are provided. Each element in a plurality of data elements is obtained from a health monitoring device connected to a corresponding subject in a plural of subjects. An alert is triggered through analysis of the data element or manually triggered by the subject or a subject's circle of support. The subject or one or more members of the circle of support of the subject verifies or rejects the alert. The alert is sent to a remote monitoring alarm center and emergency responders are dispatched.
Facility alert system
A facility alert system is provided. The system includes a plurality of remote units, wherein each unit includes a housing having a plurality of controls thereon. Each of the plurality of remote units is in wireless communication with each other via a wireless transceiver disposed within the housing. Each of the plurality of controls illuminates a corresponding indicator light disposed on each housing of the plurality of remote units when actuated. Upon actuation of one of the plurality of controls, an alert signal is transmitted to emergency services via the wireless transceiver. In some embodiments, a vibration motor is disposed within each housing, whereupon actuation of one of the plurality of controls, each vibration motor activates to vibrate each housing in a pattern corresponding to each control.
METHODS AND SYSTEMS FOR MANAGING EXECUTION OF STANDARD OPERATING PROCEDURES BY AN OPERATOR TO ADDRESS ALARMS GENERATED BY A FACILITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
A computer assisted facility monitoring method provides users with predefined operating procedures that are recommended for addressing one or more alarms acknowledged by the user. The predefined operating procedures are created and stored prior to the occurrence of the alarms. In some examples, after acknowledging an alarm occurrence, the user may be provided with an option for bypassing or disregarding the alarm, as some such acknowledgements may have been for false alarms. In some examples, the predefined operating procedure may specify multiple action steps for addressing an alarm. In such examples, the user can close out or settle an alarm incident even without completing all of the action steps, provided the user enters a valid reason for doing so. In some examples, a user can batch-select a group of alarms, wherein perhaps only some of the acknowledged alarms in the group have corresponding predefined operating procedures.
DOORBELL COMMUNICATION SYSTEMS AND METHODS
A method of operating a doorbell system can include receiving, by a remote computing device, a notification of an emergency event and in response to the receiving, illuminating at least one light of a doorbell to indicate an occurrence of the emergency event. The method can further include, in response to receiving the notification, initiating a communication with an emergency dispatcher and/or an emergency contact. The at least one light can illuminate in a variety of colors and illumination patterns corresponding to the type of emergency event.
