Call system for simultaneous calls to telephones in area for disaster and emergency
A call apparatus includes a storage unit that stores therein location information of call target telephones including a landline telephone, a receiving unit that receives an SOS, and a control unit that accesses the storage unit to specify telephones located within a prescribed range from the source point of the SOS received by the receiving unit, and simultaneously calls the specified telephones.
Methods and systems for managing execution of standard operating procedures by an operator to address alarms generated by a facility management system
A computer assisted facility monitoring method provides users with predefined operating procedures that are recommended for addressing one or more alarms acknowledged by the user. The predefined operating procedures are created and stored prior to the occurrence of the alarms. In some examples, after acknowledging an alarm occurrence, the user may be provided with an option for bypassing or disregarding the alarm, as some such acknowledgements may have been for false alarms. In some examples, the predefined operating procedure may specify multiple action steps for addressing an alarm. In such examples, the user can close out or settle an alarm incident even without completing all of the action steps, provided the user enters a valid reason for doing so. In some examples, a user can batch-select a group of alarms, wherein perhaps only some of the acknowledged alarms in the group have corresponding predefined operating procedures.
SMART SURVEILLANCE SYSTEM FOR SWIMMING POOLS
A swimming pool monitoring system including an imaging sensor for detecting the presence of an object within a defined perimeter of the swimming pool and a computer system operatively coupled to the imaging sensor with a non-transitory computer readable medium storing a program causing the computer system to execute processing to determine when an object is moving within a field of view of the imaging sensor once detected by the imaging sensor, to determine an angle of the object relative to the imaging sensor and to determine a range of the object relative to the imaging device to include a determination of a size of object for providing an alarm when the object approaches within a predetermined distance of the pool edge.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR AN ALERT DEVICE
An alert device, a method of using an alert device, and a personnel security system including an alert device. The alert device includes an attachment mechanism and a housing coupled together. The housing is configured to transmit a signal. The method of using an alert device includes releasably attaching an alert device to a human body, activating a sensor on the alert device, generating an alert from the alert device, receiving the alert in a receiver, identifying a location of the alert device based at least in part on a location of the receiver, and providing notification of the alert and the location of the alert device.
Systems and methods for robust man-down alarms
A system including at least one detector and a central station in two-way communication with the detector is provided. The detector can include an ambient condition sensing element, a motion sensor, control circuitry, and two-way communications hardware. The control circuitry can determine an alarm event based on a first signal received from the ambient condition sensing element and can transmit an alarm signal to the communications hardware during the alarm event. The control circuitry can also determine a man-down event based on a second signal received from the motion sensor and transmit a man-down alarm signal to the communications hardware during the man-down event. The two-way communications hardware can transmit at least one of the gas alarm signal and the man-down alarm signal to a remote location, and the two-way communications hardware can receive a status inquiry from the remote location.
Systems and methods of monitoring alarms from third party devices
A server acts as an event analyzer for a home security or monitoring system. The server receives a signal from a remote third-party server, the signal including data relating to a condition detected by a device at a premises. The server determines whether the remote third-party server corresponds to a preexisting third-party server registration. The server determines whether the device corresponds to a preexisting device registration. When the remote third-party server is determined to correspond to the preexisting third-party server registration and the device is determined to correspond to the preexisting device registration, the server determines whether the condition detected by the device at the premises is an alarm condition. When the condition detected by the device at the premises is determined to be the alarm condition, the server transmits an alarm signal to a central monitoring station.
WAKE WORD BASED ON ACOUSTIC ANALYSIS
A sound-enabled detection system responds to a wakeup sound, and notifies a central server. Based on which wakeup sound is detected; the system's configuration is modified accordingly. More particularly, at least one sensor in the system has its wakeup sound reconfigured to “wake up” upon detection of a second wakeup sound when the first wakeup sound is detected.
MOBILE TERMINAL BASED PLATFORM FOR EMERGENCY CALLING, RISK PREWARNING, AND ASKING FOR HELP BY ONE KEY
The present invention relates to a mobile terminal based platform for emergency calling, risk prewarning, and asking for help by one key. The platform comprises: a daily emergency calling module for a user asking for help to send a message asking for help to other users through the platform and to obtain a response from other users through the platform, and establishing a one-to-one response dialogue between the user asking for help and a user making the response; a prewarning information receiving and issuing module for issuance, enquiry, reception and dialogue of risk information and establishing a many-to-many dialogue among users who are concerned with the risk information; and a risk emergency calling module for a user confronted with an extreme risk event to send a risk message asking for help to a preset contact group through clicking one key in case of an urgent response and emergency calling.
PRE-GENERATING VIDEO EVENT NOTIFICATIONS
Methods, systems, and apparatus for pre-generating video event notifications are disclosed. A method includes obtaining images of a scene from a camera; determining that an event is likely to occur at a particular time based on the obtained images; in response to determining that the event is likely to occur at the first time, generating an instruction that triggers a user device to provide an alert to a user of the user device at the particular time; and providing the instruction to the user device. Providing the instruction to the user device includes providing alert data and an instruction to pre-cache the alert data until the particular time. The alert data includes at least one of: the obtained images; notification text to be displayed; a classification of an object identified in the images; the particular time that the event is likely to occur; or a classification of the event.
Smart-home device installation guidance
Various arrangements for assessing an installation of a smart home device are presented. An orientation of the smart home device may be analyzed to determine whether the orientation of the smart home device is unsuitable for one or more features of the smart home device to function properly. An indication of whether the orientation of the smart home device is unsuitable may be output, such as by the smart home device using voice or lighting.
