Automated robot alert system
A robot alert system includes a robot server that receives contextualized sensor data from one or more mobile robots and generates alerts to one or more individuals according to a set of configured alert rules. The contextualized sensor data includes location data indicating a location of the mobile robot and sensor data obtained by the mobile robot representing sensed conditions of an environment associated with the location. The robot server accesses staff member data associated with each of a plurality of staff members from a staff member database and accesses a set of stored alert rules specifying alert criteria for triggering the alert. Responsive to determining that the contextualized sensor data meets the alert criteria for s target staff member, the robot server generates and transmits an alert to a client device associated with the target staff member.
ALARM SIGNALING TECHNOLOGY
Techniques are described for handling an event where a control panel or an alarm signaling device is tampered with or destroyed by a disablement tactic, e.g., a “crash and smash intrusion.”
Method for managing the assistance to a person in response to the emission of an alert
A method for managing the assistance to a person in response to the emission of an alert includes emitting an alert from a piece of mobile equipment of a first user to a plurality of users; establishing a first two-way communication between the first equipment and a given terminal of the first set of an assisting user; automatic generating of a plurality of first notifications to a subset of terminals of the first set, each one of the notifications including at least one piece of data that identifies the assisting user; automatic generating of a plurality of second notifications to the second subset, each second notification including a status relative to the processing of the alert by the assisting user.
Systems, methods and apparatus for providing enhanced situational awareness in incidents
Embodiments of systems, apparatus, and/or methods are described for enhanced situational awareness of dispatchers and/or first responders associated with responding to an incident such as an emergency situation by assigning mobile emergency units to a scene of emergency. As such, an emergency response system is disclosed. In some embodiments, the disclosed emergency response system provides an electronic platform for collaboration or partnership involving two or more first responders. In some partnership embodiments, the disclosed emergency response system provides a ranked list of potential candidates than can be assigned to respond to the incident. For example, the potential candidates can be mobile emergency units belonging to a first responder and/or its partner(s). Various beneficial aspects of partnerships and their technical implementations are discussed in detailed herein.
Systems and methods for managing alert notifications from a secured area
Systems and methods for managing alert notifications from a secured area are provided. Such systems and methods can include a surveillance device monitoring the secured area and transmitting data captured from the secured area to an artificial intelligence module, the artificial intelligence module using the data to identify a scenario associated with the secured area and a notification priority of the scenario, and when the notification priority is at or above a preconfigured level, the artificial intelligence module transmitting an alert notification to a cloud server indicative of the scenario.
Artificial Intelligence Driven Smart Child Safety System
An apparatus of and a method for facilitating an artificial intelligence (AI) driven smart child safety system for motor vehicles provide active and constant monitoring for onboard child safety. The system includes various sensors and an AI controller that uses face recognition and seatbelt recognition technologies to monitor the presence of a child and/or adult through multiple cameras. Thus, the system can send out voice/text/video alarms whenever encountering an unsafe condition and/or emergency if a child is present in the vehicle without an adult, the child's seatbelt is not securely fastened, the vehicle cabin temperature is out of a safe range, the child's body temperature exceeds a predetermined maximum safe temperature, the vehicle is speeding, etc. The voice/text/video alarms are instantly played out via a speaker, a personal computing (PC) device, and/or sent to a local safety authority.
Community security system using intelligent information sharing
The present invention relates to a community security system capable of monitoring multiple, generally adjacent, consecutive private security areas to confirm human activity and engage sensory alerts. The community security system includes at least two private security areas having the capability of being networked together to enable information sharing. Each private security area is monitored by a private security system and contains one or more detection devices for monitoring and detecting activity occurring within the boundaries of the private security area. Information detected by detection devices within the private security areas can then communicate with other detection devices within the private security area or with the community security system to confirm activity, track activity across adjacent boundaries, engage sensory alerts and notify community members or authorities, as needed.
A SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR TRANSMITTING AN ALERT FROM A WEARABLE DEVICE TO A USER NETWORK
The invention discloses a system and method for transmitting an alert from a wearable device to a user network. The wearable device includes a trigger to initiate a situation and a coupling device to couple the trigger to a notification system to notify the situation to a set of persons in the user network. The notification system allows the registration of the user, at least one guardian and the set of persons. The notification system generates a dependability score for each of the set of persons. The notification system also determines the current geo-location of the user, the guardian and the set of persons to determine a first group of trusted persons. The notification system transmits a first message to the first group of trusted persons and the guardian.
System and method for caregiver availability determination
A system and method to determine availability of caregivers to respond to nurse calls or other alerts originating in patient rooms is provided. Caregivers are designated as unavailable depending upon room types in which they are located, or depending upon patient types in the rooms in which they are located, or depending upon how long they have been present in certain rooms, or depending upon whether the caregivers have designated themselves as unavailable, or any combination of the foregoing. A system and method to escalate alerts to other caregivers if a primary caregiver is unavailable includes escalating first to a designated secondary caregiver and then to a caregiver who is closest in proximity to the room from which the alert originated if the secondary caregiver is also unavailable.
DEVICES, SYSTEMS, AND METHODS FOR MONITORING CONTROLLED SPACES FOR TRANSITORY USES
The invention includes electronic monitoring-device for monitoring controlled spaces, as well as systems and methods for such monitoring. The monitoring-devices may be battery powered devices, with various sensors and capable of wireless communications. Installation of the monitoring-device may not require any wiring. These monitoring-devices may be installed at a given controlled space to monitor that given controlled space and to electronically communicate occurrences of that given controlled space to various interested stakeholders, such as, but not limited to, a tenant of the given controlled space, facility operators of the given controlled space, the provider of the electronic monitoring-device, and/or third-parties (e.g., insurance companies, first responders, and/or law enforcement). The monitoring-device may provide details, information, alerts, reminders, notices, notifications, alarms, and/or the like to various authorized stakeholders of the occurrences within that given controlled space. One example of a controlled space is a self-storage unit.
