A method includes the steps of electronically generating a pass for a user within a facility; electronically tracking the location of the user within the facility; electronically generating a notification of an event; electronically receiving a message from the user whether the user is inside or outside of the facility; and electronically generating a list of people inside the facility.

A system and method for electronic notification of a person(s) in proximity to a given location at the time assistance is needed. A networked system of wireless radio, sound and/or light-based beacons are provided for communicating with a person's smartphone, computer system, or other electronic device. Wireless radio, sound and/or light-based beacons selectively broadcast a configurable data set within a given area of the beacon. The strength of the signal can vary depending on the alert type, time to respond requirements and specific characteristics of the location that would affect the time to respond. Software running on the person's smartphone, computer system, tablet or other electronic device preferably receives the signal(s) broadcast by the wireless radio, sound and/or light-based beacons and decoding the data set broadcast. Depending on the configuration of the system, the decoded data set can cause the software to provide an alert to the person, which can include, but is not limited to, the location and type of alert. The alert may take the form of a visual message on the display of the person's smartphone, computer system, or other electronic device, an audible alert, vibration, and/or other available alerting mechanism on the person's smartphone, computer system or other electronic device.

Aspects of the present disclosure provide an environmental probe configured to be at least partially inserted into the ground at a location and to provide defensible space monitoring and maintenance for a home or other structure. The environmental probe may include one or more environmental sensors configured to perform various environmental measurements to generate environmental measurement data. The environmental probe (e.g., a processor of the environmental probe) may compare the environmental measurement data to one or more thresholds to determine an alert state associated with the location. The environmental probe may include one or more wireless interfaces configured to enable communication with a remote device, such as a smart hub device or other environmental probes. The environmental probe may transmit an indicator of the alert state to the remote device to enable performance of one or more operations based on the alert state.

A facility alert system is provided. The system includes a plurality of remote units, wherein each unit includes a housing having a plurality of controls thereon. Each of the plurality of remote units is in wireless communication with each other via a wireless transceiver disposed within the housing. Each of the plurality of controls illuminates a corresponding indicator light disposed on each housing of the plurality of remote units when actuated. Upon actuation of one of the plurality of controls, an alert signal is transmitted to emergency services via the wireless transceiver. In some embodiments, a vibration motor is disposed within each housing, whereupon actuation of one of the plurality of controls, each vibration motor activates to vibrate each housing in a pattern corresponding to each control.

Provided is a system used in various facilities, which enables every specific event as a sign of an accident to be detected without missing to ensure transmission of an alert message at a proper time, thereby preventing accidents from occurring. The system includes cameras for capturing images of a monitoring area, and a monitoring server for controlling transmission of an alert message based on the images, wherein the monitoring server is configured to: set a sensing area around an entrance to a risky point (escalator entrance) and a notifying area closer to the risky point than the sensing area; sense a person in the sensing area and detect a specific event associated with the person based on images captured by each camera; and, when the sensed person enters the notifying area, transmits an alert message corresponding to the specific event associated with the person.

In one aspect, a monitoring system, comprising: a plurality of monitoring control units, and a monitoring application server, wherein the monitoring application server includes a network interface, one or more processors, and one or more storage devices that include instructions to perform operations. The operations include receiving an emergency event notification from a first monitoring control unit of the plurality of monitoring control units, determining a type of emergency event, and a location associated with the emergency event notification, identifying one or more drones that can be deployed to the location associated with the emergency event, and transmitting an instruction to a monitoring station server associated with a drone base station to deploy the one or more identified drones to the location associated with the emergency event.

A plurality of private and public security surveillance cameras is coupled to a server. Exterior/street view video images are streamed to the server which may contact an owner for emergency access. An emergency agency vehicle at a location has a display for a selected gallery of obfuscated exterior/street views from cooperative networks of public and private security cameras bearing on the vicinity of an incident.

Monitoring system and method for identifying object of interest after the object of interest has undergone a change in appearance. The method includes detecting an appearance of a first object of interest in a first zone and determining whether the first object of interest has appeared in a second zone adjacent the first zone within a predetermined time. When the first object of interest has not appeared in the second zone within the predetermined time, the method includes adding the first object of interest to a disappearance database and detecting an unexplained appearance of a second object of interest in a third zone of the plurality of zones. When an unexplained appearance of the second object of interest is detected, the method includes adding the second object of interest to a suspect database, and generating a notification for a first responder regarding the second object of interest.
