Real time defibrillator incident data

System and methods for delivering defibrillator incident information to a PSAP in real-time during emergency use of an AED are described. Such information is utilized by a telecommunicator at a PSAP to provide better guidance to volunteer caregivers during potential cardiac arrest incidents. In another aspect the AED's current instruction state and optionally the time in that state is provided to the PSAP.

Responder network

A variety of methods, medical devices, responder network servers, emergency services interfaces and call center related processes are described that can help improve responder networks designed to get a medical device such as an automated external defibrillator and/or volunteer responders to the scene of a potential medical incident.

Method and system for optimal emergency communication

This invention relates to automatic delivery of messages, particularly to provide delivery of messages as a single instance message in which the user has the greatest probability of successful transmittance of the emergency message in one single instance of transmission.

Surveillance system

An automated surveillance system is disclosed in this specification. The system comprises a computing system arranged to receive a plurality of surveillance feeds from a surveillance network and detect characteristics of the surveillance feeds that are indicative of categorized events. Each of the surveillance feeds has a geospatial reference tag that identifies the origin of content contained within the feed. The surveillance system determines a response reaction to detected events and identifies potential response units in the vicinity of the surveillance location using the geospatial reference tag.

System and method for generating an alert based on noise

A noise monitoring device and a method of monitoring a location are disclosed. In one example, the noise monitoring device includes: (1) a microphone configured to detect noise proximate the noise monitoring device and derive raw data therefrom, and (2) a processor configured to determine when at least a portion of the raw data exceeds a threshold during a time period. In one example, the method of monitoring a location includes: (1) deriving raw data from noise proximate a noise monitoring device at the location, (2) comparing, for a designated period of time, at least a portion of the raw data to a threshold, and (3) determining an occurrence of an event at the location based on the comparing.

Systems and methods for reconstruction of a vehicular crash

A system for notifying emergency services of a vehicular crash may (i) receive sensor data of a vehicular crash from at least one mobile device associated with a user; (ii) generate a scenario model of the vehicular crash based upon the received sensor data; (iii) store the scenario model; and/or (iv) transmit a message to one or more emergency services based upon the scenario model. As a result, the speed and accuracy of deploying emergency services to the vehicular crash location is increased. The system may also utilize vehicle occupant positional data, and internal and external sensor data to detect potential imminent vehicle collisions, take corrective actions, automatically engage autonomous or semi-autonomous vehicle features, and/or generate virtual reconstructions of the vehicle collision.

Systems and methods for integrated traffic incident detection and response

An electronic device receives operational data indicative of an operational characteristic of a vehicle from a sensor of the electronic device, a sensor of the vehicle, and/or images/videos captured by a camera. The electronic device determines that the vehicle has had a potential incident and a likelihood that the potential incident has actually occurred based on analysis of the operational data. The electronic device also receives risk management data associated with the vehicle from a database, and determines a severity level for the potential incident based on the operational data and the risk management data. The electronic device then sends a notification indicative of the potential incident based on the likelihood that the potential incident has actually occurred and the severity level for the potential incident to a third-party remote system (e.g., of a towing service, an emergency service, or both) to request assistance.

LOCATION BASED ALERTS

Monitoring system alert technology, in which monitoring system data is accessed from a monitoring system that is located in a property of a user and the monitoring system data is analyzed against one or more rules that define alerts provided for the monitoring system. Based on the analysis, a determination is made that an alert for the monitoring system is needed and conditions for providing the alert are accessed. Location of a mobile device of a user associated with the monitoring system and timing related to providing the alert are monitored. The monitored location of the mobile device and the monitored timing are analyzed with respect to the accessed conditions. Based on the analysis, a determination is made that the accessed conditions for providing the alert are met and the alert is output at the mobile device.

INTELLIGENT EMERGENCY RESPONSE FOR MULTI-TENANT DWELLING UNITS

Methods and systems including computer programs encoded on a computer storage medium, for receiving, for a multi-tenant dwelling unit (MDU), a map of the MDU, where the map includes locations corresponding to multiple sensors at the MDU and defines multiple sub-areas of the MDU, receiving sensor data from one or more sensors of the plurality of sensors, where the sensor data is indicative of a fire event at the MDU, determining, from the sensor data, one or more sub-areas of the multiple sub-areas included in the fire event, generating, based on the sensor data, a targeted fire event response for the one or more sub-areas of the multiple sub-areas of the MDU, and providing, to the one or more sub-areas of the multiple sub-areas, the targeted fire event response.

Parameter Prioritized Hirable Emergency Service Providers

A method for automated operation of a system for summoning help from emergency responders is shown and described. A database contains identity and qualifications of potential responders, as well as their geographic locations. Upon receipt of a call for assistance, the system prioritizes available responders based on qualifications and estimated response time. All of these parameters can be updated in real time to reflect changing conditions, with a list of proposed responders being reprioritized accordingly. The system automates data which formerly was verified manually, and also prioritizes proposed responders relying on parameters based on appropriateness for the specific type of emergency.
