DOORBELL COMMUNICATIONS SYSTEMS AND METHODS
Doorbell systems can include a doorbell and a chime. In some embodiments, the chime can be communicatively coupled to a wireless network of a building, to the doorbell, and to a remote computing device. In several embodiments, the chime facilitates communication with at least one of the doorbell, the remote computing device, and a remote sensor.
Automated bulk location-based actions
Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on a computer storage medium, for automating bulk location-based actions in response to disaster events. A system obtains data defining zones related to different geographic locations and configures a set of preferences for each zone. One of the preferences is a command for responding to an event. The system detects a disaster event and determines that a location affected by the event is related to a zone defined at the system. The system obtains sensor data generated by a sensor in the zone that is connected to a monitoring system for the zone. The system generates an alert based on the sensor data and the command and provides the alert to a client device of an entity that manages properties in the zone. The alert provides an assessment of how the disaster event affects items at properties in the zone.
Security system with networked touchscreen
Methods and systems for monitoring a premises are described. A computing device may receive data from a premises management system. The computing device determines one or more actions to perform by analyzing the data. The computing device may determine to output, via a user interface, an indication associated with the data. A user may request video associated with the data.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS OF MONITORING ALARMS FROM THIRD PARTY DEVICES
A server acts as an event analyzer for a home security or monitoring system. The server receives a signal from a remote third-party server, the signal including data relating to a condition detected by a device at a premises. The server determines whether the remote third-party server corresponds to a preexisting third-party server registration. The server determines whether the device corresponds to a preexisting device registration. When the remote third-party server is determined to correspond to the preexisting third-party server registration and the device is determined to correspond to the preexisting device registration, the server determines whether the condition detected by the device at the premises is an alarm condition. When the condition detected by the device at the premises is determined to be the alarm condition, the server transmits an alarm signal to a central monitoring station.
DOORBELL COMMUNICATION SYSTEMS AND METHODS
Doorbell systems can include a speaker and a visitor detection system that includes at least one of a button, a camera, and a motion detector. Doorbell systems can be configured to detect an identity of a visitor via facial recognition, initiate a communication session with a remote computing device, and send the identity to the remote computing device via the first communication session.
COMMUNICATION PROTOCOLS IN INTEGRATED SYSTEMS
Systems and methods comprise a gateway at a premises. The gateway is coupled to a remote system. An interface component is coupled to a processor of the gateway. The interface component comprises at least one module that interfaces and exchanges data with a processing component of a security system installed at a location. The processing component uses a proprietary protocol of the security system for processing data of the security system. The processor controls communications that comprise passing commands from the remote systems to the security system, and passing event data of the security system to the remote system.
Method and system for situational awareness for emergency response
Disclosed are systems and methods for sending emergency alerts. In some embodiments, sensors and wearable devices may trigger and send the emergency alerts and/or warning signals via available communication devices. Multi-media emergency alerts are also disclosed that include situational awareness information for effective and efficient emergency response.
Systems and methods for securely monitoring a shipping container for an environmental anomaly
Systems and methods are described for securely monitoring a shipping container for an environmental anomaly using elements of a wireless node network of sensor-based ID nodes disposed within the container and a command node associated with the container. The method has the command node identifying which of the ID nodes are confirmed as trusted sensors based upon a security credential specific to each of the ID nodes; monitoring only the confirmed ID nodes for sensor data broadcast those ID nodes; detecting the anomaly based upon the sensor data from at least one of the confirmed ID nodes; automatically generating an alert notification related to the detected environmental anomaly for the shipping container; and transmitting the alert notification to the external transceiver to initiate a mediation response related to the detected environmental anomaly.
Cooperative monitoring networks
An electronic monitoring system is described that receives data from a particular monitoring system, receives data from multiple other monitoring systems, analyzes data received from the particular monitoring system irrespective of data received from the multiple other monitoring systems, based on the analysis, determines whether one or more events occur at the particular environment, and in response to determining that a particular event occurs at the particular environment, evaluates the particular event against a set of rules, selects, based on the evaluation results, a particular subset of the multiple other monitoring systems to serve as a cooperative monitoring network, assesses data received from the particular subset of the multiple other monitoring systems, based on the assessment, tracks, in connection with the particular event, events detected by the particular subset of the multiple other monitoring systems, and handles the particular event based on the tracked events.
Security system communicator and keypad device
Techniques are described for replacing a keypad of an existing security system within a property with a communication-enabled keypad device with dual functioning capabilities as a communicator device and a keypad device. In some implementations, data is received from a security panel of a property. A keypad bus protocol of the security panel is determined based on the data received from the security panel. Sensor data is received from one or more sensors located within the property. A monitoring system command that is not specified within a keypad bus of the security panel is determined based on based on the obtained sensor data. The monitoring system command is converted to a panel command using the keypad bus protocol. The panel command is transmitted on the keypad bus of the security panel.
