Wearable personal or public safety device
11488466 · 2022-11-01 ·

Most embodiments of the invention are for a public safety device that is typically worn and may collect various types of information from stimuli, whether from the environment or, if worn, then also from the body wearing the device. The device is typically in constant communication with at least one remote server. In certain embodiments, the device may communicate instrument data to be processed by a remote computing device to detect a combative situation and relay an emergency signal. In other embodiments, based on certain input from the various instruments measuring the stimuli, the device itself may detect a combative situation and transmit an emergency signal.

System and method for oncoming vehicle detection and alerts for a waste collection vehicle

An object detection, tracking and alert system for use in connection with a waste collection vehicle is provided. The system can determine if an external moving object in the surrounding environment of the waste collection vehicle, such as another vehicle or a bicycle, is moving directly towards the waste collection vehicle, and then send one or more alerts to the driver and/or riders on the waste collection vehicle as well as any other waste collection vehicles in the surrounding area.

COLLABORATIVE CONTROL OF EVACUATION OF A VENUE

In an approach to invention purpose, for controlling evacuation of a plurality of individuals carrying corresponding portable computing devices from a venue having a plurality of exits associated with corresponding exit computing devices, wherein the method comprises, under the control of the portable computing device of each of the individuals. One or more computer processors receive one or more of evacuation messages of wireless type each being transmitted by a source entity. The one or more computer processors select a selected evacuation message of the received evacuation messages according to the hop number of the received evacuation messages. The one or more computer processors subscribe to a directed exit being set to the origin exit of the selected evacuation message.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR CRIME RISK FORECASTING USING CYBER SECURITY AND DEEP LEARNING

The present disclosure generally relates to a system for crime risk forecasting using cyber security and deep learning comprises a data input unit for receiving a pre-stored crime event dataset and real time crime event data input along with geographical details of an area; a classification processing unit for categorizing pre-stored crime event dataset and real time crime event data input according to crime type; a graphical user interface for entering a target geographic area for forecasting upcoming crime risk; a central processing unit for generating a crime risk forecast based on the historical crime incident stored in the pre-stored crime event dataset using a deep leaning technique; and a control unit coupled to a display for displaying a crime risk ranking generated based on the crime risk forecast and one or more crime risk event for the target geographic area.

Voice controlled assistance for monitoring adverse events of a user and/or coordinating emergency actions such as caregiver communication
11607182 · 2023-03-21 · ·

A user, such as an elderly person, may be assisted by an assistance device in his or her caregiving environment that operates in conjunction with one or more server computers. The assistance device may execute a schedule of assistance actions where each assistance action is associated with a time and is executed at that time to assist the user. An assistance action may present an input request to a user, process a voice input of the user, and analyze the voice input to determine that the voice input corresponds to a negative response event, a positive response event, or a non-response event. Based on the categorization of one or more voice inputs as negative response events, positive response events, or non-response events, it may be determined to notify a caregiver of the user, for example where the user has not responded to a number of assistance actions.

Systems and Methods for Providing Secure Communications Between Groups of Users
20220343751 · 2022-10-27 ·

The present invention exists as a mobile application and includes systems and methods for allowing users and authority figures to communicate. Tenants living within a community are grouped by a site ID. Authorities such as security guards or law enforcement are assigned an organization ID corresponding with the site ID for the community they serve. Tenants may make requests through the application to authorities with a matching ID comprising anonymous reports, live chat, live calls, or dispatch to a certain location. Tenants may also bypass the corresponding authorities and contact a 911 dispatcher directly. Certain requests may open a direct line of communication between an authority and a tenant. Other requests, including anonymous reports and dispatches, may be sent to all authority figures with an organization ID matching the requesting tenant's site ID. Authorities may send broadcasts through the application to tenants with a matching ID. All communications are encrypted.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR EMERGENCY DISPATCH
20220346185 · 2022-10-27 ·

A computer device generates a response to an emergency being reported by a plurality of sensor devices. The memory contains a sensor data engine and a determinant code calculator. The computer device determines the likelihood of an emergency based on received sensor data and, in some embodiments, answers received from an information provider. The sensor data engine receives external sensor data, determines data values associated with the external sensor data, and calculates an emergency likelihood based on the data values. The determinant code calculator generates a determinant code based on the calculated likelihood, and provides the code to an emergency responder system to generate an emergency dispatch response.

SYSTEMS, METHODS AND DEVICES FOR THE RAPID ASSESSMENT AND DEPLOYMENT OF APPROPRIATE MODULAR AID SOLUTIONS IN RESPONSE TO DISASTERS

A disaster response system includes a communication infrastructure including a plurality of sensor assemblies configured to generate data indicative of at least one of environmental conditions, motion, position, chemical detection, and medical information; and wirelessly provide the generated data to the communication infrastructure. The system also includes an incident command infrastructure configured to exchange data with the communication infrastructure; and detect an incident based on the data from the sensor assemblies. The system also includes an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) configured to deliver a payload in response to the detected incident.

HANDLING DURESS INPUT

Techniques are described for handling duress input. For example, techniques are described for handling duress input provided to a mobile application that controls a monitoring system located at a fixed property.
