Method for allowing drone activity to modify event detection by a monitoring system
Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on a storage device, for enabling drone activity in a property monitored by a property monitoring system without triggering a false alarm. In one aspect, the method includes actions of obtaining a location of the drone, identifying a first sensor installed at the property that is within a predetermined distance of the drone, detecting first sensor data generated by the first sensor that is within a predetermined distance of the drone, wherein the first sensor data includes data that is indicative of an event, determining whether a second sensor that is mounted to the drone is generating second sensor data that corroborates the event indicated by the first sensor data, and disregarding, by the property monitoring system, the first sensor data in determining whether to trigger an alarm.
Security system including automation notification and surveillance integration
A security system including automated notification and surveillance integration is provided. In the security system of the present disclosure, when any of the devices are locked, unlocked, interacted with, alarmed or triggered, a notification or communication signal is sent to at least one other device. The at least one other device may be a receiver, camera, smart phone, smart watch, laptop, desktop, and/or an Internet connected or Internet of Things (IoT) device. Additionally, a system is provided including at least one alarm module that generates an audible sound when an alarm condition is detected; at least one sensor that detects the audible sound and determines if the audible sound is within a predetermined frequency range and an interface that receives at least one first communication signal from the at least one sensor upon detecting an alarm and transmits at least one second communication signal to at least one device.
Methods and systems for a connected building emergency service
A method of supporting emergency services at a server includes: detecting an emergency condition; sending a first notification of the emergency condition to at least one mobile device; determining information for the at least one mobile device; determining a requirement to notify an emergency service provider based, at least in part, on the information for the at least one mobile device; and sending a second notification of the emergency condition to the emergency service provider in response to the requirement to notify the emergency service provider being determined.

Assessing The Security Situation By Means Of IoT Activity Sensors
A method and/or system for assessing the security situation in a building through an evaluation of sensor values provided by activity sensors situated in the building, in particular, in the accommodation region, an estimate of the number of persons actually present in the building, determining the number of persons to be expected in the building by an evaluation of administrative data (HR, Outlook, events, occupancies, etc.). Based upon a comparison of the number of persons to be expected with the number of actual persons, an indicator is determined for assessing the actual security situation in the building or in the accommodation region.
Indoor Positioning System for Fire Alarm System
A building management system tracks occupants of a building in which the building management system is installed and presents information about the occupants, including location information, to first responders during emergency and/or training events. Distributed devices of the building management system receive identification information broadcast by user devices of the occupants and sends the identification information to a control panel of the building management system. Location information for the occupants is generated based on the identification information received from the user devices and stored along with time and date information. This location information is then retrieved and presented to first responders, for example, by displaying a map of the building with icons representing the distributed devices and occupants, based on the location information.
HAZARDOUS CONDITION DETECTOR WITH WIRELESS COMMUNICATION INTERFACE
A hazardous condition detection device includes a small and lightweight main body having connectors along one side for securement to a building wall or ceiling. A detection unit is positioned within the main body and includes sensors such as a smoke detection sensor, a heat detection sensor, a carbon monoxide sensor, a radon detection sensor, a natural gas detection sensor, and/or a propane detection sensor. An alarm unit is positioned within the main body for generating an audiovisual alarm indication. A controller having a wireless interface is positioned within the main body and communicates with an externally located processor enabled device.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR PROVIDING AUGMENTED REALITY EMERGENCY RESPONSE SOLUTIONS
An emergency response system (ERS) configured to acquire target terminal location data, emergency responder terminal location data, and equipment location data, engage a camera component of the emergency responder terminal to capture images of at least a portion of the surrounding real-world scene, providing such images for display on the touchscreen display of the emergency responder terminal, and providing one or more menu items associated with a selected target terminal display object, the one or more menu items configured to activate a resource of the target terminal of the selected target terminal display object to assist the emergency responder to locate the target terminal.
