Enhanced Situational Awareness for Emergency Response
An emergency system can access a variety of situational data items, such as video streams, facility information, and present and past incident data. The emergency system identifies data items that may be relevant to a particular incident and provides the relevant data items in one or more user interfaces. For example, the emergency system identifies relevant data items based on the reported location of the incident and the type of incident. As additional incident information is received or entered by telecommunicators, the emergency system can further filter and surface data items likely to be useful in responding to the incident. Certain data items may only be permitted to be viewed by certain types of users, or under certain conditions. The emergency system may ensure that data items are provided to authorized users and in permitted use cases.
User interfaces associated with device applications
This application is directed to user interfaces for displaying information associated with electronic devices. For instance, a client device may receive a request to open an application. The client device may then receive, from a network device, image data generated by one or more electronic devices. Using the image data, the client device may display one or more images represented by the image data on a user interface, where an individual image is associated with a respective electronic device. After a time period has elapsed, the client device may receive, from the network device, additional image data generated by the one or more electronic devices, where the additional image data represents one or more updated images. The client device may then display the one or more updated images, instead of the one or more images, using the user interface.
Systems and methods of monitoring alarms from third party devices
A server acts as an event analyzer for a home security or monitoring system. The server receives a signal from a remote third-party server, the signal including data relating to a condition detected by a device at a premises. The server determines whether the remote third-party server corresponds to a preexisting third-party server registration. The server determines whether the device corresponds to a preexisting device registration. When the remote third-party server is determined to correspond to the preexisting third-party server registration and the device is determined to correspond to the preexisting device registration, the server determines whether the condition detected by the device at the premises is an alarm condition. When the condition detected by the device at the premises is determined to be the alarm condition, the server transmits an alarm signal to a central monitoring station.
Smoke detecting circuit and display panel using the same
The present disclosure provides a smoke detecting circuit and a display panel using the smoke detecting circuit. The circuit includes a smoke sensor, a smoke detecting module, and a first switch module. When the circuit is triggered on fire or smoking because of a short circuit, the smoke sensor is able to detect a smoke signal, the smoke detecting module is able to export a controlling signal immediately to control disconnection of the first switch module, cutting off a power source of a load, and protecting the load immediately while an accident happens. The load can be a display panel. The smoke detecting circuit is used for detecting the smoke signal of the display panel, without any additional external multi-function card, which reduces the installation space of the display panel with an easier arrangement of flat cables, and protects the display panel right away from accidents.
Redirecting traffic from mobile device to initial slice selector for connection
Some embodiments provide a method for a first network slice selector that selects network slices for connections from endpoint devices located within a first geographic range. The method selects a network slice for a connection between a mobile endpoint device and a network domain that originates when the mobile endpoint device is located within the first geographic range. The method stores state that maps the connection to the selected network slice. The method forwards data traffic belonging to the connection from the mobile endpoint device onto the selected network slice using the stored state. After the mobile endpoint device moves from the first geographic range to a second geographic range, the method receives data traffic belonging to the connection from a second network slice selector that selects network slices for connections from endpoint devices within the second geographic range and forwards said received data traffic onto the selected network slice.
System and method for the assignment of passengers to available lifeboat
A system and method for accessing a lifeboat including identifying and accounting for individuals needing access to a lifeboat having one or more CPUs, one or more databases, a plurality mobile PDA, dependent on receiving an initiating signal, and thereafter receiving from receiver a lockout condition, that utilizes a register for decrementing the available space in a lifeboat dependent on a received lockout condition, at least on of the CPUs having a program for accounting for passengers, who require access to a available space on a lifeboat, mustering and re-routing the passengers to muster stations based an algorithm that calculates available space, and assigning passengers to a lifeboat, dependent on an algorithm that assigns passengers to available space on a lifeboat, so passengers will be safely and expediently assigned to fillable space on a serviceable lifeboat.
FACILITY MONITORING APPARATUS AND METHOD
An autonomous facility monitoring apparatus and method in a facility can remain on at all times and functions to determine whether an unauthorized person has entered or is attempting to enter the facility and/or whether an environmental danger exists or is predicted. Continuously monitoring physical characteristics of a person and/or location of a person in the facility provides information for automatically detecting and signaling a detrimental health condition, for automatically controlling operation of apparatus of the facility, for operating gaming features, and so on.
SECURITY SYSTEM WITH SMART CONNECTION MODULE
Systems and techniques are described for a sensor designed to connect to and monitor devices in an ecosystem. In some implementations, a system monitors a property that includes the sensor configured to generate sensor data reflecting an attribute of the property. The sensor includes a host board that generates the sensor data and a core board connected to the host board. The core board identifies a type of the host board and communicates with a monitor control unit. The monitor control unit receives a request for firmware associated with the type of the host board from the sensor. In response, the monitor control unit accesses the firmware and transmits the firmware to the sensor. The core board of the sensor receives the firmware and stores the firmware. The core board receives the sensor data from the host board and transmits the sensor data to the monitor control unit.
SMOKE DETECTING CIRCUIT AND DISPLAY PANEL USING THE SAME
The present disclosure provides a smoke detecting circuit and a display panel using the smoke detecting circuit. The circuit comprises a smoke sensor, a smoke detecting module, and a first switch module. When the circuit is triggered on fire or smoking because of a short circuit, the smoke sensor is determining to detect smoke signal, the smoke detecting module is determining to export controlling signal immediately to control the disconnection of the first switch module, cutting off the power source of the load, protecting the load immediately while the accident happens. A load can be a display panel. A smoke detecting circuit is used for detecting the smoke signal of the display panel, without any additional external multi-function card, which reduces the installation space of the display panel with an easier arrangement of flat cables, determining to protect the display panel right away from the accidents.
Open architecture, real time, multi-input threat correlation
A system and method for combining the inputs of various sensors used in platforms, primarily those having a military use, having or making use of a number of inputs capable of determining information about an environment in which they are operating. Each input is configured to output a standardized set of information regarding its capabilities and the environment in which it is operating. A correlator is configured to adaptably process the information based on rules contained in at least one changeable correlation matrix and information contained in at least one changeable configuration file. The information, or simply an alert, is provided to at least one output that provides the information to a human operator.
