SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR RETRIEVING SPECIFIC AND ADJACENT STRUCTURE NETWORK MAPS IN REAL TIME
Systems and methods for retrieving RF coverage data for a geographic location and using the RF coverage data for the geographic area to alert a user device are provided. In some embodiments, such systems and methods can include receiving a notification of an emergency event at an emergency dispatch location associated with the geographic location, and pushing the RF coverage data for the geographic location to a first user device or directing the first user device to retrieve the RF coverage data for the geographic location. In some embodiments, such systems and method can include detecting when an ambient location of a second user device indicates proximity to and/or possible or likely entry of the second user device to a portion of the geographic area associated with the RF coverage data that is below a predetermined threshold and, responsive thereto, transmitting an alert to the second user device.
AUTONOMOUS EVENT ASSISTANT DEVICE
A person living with an increased risk of a potentially life threatening condition that could at any moment render the person incapacitated, may find it stressful to be left alone for any length of time even if wearing a monitoring and/or treatment device. Wearers of monitoring and/or treatment systems may find it reassuring that should they become incapacitated when the monitored event occurs, the monitoring system can obtain information during the “blind” time, that is the time between the event onset and rescue arrival. An event assistant device, responsive to a wearable monitoring device's detection of an event, can navigate to the wearable monitoring device and capture visual and/or audio information for handoff to a designated rescuer.
EMERGENCY GPS SIGNAL SYSTEM
An emergency GPS signal system includes a user transmitting an emergency distress signal from an internet-connected device. The emergency distress signal has information concerning the emergency, as inputted or selected by the user, along with location information. The location information may be obtained via GPS, wireless signals, or may be preprogrammed. Utilizing the emergency GPS signal system allows a user a discreet (e.g., inaudible) approach to notifying emergency responders of an emergency situation and its specific location.
Alert system with zoning using wireless portable detectors and a central station
A system and method of monitoring zones for alarm conditions and automatically alerting individuals in a plurality of zones about the safety of a particular zone is provided. The method includes providing a site map of a predefined area, configuring a plurality of zones in the predefined area, receiving ambient condition data and location data from a plurality of wireless devices located in the predefined area, computing an alarm level for each zone in the plurality of zones based on the received ambient condition data and location data, and transmitting alert notifications to the plurality of wireless devices. The alert notification sent to each wireless device is based on the computed alarm level of the zone in which that wireless device is located relative to the computed alarm level of the other zones in the plurality of zones.
SENSING TECHNOLOGIES IN ALARM DEVICES
A detection system having a threshold sensor for detecting indices of an emergency event in a space and a persistent sensor for continually gathering information within a space. The detection system can monitor the space to determine if an emergency event is occurring and continue to collect information regarding the space. The collected information can be transmitted to rescue workers to provide real time or updated information on people present in the space and their condition or other information.
PREFERENCE BASED MASS NOTIFICATION SYSTEM
An event notification system is configured with a record for each one of a plurality of individual responders to a mass notification event. Each record can have preference information that is specified by an individual responder associated with the record, and the event notification system can use the preference information to generate, for each of the individual responders, a single mass notification message that is formatted according to the preferences of each individual responder.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR AUTOMATED DISPATCH OF MOBILE DEVICES IN A COMMUNICATION SYSTEM
A method and apparatus for automated dispatch of mobile devices is provided herein. An infrastructure controller device receives one of an alert and request for a response with respect to an associated location and identifies a first set of mobile devices for responding to the one of the alert and request. The device transmits a first dispatch request to each mobile device in the first set requesting dispatch to the associated location. The device subsequently identifies a higher priority mobile device for responding to the one of the alert and request relative to a lower priority mobile device. Responsive to this identification, the device transmits a second dispatch request to the higher priority mobile device requesting dispatch to the associated location, and further transmits a recall notice to the lower priority mobile device withdrawing the first dispatch request to the lower priority mobile device.
Triggering Actions Based on Shared Video Footage from Audio/Video Recording and Communication Devices
Systems and methods for communicating in a network using share signals in accordance with various embodiments of the present disclosure are provided. In one embodiment, a method for communicating in a network may include receiving, from a first client device, a share signal including first image data captured by a camera of a first audio/video (A/V) recording and communication device and a command to share the first image data with a network of users; processing the share signal by comparing the first image data to second image data captured by a camera of a second A/V recording and communication device; and generating and transmitting an alert to a second client device associated with the second A/V recording and communication device when comparison of the first image data with the second image data indicates a person of interest is depicted in both the first image data and the second image data.
Emergency service provision with destination-specific information
An emergency service provision platform may be provided. The platform may be integrated into existing transportation service provision platforms. The platform may be configured to receive pick-up and destination location and track a passenger's route from the pick-up location to the destination. The platform may provide the passenger with an emergency notification button. Upon selection of the emergency notification button, the platform may communicate and alert comprising passenger and driver information to emergency contacts, infrastructure, and personnel. In some embodiments, the alert may be issued upon a detection of deviation from a route between the pick-up location and the destination. The emergency contacts, infrastructure, and personnel that receive the alert may be pre-set or determined dynamically based on the passenger's location at the time of the alert issuance. Furthermore, while the passenger is en route to the destination, the platform may provide the passenger with destination specific information.
Managing tree risk
A method, a computer program product, and a computer system manage tree risk. The method includes receiving images corresponding to a geographic area. The method includes determining whether a first tree captured in at least one of the images has a condition exhibiting a tree risk that poses a hazard above an acceptable threshold. As a result of the first tree having the condition above the acceptable threshold, the method includes generating a notification identifying the first tree and a location of the first tree. The method includes transmitting the notification to a team equipped to remediate the condition of the first tree.
