Security System And Method Thereof
A security system for detecting an emergency event in a building. The system has one or more sensors deployed in the building for monitoring the building; one or more first action devices deployed in the building for responding to the emergency event; one or more second action devices deployed outside the building for broadcasting an alert of the emergency event to public near the building; and a control circuitry connected to the one or more sensors, the one or more first action devices, and the one or more second action devices for collecting data from the one or more sensors, detecting the emergency event, and responding to the emergency event with broadcasting the alert of the emergency event to the public near the building.
Community Security System Using Intelligent Information Sharing
The present invention relates to a community security system capable of monitoring multiple, generally adjacent, consecutive private security areas to confirm human activity and engage sensory alerts. The community security system includes at least two private security areas having the capability of being networked together to enable information sharing. Each private security area is monitored by a private security system and contains one or more detection devices for monitoring and detecting activity occurring within the boundaries of the private security area. Information detected by detection devices within the private security areas can then communicate with other detection devices within the private security area or with the community security system to confirm activity, track activity across adjacent boundaries, engage sensory alerts and notify community members or authorities, as needed.
Determining location and disruption sequence of power outages
Systems and a method are provided. A system includes a set of power loss detecting and reporting apparatuses. Each of the power loss detecting and reporting apparatuses includes a power loss detection circuit for detecting a local power loss. Each of the power loss detecting and reporting apparatuses further includes a cellular transmitter for transmitting (i) a preloaded code indicative of a power loss location and (ii) a time stamped alarm, to a remote designee entity using a cellular network, responsive to a detection of the power loss. The set of apparatuses collectively provide an outage pattern and sequence for a plurality of supplied locations based on the preloaded code and the time stamped alarm.
Triggering actions based on shared video footage from audio/video recording and communication devices
Systems and methods for communicating in a network using share signals in accordance with various embodiments of the present disclosure are provided. In one embodiment, a method for communicating in a network may include receiving, from a first client device, a share signal including first image data captured by a camera of a first audio/video (A/V) recording and communication device and a command to share the first image data with a network of users; processing the share signal by comparing the first image data to second image data captured by a camera of a second A/V recording and communication device; and generating and transmitting an alert to a second client device associated with the second A/V recording and communication device when comparison of the first image data with the second image data indicates a person of interest is depicted in both the first image data and the second image data.
Information processing system, information processing apparatus, and information processing method
Provided is an information processing system, an information processing apparatus, an information processing method, and a program which are capable of achieving all of crime prevention, disaster prevention, and activation of local community by appropriately conveying an indoor state to the outside while distancing from physical contact. The information processing system includes a detecting unit that detects a feeling of one or more persons located indoors on the basis of sensor data obtained by sensing an indoor state; and a control unit that performs control such that a captured image obtained by imaging the indoor state is output to an outdoor display apparatus in a case in which a value of a feeling of at least any one person among the detected feelings satisfies a predetermined condition.
Determining an event
A system allows for a user to notify an insurance provider or other third-party with a button press. The button can notify of an emergency situation. An event determiner may analyze information of events surrounding the button click. This information may include the time of day, location, identifying information for the insured, recent locations of the button, information from similar button presses and information from previous insurance claims. Based on this information, the event determiner may provide a high percentage estimate of an abnormal condition: home break-in, car accident, flat tire, etc. The system may automatically take action, depending on the event, such as contacting the police, sending a tow truck, or starting an insurance claim.
Security system with cooperative behavior
Security system devices are configured to retrieve historic first sensor data acquired from a protected area in response to receiving a threat alarm notification from a peer security system that is related to an area monitored by the peer security system, wherein the protected area is different from and geographically separate from the area monitored by the peer security system. The system devise determines that a security threat is indicated for the protected area by assessing the retrieved selection of historic first sensor data as a function of a relation of the threat alarm notification from the peer security system to the protected area, wherein assessing the historic first sensor data without the function of the relation of the threat alarm notification from the peer security system to the protected area results in determining that the security threat is not indicated for the protected area.
COOPERATIVE MONITORING NETWORKS
An electronic monitoring system is described that receives data from a particular monitoring system, receives data from multiple other monitoring systems, analyzes data received from the particular monitoring system irrespective of data received from the multiple other monitoring systems, based on the analysis, determines whether one or more events occur at the particular environment, and in response to determining that a particular event occurs at the particular environment, evaluates the particular event against a set of rules, selects, based on the evaluation results, a particular subset of the multiple other monitoring systems to serve as a cooperative monitoring network, assesses data received from the particular subset of the multiple other monitoring systems, based on the assessment, tracks, in connection with the particular event, events detected by the particular subset of the multiple other monitoring systems, and handles the particular event based on the tracked events.
Providing status information for secondary devices with video footage from audio/video recording and communication devices
Systems and methods for communicating in a network using share signals in accordance with various embodiments of the present disclosure are provided. In one embodiment, a method for communicating in a network may include receiving, from a first client device, a share signal including image data captured by a camera of a first audio/video (A/V) recording and communication device; transmitting, to a second A/V recording and communication device, a secondary device state request signal; receiving, from the second A/V recording and communication device a secondary device update signal that includes a status of the at least one secondary device in network communication with the second A/V recording and communication device; and generating and transmitting an alert to a second client device associated with the second A/V recording and communication device, wherein the alert includes the image data and the status of the at least one secondary device.
